| 7:9 | Do not say, He will consider the great number of my gifts, and when I make an offering to the Most High God, he will accept it. | Sag nicht: Auf die Menge meiner Gaben wird Gott sehen, und wenn ich dem Höchsten opfere, nimmt er es an. | Non dire: «Egli guarderà all'abbondanza dei miei doni, e quando farò l'offerta al Dio altissimo egli l'accetterà». | لا تكن صغير النفس في صلاتك | |||||||||||

| 7:16 | Do not enroll in the ranks of sinners; remember that retribution does not delay. | Überschätz dich nicht vor dem Volk; bedenk, dass der Zorn nicht ausbleibt. | Non unirti alla moltitudine dei peccatori, ricòrdati che la collera divina non tarderà. | لا تكره الشغل المتعب ولا الحراثة التي سنها العلي | |||||||||||
| 7:17 | Humble yourself to the utmost, for the punishment of the ungodly is fire and worms. | Demütige deinen Stolz ganz tief, denn was den Menschen erwartet, ist die Verwesung. | 7:20 | Do not abuse slaves who work faithfully, or hired laborers who devote themselves to their task. | Misshandle einen Sklaven nicht, der dir treu dient, auch nicht einen Tagelöhner, der sich willig einsetzt. | Non maltrattare uno schiavo che lavora fedelmente né un mercenario che dà tutto se stesso. | لا تبدل صديقا بشيء زمني ولا اخا خالصا بذهب اوفير | |||||||||||
| 7:21 | Let your soul love intelligent slaves; do not withhold from them their freedom. | Einen klugen Sklaven liebe wie dich selbst, verweigere ihm die Freilassung nicht! | Ami l'anima tua un servo saggio e non ricusargli la libertà. | لا تفارق امراتك اذا كانت حكيمة صالحة فان نعمتها فوق الذهب | |||||||||||
| 7:22 | Do you have cattle? Look after them; if they are profitable to you, keep them. | Hast du Vieh, so schau darauf; ist es brauchbar, so behalt es! | Hai bestiame? Abbine cura; se ti è utile, resti in tuo possesso. | لا تعنت عبدا يجد في عمله ولا اجيرا يبذل نفسه | |||||||||||
| 7:23 | Do you have children? Discipline them, and make them obedient from their youth. | Hast du Söhne, nimm sie in Zucht und gib ihnen Frauen in jungen Jahren! | Hai figli? Educali e sottomettili fin dalla giovinezza. | لتحبب نفسك العبد العاقل ولا تمنعه العتق | |||||||||||

Be concerned for their chastity, and do not show yourself too indulgent with them. | Hast du Töchter, so behüte ihren Leib; zeig dich ihnen nicht allzu freundlich! | Hai figlie? | 7:26 | Do you have a wife who pleases you? | 7:27 | With all your heart honor your father, and do not forget the birth pangs of your mother. | Ehre deinen Vater von ganzem Herzen, vergiss niemals die Schmerzen deiner Mutter! | Onora tuo padre con tutto il cuore e non dimenticare i dolori di tua madre. | زوج بنتك تقض امرا عظيما وسلمها الى رجل عاقل | |||||||||||
| 7:28 | Remember that it was of your parents you were born; how can you repay what they have given to you? | Denk daran, dass sie dir das Leben gaben. | 7:36 | In all you do, remember the end of your life, and then you will never sin. | Bei allem, was du tust, denk an das Ende, so wirst du niemals sündigen. | In tutte le tue opere ricordati della tua fine e non cadrai mai nel peccato. | و ابسط يدك للفقير لكي تكمل بركتك |
