42:1	Be ashamed of repeating what you hear, and of betraying secrets. Then you will show proper shame, and will find favor with everyone. 42:2	Do not be ashamed of the law of the Most High and his covenant, and of rendering judgment to acquit the ungodly;	des Gesetzes des Höchsten und seiner Satzung, des gerechten Urteils, das nicht den Schuldigen freispricht,	della legge dell'Altissimo né dell'alleanza, della sentenza per assolvere l'empio,	Usachite manyazi ndi Malamulo ndiponso chipangano cha Mulungu Wopambanazonse, Usachite manyazi kuweruza molungama ngati mlandu wakomera munthu wosapembedza.	شريعة العلي والميثاق والقضاء بحيث لا يبرا المنافق

42:4	of accuracy with scales and weights, and of acquiring much or little;	der Säuberung von Waagschalen und Waage, der Reinigung von Maß und Gewicht, des Einkaufs, ob viel oder wenig,	dell'esattezza della bilancia e dei pesi, dell'acquisto di molte o poche cose,	Usachite manyazi kugwiritsa bwino ntchito miyeso yopimira zinthu ndi kupezapo phindu lalikulu pena laling'ono.	و عدل الميزان والمعيار والمكسب كثر ام قل

42:6	Where there is an untrustworthy wife, a seal is a good thing; and where there are many hands, lock things up. 42:8	Do not be ashamed to correct the stupid or foolish or the aged who are guilty of sexual immorality. Then you will show your sound training, and will be approved by all.	einen Unverständigen und Toren zurechtzuweisen und einen haltlosen Greis, der Unzucht treibt. Dann bist du in Wahrheit vorsichtig und ein behutsamer Mann vor den Augen aller Menschen.	Non vergognarti di correggere l'insensato e lo stolto e il vecchio decrepito che disputa con i giovani; sarai così veramente assennato e approvato da ogni vivente. 42:9	A daughter is a secret anxiety to her father, and worry over her robs him of sleep; when she is young, for fear she may not marry, or if married, for fear she may be disliked;	Eine Tochter ist für den Vater ein Schatz, den er hütet, die Sorge um sie nimmt ihm den Schlaf: in ihrer Jugend, dass sie nicht verschmäht wird, nach der Heirat, dass sie nicht verstoßen wird,	Una figlia è per il padre un'inquietudine segreta, la preoccupazione per lei allontana il sonno: nella sua giovinezza, perché non sfiorisca, una volta accasata, perché non sia ripudiata. 42:10	while a virgin, for fear she may be seduced and become pregnant in her father's house; or having a husband, for fear she may go astray, or, though married, for fear she may be barren.	als Mädchen, dass sie nicht verführt wird, bei ihrem Gatten, dass sie nicht untreu wird, im Haus ihres Vaters, dass sie nicht schwanger wird, im Haus ihres Gatten, dass sie nicht kinderlos bleibt. 42:11	Keep strict watch over a headstrong daughter, or she may make you a laughingstock to your enemies, a byword in the city and the assembly of the people, and put you to shame in public gatherings. See that there is no lattice in her room, no spot that overlooks the approaches to the house.	Mein Sohn, wache streng über deine Tochter, damit sie dich nicht in schlechten Ruf bringt, kein Stadtgespräch und keinen Volksauflauf erregt, dich nicht beschämt in der Versammlung am Stadttor. Wo sie sich aufhält, sei kein Fenster, kein Ausblick auf die Wege ringsum. 42:12	Do not let her parade her beauty before any man, or spend her time among married women;	Keinem Mann zeige sie ihre Schönheit und unter Frauen halte sie sich nicht auf.	Non mostri la sua bellezza a qualsiasi uomo, non segga a ciarlare insieme con le altre donne,	Usamayang'anitsitse kukongola kwa mkazi aliyense, ndipo usamati pakati pa anthu aakazi mbwerekete!	لا تتفرس في جمال احد ولا تجلس بين النساء
42:13	for from garments comes the moth, and from a woman comes woman's wickedness.	Denn aus dem Kleid kommt die Motte, aus der einen Frau die Schlechtigkeit der andern.	perché dagli abiti esce fuori la tignola e dalla donna malizia di donna. 42:14	Better is the wickedness of a man than a woman who does good; it is woman who brings shame and disgrace.	Besser ein unfreundlicher Mann als eine freundliche Frau und (besser) eine gewissenhafte Tochter als jede Art von Schmach.	Meglio la cattiveria di un uomo che la bontà di una donna, una donna che porta vergogna fino allo scherno. 42:15	I will now call to mind the works of the Lord, and will declare what I have seen. By the word of the Lord his works are made; and all his creatures do his will.	