28:2	Forgive your neighbor the wrong he has done, and then your sins will be pardoned when you pray.	Vergib deinem Nächsten das Unrecht, dann werden dir, wenn du betest, auch deine Sünden vergeben.	Perdona l'offesa al tuo prossimo e allora per la tua preghiera ti saranno rimessi i peccati.	اغفر لقريبك ظلمه لك فاذا تضرعت تمحى خطاياك
28:3	Does anyone harbor anger against another, and expect healing from the Lord?	Der Mensch verharrt im Zorn gegen den andern, vom Herrn aber sucht er Heilung zu erlangen?	Se qualcuno conserva la collera verso un altro uomo, come oserà chiedere la guarigione al Signore?	ايحقد انسان على انسان ثم يلتمس من الرب الشفاء
28:4	If one has no mercy toward another like himself, can he then seek pardon for his own sins?	Mit seinesgleichen hat er kein Erbarmen, aber wegen seiner eigenen Sünden bittet er um Gnade?	Egli non ha misericordia per l'uomo suo simile, e osa pregare per i suoi peccati?	ام لا يرحم انسانا مثله ثم يستغفر عن خطاياه
28:5	If a mere mortal harbors wrath, who will make an atoning sacrifice for his sins?	Obwohl er nur ein Wesen aus Fleisch ist, verharrt er im Groll, wer wird da seine Sünden vergeben?	Egli, che è soltanto carne, conserva rancore; chi perdonerà i suoi peccati?	ان امسك الحقد وهو بشر فمن يكفر خطاياه
28:6	Remember the end of your life, and set enmity aside; remember corruption and death, and be true to the commandments.	Denk an das Ende, lass ab von der Feindschaft, denk an Untergang und Tod und bleib den Geboten treu!	Ricòrdati della tua fine e smetti di odiare, ricòrdati della corruzione e della morte e resta fedele ai comandamenti.	اذكر اواخرك واكفف عن العدواة
28:7	Remember the commandments, and do not be angry with your neighbor; remember the covenant of the Most High, and overlook faults.	Denk an die Gebote und grolle dem Nächsten nicht, denk an den Bund des Höchsten und verzeih die Schuld!	Ricòrdati dei comandamenti e non aver rancore verso il prossimo, dell'alleanza con l'Altissimo e non far conto dell'offesa subìta.	اذكر الفساد والموت واثبت على الوصايا
28:8	Refrain from strife, and your sins will be fewer; for the hot-tempered kindle strife,	Bleib fern dem Streit, dann verringerst du die Zahl der Sünden; denn ein jähzorniger Mensch entfacht Streit.	Astieniti dalle risse e sarai lontano dal peccato, perché un uomo passionale attizza una rissa.	اذكر الوصايا ولا تحقد على القريب
28:9	and the sinner disrupts friendships and sows discord among those who are at peace.	Ein sündiger Mensch bringt Freunde durcheinander, zwischen friedliche Leute schleudert er Zwietracht.	Un uomo peccatore semina discordia tra gli amici e tra persone pacifiche diffonde calunnie.	اذكر ميثاق العلي واغض عن الجهالة
28:10	In proportion to the fuel, so will the fire burn, and in proportion to the obstinacy, so will strife increase; in proportion to a person's strength will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will increase his wrath.	Je nach dem Brennstoff flammt das Feuer auf, je nach dem Einfluss wächst der Streit. Je nach der Macht eines Menschen wütet sein Zorn, je nach dem Reichtum steigert er seine Wut.	Secondo la materia del fuoco, esso s'infiamma, una rissa divampa secondo la sua violenza; il furore di un uomo è proporzionato alla sua forza, la sua ira cresce in base alla sua ricchezza.	امسك عن النزاع فتقلل الخطايا
28:11	A hasty quarrel kindles a fire, and a hasty dispute sheds blood.	Ein schneller Funke entzündet das Feuer, ein schneller Streit führt zu Blutvergießen.	Una lite concitata accende il fuoco, una rissa violenta fa versare sangue.	فان الانسان الغضوب يضرم النزاع والرجل الخاطئ يبلبل الاصدقاء ويلقي الشقاق بين المسالمين
28:12	If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; yet both come out of your mouth.	Bläst du den Funken an, flammt er auf; spuckst du darauf, so erlischt er: Beides kommt aus deinem Mund.	Se soffi su una scintilla, si accende; se vi sputi sopra, si spegne; eppure ambedue le cose escono dalla tua bocca.	بحسب الحطب تضطرم النار وبحسب قوة الانسان يكون غيظه وبحسب غناه يثير غضبه وبحسب شدة النزاع يستشيط
28:13	Curse the gossips and the double-tongued, for they destroy the peace of many.	Der Verleumder sei verflucht; viele, die friedlich lebten, hat er zugrunde gerichtet.	Maledici il delatore e l'uomo di doppia lingua, perché fa perire molti che vivono in pace.	الخصومة عن عجلة تضرم النار والنزاع عن عجلة يسفك الدم
