18:1He who lives forever created the whole universe;Der Herr, der in Ewigkeit lebt, hat alles insgesamt erschaffen, der Herr allein erweist sich als gerecht.Colui che vive per sempre ha creato l'intero universo.Za ukulu wa Mulungu Amene ali ndi moyo wamuyaya, ndiye amene adalenga zonse.الحي الدائم خلق جميع الاشياء عامة الرب وحده يتزكى
18:2the Lord alone is just.[]Il Signore soltanto è riconosciuto giusto.Ambuye okha ndiwo olungama, palibenso wina koma Iwo okha.لم يسمح لاحد ان يخبر باعماله
18:3-[]A nessuno è possibile svelare le sue opere e chi può indagare le sue grandezze?Amayendetsa dziko lapansi ndi chala chokha, ndipo zinthu zonse zimamvera malamulo ao. Paja Iwo ndi Mfumu ya zinthu zonse, amaonetsa mphamvu zao polekanitsa zinthu zoyera ndi zinthu wamba.و من استقصى عظائمه
18:4To none has he given power to proclaim his works; and who can search out his mighty deeds?Keiner vermag seine Werke zu verkünden. Wer ergründet seine großen Taten?La potenza della sua maestà chi potrà misurarla? Chi riuscirà a narrare le sue misericordie?Palibe munthu amene Ambuye adamtuma kuti akalalike ntchito zao. Ndani angathe kufufuza bwino ntchito zao zodabwitsa?من يعدد قوة عظمته ومن يقدم على تبيان مراحمه
18:5Who can measure his majestic power? And who can fully recount his mercies?Wer kann seine gewaltige Größe beschreiben und seine großen Taten aufzählen bis zum Ende?Non c'è nulla da togliere e nulla da aggiungere; non è possibile indagare le meraviglie del Signore.Palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe amene angathe kudziŵa kukula kwa mphamvu zao. Palibenso amene angathe kufotokoza mbiri yonse ya ntchito zao zachifundo.ليس للانسان ان يسقط من عجائب الرب ولا ان يزيد عليها ولا ان يسبرها
18:6It is not possible to diminish or increase them, nor is it possible to fathom the wonders of the Lord.Man kann nichts wegnehmen und nichts hinzutun, unmöglich ist es, die Wunder des Herrn zu ergründen.Quando uno ha finito, allora comincia; quando si ferma, allora rimane perplesso.Munthu sangathe kuwonjezera pa ntchitozo kapena kuchotsapo, nkosatheka kuzitsata bwino zodabwitsa zonse za Ambuye.اذا اتم الانسان فحينئذ يبتدئ واذا استراح فحينئذ يتحير
18:7When human beings have finished, they are just beginning, and when they stop, they are still perplexed.Ist der Mensch am Ende angelangt, steht er noch am Anfang, wenn er es aufgibt, ist er ratlos.Che è l'uomo? E a che può servire? Qual è il suo bene e qual è il suo male?Pamene munthu wamaliza nkhani imeneyi, ndiye kuti wangoyamba kumene, ndipo akalekeza, amangotibe kakasi. Zakuti munthu si kanthu konseما الانسان وما منفعته ما خيره وما شره
18:8What are human beings, and of what use are they? What is good in them, and what is evil?Was ist der Mensch und wozu nützt er? Was ist gut an ihm und was ist schlecht?Quanto al numero dei giorni dell'uomo, cento anni sono gia molti.Kodi munthu nchiyani, ndipo ali ndi ntchito yanji? Kodi ntchito zake zabwino ndi zoipa zimaonetsa chiyani?عدة ايام الانسان على الاكثر مئة سنة كنقطة ماء من البحر وكذرة من الرمل هكذا سنون قليلة في يوم الابدية
18:9The number of days in their life is great if they reach one hundred years.Das Leben eines Menschen dauert höchstens hundert Jahre.Come una goccia d'acqua nel mare e un grano di sabbia così questi pochi anni in un giorno dell'eternità.Masiku a moyo wake mwina angakwanire zaka 100, akatero ndiye kuti wafika patali.فلذلك طالت عليهم اناة الرب وافاض عليهم رحمته
