14:1Happy are those who do not blunder with their lips, and need not suffer remorse for sin.Wohl dem Menschen, dem sein eigener Mund keine Vorwürfe macht, der nicht klagen muss vor Kummer über seine Sünden.Beato l'uomo che non ha peccato con le parole e non è tormentato dal rimorso dei peccati.Za chimwemwe choona Ngwodala munthu amene sanachimweko polankhula, ndipo sayenera kuvutika mu mtima chifukwa cha machimo.طوبى للرجل الذي لم يزل بفيه ولم ينخسه الندم على الخطيئة
14:2Happy are those whose hearts do not condemn them, and who have not given up their hope.Wohl dem Menschen, der sich nicht selbst tadeln muss und dessen Hoffnung nicht aufhört.Beato chi non ha nulla da rimproverarsi e chi non ha perduto la sua speranza.Ngwodala munthu amene mtima wake sumutsutsa, munthu amene sadataye chikhulupiriro chake. 14:3Riches are inappropriate for a small-minded person; and of what use is wealth to a miser?Einem Engherzigen steht Reichtum nicht an. 14:4What he denies himself he collects for others; and others will live in luxury on his goods.Wer gegen sich selbst geizt, sammelt für einen andern; in seinen Gütern wird ein Fremder schwelgen.Chi accumula a forza di privazioni accumula per altri, con i suoi beni faran festa gli estranei.Munthu wodziwunjikira chuma podzimana, amangosungira anzake, ndi ena amene adzasangalale nacho chuma chakecho.من اختزن بخسران نفسه فانما يختزن للاخرين ويتنعم بخيراته غيره
14:5If one is mean to himself, to whom will he be generous? He will not enjoy his own riches.Wer sich selbst nichts gönnt, wem kann der Gutes tun? Er wird seinem eigenen Glück nicht begegnen.Chi è cattivo con se stesso con chi si mostrerà buono? Non sa godere delle sue ricchezze.Kodi munthu wodziwumira mtima, angathandize anzake bwanji? Iye yemwe sadzakondwera nacho chuma chakecho.من اساء الى نفسه فالى من يحسن الم تره لا يتمتع من امواله
14:6No one is worse than one who is grudging to himself; this is the punishment for his meanness.Keiner ist schlimmer daran als einer, der sich selbst nichts gönnt, ihn selbst trifft die Strafe für seine Missgunst.Nessuno è peggiore di chi tormenta se stesso; questa è la ricompensa della sua malizia.Palibe munthu wouma mtima kwambiri kupambana munthu wodziwumira mtima mwiniwake yemwe. 14:7If ever he does good, it is by mistake; and in the end he reveals his meanness.Tut er etwas Gutes, dann tut er es aus Versehen und am Ende zeigt er seine Schlechtigkeit.Se fa il bene, lo fa per distrazione; ma alla fine mostrerà la sua malizia.Akachita zabwino, ndiye kuti zachitika mwangozi, potsiriza kuipa kwake kumadzaonekerabe poyera.و ان هو احسن فعن سهو وفي الاخر يبدي خبثه
14:8The miser is an evil person; he turns away and disregards people.Schlimm ist ein Geizhals, der sein Gesicht abwendet und die Hungernden verachtet.E' malvagio l'uomo dall'occhio invidioso; volge altrove lo sguardo e disprezza la vita altrui.Ngwoipitsitsa munthu wa diso lanjiru, amafulatira anzake, osasamalako za moyo wao.لا اخبث ممن يحسد بعينه ويحول وجهه ويحتقر النفوس
