34:1The senseless have vain and false hopes, and dreams give wings to fools.Nichtige und trügerische Hoffnung ist Sache des Toren und Träume regen nur Törichte auf.Speranze vane e fallaci sono proprie dell'uomo insensato, i sogni danno le ali agli stolti.Maloto si kanthu Anthu opanda nzeru amakhulupirira zinthu zonama ndi zachabe, zitsiru zimatekeseka ndi maloto.الامال الفارغة الكاذبة لذي السفه والاحلام يطير بها الجهال
34:2As one who catches at a shadow and pursues the wind, so is anyone who believes in dreams.Wie einer, der nach Schatten greift und dem Wind nachjagt, so ist einer, der sich auf Träume verlässt.Come uno che afferra le ombre e insegue il vento, così chi si appoggia ai sogni.Kukhulupirira maloto kuli ngati kuumirira mtunda wopanda madzi.مثل الملتفت الى الاحلام مثل القابض على الظل والمتطلب للريح

34:4From an unclean thing what can be clean? And from something false what can be true?Wie kann Reines vom Unreinen kommen? Wie kann Wahres von der Lüge kommen?Dall'impuro che cosa potrà uscire di puro? E dal falso che cosa potrà uscire di vero?Kodi m'zonyansa mungachokere kanthu koyera? Nanga m'mabodza, kodi mungachokere zoona?بالنجس ماذا يطهر وبالكذب ماذا يصدق
34:5Divinations and omens and dreams are unreal, and like a woman in labor, the mind has fantasies.Wahrsagung, Zeichendeuterei und Träume sind nichtig: Was du erhoffst, macht das Herz sich vor.Oracoli, auspici e sogni sono cose vane, come vaneggia la mente di una donna in doglie.Maula, mipingu ndi maloto, zonsezi nzachabe, zili ngati zoganizira za munthu wamkazi pa nthaŵi yake yochira.العرافة والتطير والاحلام باطلة

34:7For dreams have deceived many, and those who put their hope in them have perished.Träume haben schon viele in die Irre geführt, weil sie ihnen vertrauten, sind sie gestrauchelt.I sogni hanno indotto molti in errore, hanno deviato quanti avevano in essi sperato.Ambiri adasokera ndi maloto ndipo amene ankaŵakhulupirira adaonongeka.فان كثيرين اضلتهم الاحلام فسقطوا لاعتمادهم عليها
34:8Without such deceptions the law will be fulfilled, and wisdom is complete in the mouth of the faithful.Das Gesetz wird zuverlässig in Erfüllung gehen. Vollkommen ist Weisheit in einem ehrlichen Mund.Senza menzogna si deve adempiere la legge, la sapienza in bocca verace è perfezione.Kutsata bwino Malamulo sikulira zopeka zonama zoterezi, nzeru zabwino kwenikweni zimapezeka mwa munthu wonena zoona. 34:14Those who fear the Lord will not be timid, or play the coward, for he is their hope.Der Geist der Gottesfürchtigen wird leben;Chi teme il Signore non ha paura di nulla, e non teme perché egli è la sua speranza.Munthu woopa Ambuye sadzakayika pa chilichonse. Sadzakhala wamantha, chifukwa chikhulupiriro chake chili mwa Ambuye.روح المتقين للرب يحيا
34:15Happy is the soul that fears the Lord! To whom does he look? And who is his support?denn ihr Hoffen ist auf ihren Retter gerichtet.Beata l'anima di chi teme il Signore; a chi si appoggia? Chi è il suo sostegno?Ngwodala munthu woopa Ambuye, amadziŵa kumene angapeze chithandizo.لان رجاءهم في مخلصهم
34:16The eyes of the Lord are on those who love him, a mighty shield and strong support, a shelter from scorching wind and a shade from noonday sun, a guard against stumbling and a help against falling.Wer den Herrn fürchtet, verzagt nicht und hat keine Angst, denn der Herr ist seine Hoffnung.Gli occhi del Signore sono su coloro che lo amano, protezione potente e sostegno di forza, riparo dal vento infuocato e riparo dal sole meridiano, difesa contro gli ostacoli, soccorso nella caduta;Ambuye amasunga anthu oŵakonda, Ambuyewo ndi chishango chao cholimba ndi mthandizi wamphamvu. 