18:10Like a drop of water from the sea and a grain of sand, so are a few years among the days of eternity.Wie ein Wassertropfen im Meer und wie ein Körnchen im Sand, so verhalten sich die wenigen Jahre zu der Zeit der Ewigkeit.Per questo il Signore è paziente con gli uomini e riversa su di essi la sua misericordia.Tikazilinganiza ndi nthaŵi yamuyaya, zaka za moyo wake zili ngati kadontho kamodzi m'nyanja kapenanso ngati kamchenga kamodzi.راى وعلم ان منقلبهم هائل
18:11That is why the Lord is patient with them and pours out his mercy upon them.Darum hat der Herr mit ihnen Geduld und er gießt über sie sein Erbarmen aus.Vede e conosce che la loro sorte è misera, per questo moltiplica il perdono.Nchifukwa chake Ambuye amaŵalezera mtima anthu, ndipo amaŵachitira chifundo.فلذلك اكثر من العفو
18:12He sees and recognizes that their end is miserable; therefore he grants them forgiveness all the more.Er sieht und weiß, dass ihr Ende schlimm ist; darum hat er so viel Nachsicht mit ihnen.La misericordia dell'uomo riguarda il prossimo, la misericordia del Signore ogni essere vivente.Amaona ndi kudziŵa tsoka limene litha kuŵagwera. Nchifukwa chake amaŵakhululukira kaŵirikaŵiri.رحمة الانسان لقريبه اما رحمة الرب فلكل ذي جسد
18:13The compassion of human beings is for their neighbors, but the compassion of the Lord is for every living thing. He rebukes and trains and teaches them, and turns them back, as a shepherd his flock.Das Erbarmen des Menschen gilt nur seinem Nächsten, das Erbarmen des Herrn allen Menschen. Er weist zurecht, erzieht und belehrt und führt wie ein Hirt seine Herde zurück.Egli rimprovera, corregge, ammaestra e guida come un pastore il suo gregge.Munthu amachitira chifundo anzake okha, koma Ambuye amachitira chifundo zolengedwa zonse. Amazidzudzula, amaziphunzitsa ndi kuzilangiza, amazibweza monga m'mene mbusa amazichitira nkhosa zake.يوبخ ويؤدب ويعلم ويرد كالراعي رعيته
18:14He has compassion on those who accept his discipline and who are eager for his precepts.Glücklich alle, die auf sein Erbarmen hoffen und seine Gebote annehmen.Ha pietà di quanti accettano la dottrina e di quanti sono zelanti per le sue decisioni.Amachitira chifundo onse otsata malangizo ao, ndi amene amamvera mwachangu malamulo ao. Za luso la kupatsaيرحم الذين يقبلون تاديبه ويبادرون الى العمل باحكامه
18:15My child, do not mix reproach with your good deeds, or spoil your gift by harsh words.Mein Sohn, bring keinen Makel auf deine Wohltaten und füg zu keiner Gabe kränkende Worte!Figlio, ai benefici non aggiungere il rimprovero, e a ogni dono parole amare.Mwana wanga, uzichitira anzako zabwino mosatonzera, ndipo ukapereka kanthu, usanenepo mau oŵaŵa.يا بني لا تقرن الصنيعة بالملام ولا العطية بكلام التنغيص
18:16Does not the dew give relief from the scorching heat? So a word is better than a gift.Vertreibt nicht der Tau die Hitze? So ist das Wort mehr als die Gabe.La rugiada non mitiga forse il calore? Così una parola è più pregiata del dono.Kodi suja mame amaziziritsa kutentha? Chimodzimodzinso mau angathe kupambana mphatso.اليس الندى يبرد الحر هكذا الكلام افضل من العطية
18:17Indeed, does not a word surpass a good gift? Both are to be found in a gracious person.Ist das Wort nicht mehr wert als die Gabe? Dem Gütigen steht beides wohl an.Ecco, non vale una parola più di un ricco dono? L'uomo caritatevole offre l'una e l'altro.Zoonadi mau abwino amapambana mphatso yaikulu, munthu wokoma mtima ali ndi ziŵiri zonsezo.اما ترى ان الكلام افضل من العطية وكلاهما عند الرجل المنعم عليه