14:9The eye of the greedy person is not satisfied with his share; greedy injustice withers the soul.Dem Auge des Toren ist sein Besitz zu klein, ein geiziges Auge trocknet die Seele aus.L'occhio dell'avaro non si accontenta di una parte, l'insana cupidigia inaridisce l'anima sua.Maso a munthu woumira sakhutira nazo zinthu zake. 14:10A miser begrudges bread, and it is lacking at his table.Das Auge des Geizigen hastet nach Speise, Unruhe herrscht an seinem Tisch. 14:12Remember that death does not tarry, and the decree of Hades has not been shown to you.Denk daran, dass der Tod nicht säumt und die Frist bis zur Unterwelt dir unbekannt ist.Ricòrdati che la morte non tarderà e il decreto degli inferi non t'è stato rivelato.Kumbukira kuti imfa idzakufikira ndithu tsiku lina, koma nthaŵi yeniyeni yopita ku manda sungaidziŵe.اذكر ان الموت لا يبطئ الم يبلغك عهد الجحيم
14:13Do good to friends before you die, and reach out and give to them as much as you can.Bevor du stirbst, tu Gutes dem Freund; beschenk ihn, so viel du vermagst.Prima di morire fà del bene all'amico, secondo le tue possibilità sii con lui generoso.Usanafe, uzichitira anzako zabwino, uziŵathandiza monga momwe ungathere.قبل ان تموت احسن الى صديقك وعلى قدر طاقتك ابسط يدك واعطه
14:14Do not deprive yourself of a day's enjoyment; do not let your share of desired good pass by you.Versag dir nicht das Glück des heutigen Tages; an der Lust, die dir zusteht, geh nicht vorbei!Non privarti di un giorno felice; non ti sfugga alcuna parte di un buon desiderio.Usadzimane zisangalatso zalero, ndipo zabwino zimene ukuzikhumbira moyenera zisakupite.لا تخسر يوما صالحا ولا يفتك حظ خير شهي
14:15Will you not leave the fruit of your labors to another, and what you acquired by toil to be divided by lot?Musst du nicht einem andern deinen Besitz hinterlassen, den Erben, die das Los werfen über das, was du mühsam erworben hast?Forse non lascerai a un altro le tue sostanze e le tue fatiche per esser divise fra gli eredi?Nanga sudzasiyira ena chuma chako chimene udachivutikira? Ndipo zako zonse zimene udakhetsera thukuta adzaombezera kuti agaŵane bwino.الست مخلفا اتعابك لاخر وما جهدت فيه للاقتسام بالقرعة
14:16Give, and take, and indulge yourself, because in Hades one cannot look for luxury.Beschenk den Bruder und gönn auch dir etwas; denn in der Unterwelt ist kein Genuss mehr zu finden.Regala e accetta regali, distrai l'anima tua, perché negli inferi non c'è gioia da ricercare.Tsono khala munthu wopatsa, kwinaku uzilandira anzako akakupatsa kanthu. Dyeratu, kumanda kulibe zabwino.اعط وخذ وزك نفسك
14:17All living beings become old like a garment, for the decree from of old is, You must die!Wir alle werden alt wie ein Kleid; es ist ein ewiges Gesetz: Alles muss sterben.Ogni corpo invecchia come un abito, è una legge da sempre: «Certo si muore!».Amoyo onse amajujuka ngati nsalu, paja pali lamulo lachikhalire lakuti, “Munthu aliyense adzafa basi!”قبل وفاتك اصنع البر فانه لا سبيل الى التماس الطعام في الجحيم
14:18Like abundant leaves on a spreading tree that sheds some and puts forth others, so are the generations of flesh and blood: one dies and another is born.Wie sprossende Blätter am grünen Baum - das eine welkt, das andere wächst nach -, so sind die Geschlechter von Fleisch und Blut: das eine stirbt, das andere reift heran.Come foglie verdi su un albero frondoso: le une lascia cadere, altre ne fa spuntare, lo stesso avviene per le generazioni di carne e di sangue: le une muoiono, altre ne nascono.Monga amachitira masamba mu mtengo wogudira, ena akuyoyoka, ena akuphukira, ndi m'menenso imachitira mibadwo ya anthu: wina ukufa, wina ukubadwa.كل جسد يبلى مثل الثوب لان العهد من البدء انه يموت موتا فكما ان اوراق شجرة كثيفة