34:17He lifts up the soul and makes the eyes sparkle; he gives health and life and blessing.Wohl dem, der den Herrn fürchtet.solleva l'anima e illumina gli occhi, concede sanità, vita e benedizione.Amasangalatsa mitima yao ndi kuŵalitsa maso ao, amaŵapatsanso mphamvu, moyo ndi madalitso. 34:18If one sacrifices ill-gotten goods, the offering is blemished; the gifts of the lawless are not acceptable.Auf wen vertraut er und wer ist seine Stütze?Sacrificare il frutto dell'ingiustizia è un'offerta da burla; i doni dei malvagi non sono graditi.Nsembe zochokera pa phindu loipa nzonyansa, mphatso za anthu oipa Mulungu sangazilandire.الى من يتوجه ومن عمدته
34:19The Most High is not pleased with the offerings of the ungodly, nor for a multitude of sacrifices does he forgive sins.Die Augen des Herrn ruhen auf denen, die ihn lieben; er ist ein starker Schild, eine mächtige Stütze, Schutz vor dem Glutwind, Schatten in der Mittagshitze, Halt vor dem Straucheln, Hilfe vor dem Fall,L'Altissimo non gradisce le offerte degli empi, e per la moltitudine delle vittime non perdona i peccati.Mulungu Wopambanazonse sakondwera ndi nsembe za anthu osasamala za Iye. 34:20Like one who kills a son before his father's eyes is the person who offers a sacrifice from the property of the poor.Freude für das Herz, Licht für die Augen, Heilung, Leben und Segen.Sacrifica un figlio davanti al proprio padre chi offre un sacrificio con i beni dei poveri.Kupereka nsembe ndi chuma cholanda kwa munthu wosauka kuli ngati kupha mwana bambo wake akuwona.صيانة من العثار ومعونة عند السقوط هو يعلي النفس وينير العينين يمنح الشفاء والحياة والبركة
34:21The bread of the needy is the life of the poor; whoever deprives them of it is a murderer.Ein Brandopfer von unrechtem Gut ist eine befleckte Gabe,Il pane dei bisognosi è la vita dei poveri, toglierlo a loro è commettere un assassinio.Chakudya chongolaŵa ndiye moyo wa anthu osauka, kuŵalanda chimenecho nkuŵapha.الذابح من كسب الظلم يستهزا بتقدمته واستهزاءات الاثماء ليست بمرضية
34:22To take away a neighbor's living is to commit murder; to deprive an employee of wages is to shed blood.Opfer des Bösen gefallen Gott nicht.Uccide il prossimo chi gli toglie il nutrimento, versa sangue chi rifiuta il salario all'operaio.Kuba chuma cha mnzako nkumupha, kunyenga wantchito pa malipiro ndi ngati kukhetsa magazi ake.الرب وحده للذين ينتظرونه في طريق الحق والعدل
34:23When one builds and another tears down, what do they gain but hard work?Kein Gefallen hat der Höchste an den Gaben der Sünder, auch für eine Menge Brandopfer vergibt er die Sünden nicht.Uno edifica, l'altro abbatte: che vantaggio se ne ricava oltre la fatica?Ngati munthu wina akumanga nyumba, wina nkumagwetsa, kodi aŵiriwo sangodzivuta chabe?ليست مرضاة العلي بتقادم المنافقين ولا بكثرة ذبائحهم يغفر خطاياهم
34:24When one prays and another curses, to whose voice will the Lord listen?Man schlachtet den Sohn vor den Augen des Vaters, wenn man ein Opfer darbringt vom Gut der Armen.Uno prega, l'altro maledice: quale delle due voci ascolterà il Signore?Ngati wina akupemphera, wina nkumatemberera, kodi Ambuye adzamvera uti?من قدم ذبيحة من مال المساكين فهو كمن يذبح الابن امام ابيه
34:25If one washes after touching a corpse, and touches it again, what has been gained by washing?Kärgliches Brot ist der Lebensunterhalt der Armen, wer es ihnen vorenthält, ist ein Blutsauger.Lavarsi dopo aver toccato un morto, poi toccarlo di nuovo: quale utilità c'è in simile abluzione?Ngati usamba m'manja utagwira mtembo, kenaka nkuugwiranso, kusamba kuja kuli ndi phindu lanji?خبز المعوزين حياتهم فمن امسكه عليهم فانما هو سافك دماء
34:26So if one fasts for his sins, and goes again and does the same things, who will listen to his prayer?