18:18A fool is ungracious and abusive, and the gift of a grudging giver makes the eyes dim.Der Tor schmäht in liebloser Weise, die Gabe des Geizigen macht die Augen traurig.Lo stolto rimprovera senza riguardo, il dono dell'invidioso fa languire gli occhi.Chitsiru chimangonyoza ndi kunyodola anzake, mphatso ya munthu womana imaŵaŵitsa maso. Za kuganizira bwino ndi kuwoneratu zam'tsogoloتعيير الاحمق مكروه وعطية الحاسد تكل العيون
18:19Before you speak, learn; and before you fall ill, take care of your health.Bevor du redest, unterrichte dich, und ehe du krank wirst, sorge für die Gesundheit!Prima di parlare, impara; curati ancor prima di ammalarti.Usanalankhule uyambe waganizira bwino, ndipo udzisamale usanayambe kudwala.قبل القضاء كن على يقين من الحق وقبل الكلام تعلم
18:20Before judgment comes, examine yourself; and at the time of scrutiny you will find forgiveness.Noch vor dem Gericht erforsche dich selbst, dann wird dir in der Stunde der Prüfung verziehen.Prima del giudizio esamina te stesso, così al momento del verdetto troverai perdono.Asanakuweruze, uyambe wadzifunsitsa bwino, ndipo udzapeza chikhululukiro akakuzenga mlandu.قبل المرض استطب وقبل القضاء افحص نفسك فتنال العفو ساعة الافتقاد
18:21Before falling ill, humble yourself; and when you have sinned, repent.Demütige dich, ehe du zu Fall kommst; zur Zeit der Sünde lass Umkehr erkennen!Umìliati, prima di cadere malato, e quando hai peccato, mostra il pentimento.Udzichepetse usanayambe kudwala, ndipo ukachimwa ulape msangamsanga.قبل المرض كن متواضعا وعند ارتكاب الخطايا ار توبتك
18:22Let nothing hinder you from paying a vow promptly, and do not wait until death to be released from it.Säume nicht, ein Gelübde rechtzeitig einzulösen, warte nicht bis zum Tod, um davon frei zu werden.Nulla ti impedisca di soddisfare a tempo un voto, non aspettare fino alla morte per sdebitarti.Chilichonse chisakuletse kuchita zimene udalumbira, ndipo usadikire mpaka imfa kuti ukonze zinthu.لا يحبسك شيء عن قضاء نذرك في وقته ولا تحجم عن اعمال البر حتى الموت فان ثواب الرب يبقى الى الابد
18:23Before making a vow, prepare yourself; do not be like one who puts the Lord to the test.Ehe du gelobst, überdenk dein Gelübde, sei nicht wie einer, der den Herrn versucht.Prima di fare un voto prepara te stesso, non fare come un uomo che tenta il Signore.Usanalumbire, uyambe waganiza bwino, usakhale ngati munthu woyesa Ambuye.قبل الصلاة اهب نفسك ولا تكن كانسان يجرب الرب
18:24Think of his wrath on the day of death, and of the moment of vengeance when he turns away his face.Denk an den Zorn am Ende der Tage, an die Zeit der Vergeltung, wenn er sein Gesicht abwendet.Pensa all'ira del giorno della morte, al tempo della vendetta, quando egli distoglierà lo sguardo da te.Uganiziretu za ukali umene udzakumane nawo pa nthaŵi ya kufa, ndiponso za chilango chimene udzachiwone ngati Ambuye adzakufulatira.اذكر الغضب في ايام الانقضاء ووقت الانتقام عند تحول الوجه