14:19Every work decays and ceases to exist, and the one who made it will pass away with it.Alle ihre Werke vermodern, was ihre Hände schufen, folgt ihnen nach.Ogni opera corruttibile scompare; chi la compie se ne andrà con essa.Ntchito zonse za munthu zimaola, mwini wake akapita, nazonso zii. 14:20Happy is the person who meditates on wisdom and reasons intelligently,Wohl dem Menschen, der nachsinnt über die Weisheit, der sich bemüht um Einsicht,Beato l'uomo che medita sulla sapienza e ragiona con l'intelligenza,Ngwodala munthu amene amasinkhasinkha za luntha, ndipo amagwiritsadi ntchito nzeru.كل عمل فاسد يزول وعامله يذهب معه
14:21who reflects in his heart on her ways and ponders her secrets,der seinen Sinn richtet auf ihre Wege und auf ihre Pfade achtet,che considera nel cuore le sue vie: ne penetrerà con la mente i segreti.Ngwodala munthu amene amalingalira njira zake za luntha, adzasinkhasinkhanso zinsinsi zake.و كل عمل منتقى يبرر وعامله يكرم لاجله
14:22pursuing her like a hunter, and lying in wait on her paths;der ihr nachgeht wie ein Späher und an ihren Eingängen lauert,La insegue come uno che segue una pista, si apposta sui suoi sentieri.Amalithamangira ngati mlenje wosaka nyama, amalalira lunthalo m'njira yake.طوبى للرجل الذي يتامل في الحكمة ويتحدث بها في عقله
14:23who peers through her windows and listens at her doors;der durch ihre Fenster schaut und an ihren Türen horcht,Egli spia alle sue finestre e starà ad ascoltare alla sua porta.Amalisuzumira pa mawindo ake, ndipo amamvetsera pakhomo pake.و يتفكر في طرقها بقلبه ويتبصر في اسرارها ينطلق في اثرها كالباحث ويترقب عند مداخلها
14:24who camps near her house and fastens his tent peg to her walls;der sich bei ihrem Haus niederlässt und seine Zeltstricke an ihrer Mauer befestigt,Fa sosta vicino alla sua casa e fisserà un chiodo nelle sue pareti;Ngwodala amene amakhala pafupi ndi nyumba ya luntha, ndipo amakhoma hema lake pafupi ndi chipupa cha nyumbayo.و يتطلع من كواتها ويتسمع عند ابوابها
14:25who pitches his tent near her, and so occupies an excellent lodging place;der neben ihr sein Zelt aufstellt und so eine gute Wohnung hat,alzerà la propria tenda presso di essa e si riparerà in un rifugio di benessere;Amamanga hema lake pafupi pa lunthalo, pamene mpokoma kukhalapo.و يحل بقرب بيتها ويضرب وتدا في حائطها وينصب خيمته بجانبها وينزل بمنزل الخيرات
14:26who places his children under her shelter, and lodges under her boughs;der sein Nest in ihr Laub baut und in ihren Zweigen die Nacht verbringt,metterà i propri figli sotto la sua protezione e sotto i suoi rami soggiornerà;Amaika ana ake mumthunzi mwake, ndi kumanga msasa m'munsi mwa nthambi zake.يجعل بنيه في كنفها ويسكن تحت اغصانها
14:27who is sheltered by her from the heat, and dwells in the midst of her glory.der sich in ihrem Schatten vor der Hitze verbirgt und im Schutz ihres Hauses wohnt.da essa sarà protetto contro il caldo, egli abiterà all'ombra della sua gloria.Luntha limamteteza ku mafundi, ndipo iye amakhazikika mu ulemerero wa lunthalo.يستتر بظلها من الحر وفي مجدها يجد راحة