Nun will ich der Werke Gottes gedenken; was ich gesehen habe, will ich erzählen: Durch Gottes Wort entstanden seine Werke; seine Lehre ist ein Ausfluss seiner Liebe.	Ricorderò ora le opere del Signore e descriverò quanto ho visto. Con le parole del Signore sono state create le sue opere. 42:16	The sun looks down on everything with its light, and the work of the Lord is full of his glory.	Über allem strahlt die leuchtende Sonne, die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllt alle seine Werke.	Il sole con il suo splendore illumina tutto, della gloria del Signore è piena la sua opera.	Monga dzuŵa limaŵalira zolengedwa zonse, ulemerero wa Ambuye umadzaza zolengedwa zonse.	عين الشمس المنيرة تبصر كل شيء وعمل الرب مملوء من مجده
42:17	The Lord has not empowered even his holy ones to recount all his marvelous works, which the Lord the Almighty has established so that the universe may stand firm in his glory.	Die Heiligen Gottes vermögen nicht, alle seine Wunder zu erzählen. Gott gibt seinen Heerscharen die Kraft, vor seiner Herrlichkeit zu bestehen.	Neppure i santi del Signore sono in grado di narrare tutte le sue meraviglie, ciò che il Signore onnipotente ha stabilito perché l'universo stesse saldo a sua gloria. 42:18	He searches out the abyss and the human heart; he understands their innermost secrets. For the Most High knows all that may be known; he sees from of old the things that are to come.	Meerestiefe und Menschenherz durchforscht er und er kennt alle ihre Geheimnisse. Der Höchste hat Kenntnis von allem, bis in die fernste Zeit sieht er das Kommende.	Egli scruta l'abisso e il cuore e penetra tutti i loro segreti. L'Altissimo conosce tutta la scienza e osserva i segni dei tempi,	Ambuye amadziŵa zobisika m'nyanja yaikulu ndi za m'mitima mwa anthu, ndipo amaona zolinga zao zonse. 42:19	He discloses what has been and what is to be, and he reveals the traces of hidden things.	Vergangenheit und Zukunft macht er kund und enthüllt die Rätsel des Verborgenen.	annunziando le cose passate e future e svelando le tracce di quelle nascoste.	Amafotokoza zakale ndi zakutsogolo, ndipo amaulula zinthu zobisika.	علم الرب كل علم واطلع على علامة الدهر مخبرا بالماضي والمستقبل وكاشفا عن اثار الخفايا
42:20	No thought escapes him, and nothing is hidden from him.	Es fehlt ihm keine Einsicht, kein Ding entgeht ihm.	Nessun pensiero gli sfugge, neppure una parola gli è nascosta.	Amadziŵa maganizo athu onse, zolankhula zathu zonse nzosabisika kwa Iye.	لا يفوته فكر ولا يخفى عليه كلام
42:21	He has set in order the splendors of his wisdom; he is from all eternity one and the same. Nothing can be added or taken away, and he needs no one to be his counselor.	Seine machtvolle Weisheit hat er fest gegründet, er ist der Einzige von Ewigkeit her.Nichts ist hinzuzufügen, nichts wegzunehmen, er braucht keinen Lehrmeister.	Ha ordinato le meraviglie della sua sapienza, poiché egli è da sempre e per sempre. Nulla può essergli aggiunto e nulla tolto, non ha bisogno di alcun consigliere. 42:22	How desirable are all his works, and how sparkling they are to see!	Alle seine Werke sind vortrefflich, doch sehen wir nur einen Funken und ein Spiegelbild.	Quanto sono amabili tutte le sue opere! E appena una scintilla se ne può osservare.	Ntchito zake zonse nzosiririka kwambiri, nzokongola kwabasi m'masomu.	و لم ينقص ولا يحتاج الى مشورة
42:23	All these things live and remain forever; each creature is preserved to meet a particular need.	Alles lebt und besteht für immer, für jeden Gebrauch ist alles bereit.	Tutte queste cose vivono e resteranno per sempre in tutte le circostanze e tutte gli obbediscono.	Zonsezi zilipo ndipo zidzakhalapo mpaka muyaya, zonse zimamvera Iye pa cholinga chake.	ما اشهى جميع اعماله والذي يرى منها مثل شرارة
42:24	All things come in pairs, one opposite the other, and he has made nothing incomplete.	Jedes Ding ist vom andern verschieden, keines von ihnen hat er vergeblich gemacht.	Tutte sono a coppia, una di fronte all'altra, egli non ha fatto nulla di incompleto.	Zinthu zonse zimayenda ziŵiriziŵiri, china choyang'anana ndi chinzake. Palibe chinthu chimene adachipanga mosakwanira.	كل هذه تحيا وتبقى الى الابد لكل فائدة وجميعها تطيعه
42:25	Each supplements the virtues of the other. Who could ever tire of seeing his glory?	Eines ergänzt durch seinen Wert das andere. Wer kann sich satt sehen an ihrer Pracht?	L'una conferma i meriti dell'altra, chi si sazierà nel contemplare la sua gloria?	Zonse zimatsimikiza zokoma za zinzake.