18:25In the time of plenty think of the time of hunger; in days of wealth think of poverty and need.Denk zur Zeit des Überflusses an die Zeit des Hungers, in den Tagen des Reichtums an Armut und Not!Pensa alla carestia nel tempo dell'abbondanza; alla povertà e all'indigenza nei giorni di ricchezza.Pa nthaŵi uli ndi zakudya zambiri, uzikumbukira nthaŵi ya njala, ndipo pa nthaŵi uli ndi umphaŵi ndi ya usiŵa, uzikumbukira nthaŵi ya chuma.في وقت الشبع اذكر وقت الجوع وفي ايام الغنى اذكر الفقر والعوز
18:26From morning to evening conditions change; all things move swiftly before the Lord.Vom Morgen zum Abend wechselt die Zeit, alles eilt dahin vor dem Herrn.Dal mattino alla sera il tempo cambia; e tutto è effimero davanti al Signore.Kuchokera m'maŵa kufikira madzulo, pakatipa zinthu nkusintha. Zoonadi zinthu zimasinthika msanga pamaso pa Ambuye.بين الغداة الى العشي يتغير الزمان وكل شيء سريع التحول امام الرب
18:27One who is wise is cautious in everything; when sin is all around, one guards against wrongdoing.Ein Weiser nimmt sich immer in Acht, in Zeiten der Sünde hütet er sich vor Verfehlung.Un uomo saggio è circospetto in ogni cosa; nei giorni del peccato si astiene dalla colpa.Munthu wanzeru amakhala tcheru nthaŵi zonse, ndipo pa masiku oipa amasamala kuti asachimwe.الحكيم يتحذر في كل شيء وفي ايام الخطايا يحترز من الهفوات
18:28Every intelligent person knows wisdom, and praises the one who finds her.Jeder Verständige soll Weisheit lehren; wer sie gefunden hat, soll ihr Lob verkünden.Ogni uomo assennato conosce la sapienza e a colui che l'ha trovata rende omaggio.Munthu aliyense wanzeru amaphunzira luntha, ndipo amalemekeza amene adalipeza.كل عاقل يعرف الحكمة ويعترف لمن يجدها
18:29Those who are skilled in words become wise themselves, and pour forth apt proverbs.Wer klug zu reden vermag, ist selbst ein Weisheitslehrer und trägt in Bescheidenheit seine Sinnsprüche vor.Quelli istruiti nel parlare anch'essi diventano saggi, fanno piovere massime eccellenti.Anthu omvetsa zisudzo amasanduka aluntha iwo omwe, ndipo amakamba miyambi yoyenera. Za kudziletsaالعقلاء في الكلام يتممون اعمالهم بالحكمة ويفيضون الامثال السديدة
18:30Do not follow your base desires, but restrain your appetites.Folg nicht deinen Begierden, von deinen Gelüsten halte dich fern!Non seguire le passioni; poni un freno ai tuoi desideri.Usamvere mapendekero ako oipa, ndipo uletse zilakolako zako zosayenera.لا تكن تابعا لشهواتك بل عاص اهواءك
18:31If you allow your soul to take pleasure in base desire, it will make you the laughingstock of your enemies.Wenn du erfüllst, was deine Seele begehrt, erfüllst du das Begehren deines Feindes.Se ti concedi la soddisfazione della passione, essa ti renderà oggetto di scherno ai tuoi nemici.Ukatsata zilakolako zako, adani ako adzakuseka.فانك ان ابحت لنفسك الرضى بالشهوة جعلتك شماتة لاعدائك
18:32Do not revel in great luxury, or you may become impoverished by its expense.Freu dich nicht über ein wenig Lust; doppelt so schwer wird dann die Armut sein.Non godere una vita di piaceri, sua conseguenza è una doppia povertà.Usakonde zosangalatsa zamtengowapatali, kuti ungaonongeretu ndalama zako.لا تتلذذ بكثرة المادب ولا تلزم نفسك الانفاق عليها
18:33Do not become a beggar by feasting with borrowed money, when you have nothing in your purse.Sei kein Fresser und Säufer; denn sonst bleibt nichts im Beutel.Non impoverire scialacquando con denaro preso a prestito, quando non hai nulla nella borsa.Usasanduke mmphaŵi pobwereka ndalama zochitira maphwando pamene m'thumba mwako mulibe kanthu.لا تفقر نفسك بالمادب تنفق عليها من الدين وليس في كيسك شيء فانك بذلك تكمن لحياتك