28:14	Slander has shaken many, and scattered them from nation to nation; it has destroyed strong cities, and overturned the houses of the great.	Der Verleumder hat schon viele zum Wanken gebracht und sie von Volk zu Volk getrieben; feste Städte hat er zerstört, Paläste von Großen umgestürzt.	Una lingua malèdica ha sconvolto molti, li ha scacciati di nazione in nazione; ha demolito forti città e ha rovinato casati potenti.	اذا نفخت في شرارة اضطرمت واذا تفلت عليها انطفات وكلاهما من فمك
28:15	Slander has driven virtuous women from their homes, and deprived them of the fruit of their toil.	Der Verleumder hat tüchtige Frauen weggejagt und sie des Ertrags ihrer Mühen beraubt.	Una lingua malèdica ha fatto ripudiare donne eccellenti, privandole del frutto delle loro fatiche.	النمام وذو اللسانين اهل للعنة لاهلاكهما كثيرين من اهل المسالمة
28:16	Those who pay heed to slander will not find rest, nor will they settle down in peace.	Wer auf ihn achtet, findet keine Ruhe, er kann nicht in Frieden wohnen.	Chi le presta attenzione non trova pace, dalla sua dimora scompare la serenità.	اللسان الثالث اقلق كثيرين وبددهم من امة الى امة
28:17	The blow of a whip raises a welt, but a blow of the tongue crushes the bones.	Peitschenhieb schlägt Striemen, Zungenhieb zerbricht Knochen.	Un colpo di frusta produce lividure, ma un colpo di lingua rompe le ossa.	و هدم مدنا محصنة وخرب بيوت العظماء
28:18	Many have fallen by the edge of the sword, but not as many as have fallen because of the tongue.	Viele sind gefallen durch ein scharfes Schwert, noch viel mehr sind gefallen durch die Zunge.	Molti sono caduti a fil di spada, ma non quanti sono periti per colpa della lingua.	و كسر جيوش الشعوب وافنى امما ذات اقتدار
28:19	Happy is the one who is protected from it, who has not been exposed to its anger, who has not borne its yoke, and has not been bound with its fetters.	Wohl dem, der vor ihr geschützt ist und ihrer Wut nicht anheimfällt, der nicht ihr Joch ziehen muss, nicht an ihre Stricke gebunden ist.	Beato chi se ne guarda, chi non è esposto al suo furore, chi non ha trascinato il suo giogo e non è stato legato con le sue catene.	اللسان الثالث طرد نساء فاضلات وسلبهن اتعابهن
28:20	For its yoke is a yoke of iron, and its fetters are fetters of bronze;	Denn ihr Joch ist ein eisernes Joch, ihre Stricke sind eherne Stricke.	Il suo giogo è un giogo di ferro; le sue catene catene di bronzo.	من اصغى اليه لا يجد راحة ولا يسكن مطمئنا
28:21	its death is an evil death, and Hades is preferable to it.	Der Tod durch sie ist ein schlimmer Tod, besser als sie ist die Unterwelt.	Spaventosa è la morte che procura, in confronto è preferibile la tomba.	ضربة السوط تبقي حبطا وضربة اللسان تحطم العظام
28:22	It has no power over the godly; they will not be burned in its flame.	Keine Macht hat sie über Fromme, sie werden nicht versengt durch ihre Flamme.	Essa non ha potere sugli uomini pii, questi non bruceranno alla sua fiamma.	كثيرون سقطوا بحد السيف لكنهم ليسوا كالساقطين بحد اللسان
28:23	Those who forsake the Lord will fall into its power; it will burn among them and will not be put out. It will be sent out against them like a lion; like a leopard it will mangle them.	Wer den Herrn verlässt, verfällt ihr, sie flammt an ihm auf und erlischt nicht mehr. Sie stürzt sich auf ihn wie ein Löwe, wie ein Panther zerreißt sie ihn.	Quanti abbandonano il Signore in essa cadranno, fra costoro divamperà senza spegnersi. Si avventerà contro di loro come un leone e come una pantera ne farà scempio.	طوبى لمن وقي شره ولم يعرض على غضبه ولم يحمل نيره ولم يوثق بقيوده
28:24	As you fence in your property with thorns, so make a door and a bolt for your mouth.	Schau, deinen Weinberg umzäunst du mit Dornen, mach auch Tür und Riegel an deinen Mund!	Ecco, recingi pure la tua proprietà con siepe spinosa, lega in un sacchetto l'argento e l'oro,	فان نيره نير من حديد وقيوده قيود من نحاس
28:25	As you lock up your silver and gold, so make balances and scales for your words.	Dein Silber und Gold verwahrst du abgewogen, mach auch für deine Worte Waage und Gewicht!	ma controlla anche le tue parole pesandole e chiudi con porte e catenaccio la bocca.	الموت به موت قاس والجحيم انفع منه
28:26	Take care not to err with your tongue, and fall victim to one lying in wait.	Hüte dich, dass du durch sie nicht strauchelst und nicht zu Fall kommst vor den Augen dessen, der darauf lauert.	Stà attento a non sbagliare a causa della lingua, perché tu non cada davanti a chi ti insidia.	لكنه لا يتسلط على الاتقياء ولا هم يحترقون بلهيبه
