3:1	Listen to me your father, O children; act accordingly, that you may be kept in safety.	Hört, ihr Söhne, was das Recht des Vaters ist, und handelt danach, damit es euch gut geht. 3:2	For the Lord honors a father above his children, and he confirms a mother's right over her children.	Denn der Herr hat den Kindern befohlen, ihren Vater zu ehren, und die Söhne verpflichtet, das Recht ihrer Mutter zu achten.	Il Signore vuole che il padre sia onorato dai figli, ha stabilito il diritto della madre sulla prole.	يا بني اسمعوا اقوال ابيكم واعملوا بها لكي تخلصوا
3:3	Those who honor their father atone for sins,	Wer den Vater ehrt, erlangt Verzeihung der Sünden,	Chi onora il padre espia i peccati;	فان الرب قد اكرم الاب في الاولاد واثبت حكم الام في البنين
3:4	and those who respect their mother are like those who lay up treasure.	und wer seine Mutter achtet, gleicht einem Menschen, der Schätze sammelt.	chi riverisce la madre è come chi accumula tesori.	من اكرم اباه فانه يكفر خطاياه ويمتنع عنها ويستجاب له في صلاة كل يوم
3:5	Those who honor their father will have joy in their own children, and when they pray they will be heard.	Wer den Vater ehrt, wird Freude haben an den eigenen Kindern, und wenn er betet, wird er Erhörung finden.	Chi onora il padre avrà gioia dai propri figli e sarà esaudito nel giorno della sua preghiera.	و من احترم امه فهو كمدخر الكنوز
3:6	Those who respect their father will have long life, and those who honor their mother obey the Lord;	Wer den Vater achtet, wird lange leben, und wer seiner Mutter Ehre erweist, der erweist sie dem Herrn.	Chi riverisce il padre vivrà a lungo; chi obbedisce al Signore dà consolazione alla madre.	من اكرم اباه سر باولاده وفي يوم صلاته يستجاب له
3:7	they will serve their parents as their masters.	Wer den Herrn fürchtet, ehrt seinen Vater und dient seinen Eltern wie Vorgesetzten.	Chi teme il Signore rispetta il padre e serve come padroni i genitori.	من احترم اباه طالت ايامه ومن اطاع اباه اراح امه
3:8	Honor your father by word and deed, that his blessing may come upon you.	Mein Sohn, ehre deinen Vater in Wort und Tat, damit aller Segen über dich kommt.	Onora tuo padre a fatti e a parole, perché scenda su di te la sua benedizione.	الذي يتقي الرب يكرم ابويه ويخدم والديه بمنزلة سيدين له
3:9	For a father's blessing strengthens the houses of the children, but a mother's curse uproots their foundations.	Der Segen des Vaters festigt die Wurzel, doch der Fluch der Mutter reißt die junge Pflanze aus.	La benedizione del padre consolida le case dei figli, la maledizione della madre ne scalza le fondamenta.	اكرم اباك بفعالك ومقالك بكل اناة
3:10	Do not glorify yourself by dishonoring your father, for your father's dishonor is no glory to you.	Such deinen Ruhm nicht darin, den Vater herabzusetzen, denn das ist keine Ehre für dich.	Non vantarti del disonore di tuo padre, perché il disonore del padre non è gloria per te;	لكي تحل عليك البركة منه وتبقى بركته الى المنتهى
3:11	The glory of one's father is one's own glory, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.	Die Ehre eines Menschen ist die seines Vaters; wer seine Mutter verachtet, sündigt schwer.	la gloria di un uomo dipende dall'onore del padre, vergogna per i figli è una madre nel disonore.	فان بركة الاب توطد بيوت البنين ولعنة الام تقلع اسسها
3:12	My child, help your father in his old age, and do not grieve him as long as he lives;	Mein Sohn, wenn dein Vater alt ist, nimm dich seiner an und betrübe ihn nicht, solange er lebt.	Figlio, soccorri tuo padre nella vecchiaia, non contristarlo durante la sua vita.	لا تفتخر بهوان ابيك فان هوان ابيك ليس فخرا لك
3:13	even if his mind fails, be patient with him; because you have all your faculties do not despise him.	Wenn sein Verstand abnimmt, sieh es ihm nach und beschäme ihn nicht in deiner Vollkraft!	Anche se perdesse il senno, compatiscilo e non disprezzarlo, mentre sei nel pieno vigore.	بل فخر الانسان بكرامة ابيه ومذلة الام عار للبنين
3:14	For kindness to a father will not be forgotten, and will be credited to you against your sins;	Denn die Liebe zum Vater wird nicht vergessen, sie wird als Sühne für deine Sünden eingetragen.	Poiché la pietà verso il padre non sarà dimenticata, ti sarà computata a sconto dei peccati.	يا بني اعن اباك في شيخوخته ولا تحزنه في حياته
3:15	in the day of your distress it will be remembered in your favor; like frost in fair weather, your sins will melt away.	Zur Zeit der Bedrängnis wird sie dir vergolten werden; sie lässt deine Sünden schmelzen wie Wärme den Reif.	Nel giorno della tua tribolazione Dio si ricorderà di te; come fa il calore sulla brina, si scioglieranno i tuoi peccati.	و ان ضعف عقله فاعذر ولا تهنه وانت في وفور قوتك فان الرحمة للوالد لا تنسى
3:16	Whoever forsakes a father is like a blasphemer, and whoever angers a mother is cursed by the Lord.	Wie ein Gotteslästerer handelt, wer seinen Vater im Stich lässt, und von Gott ist verflucht, wer seine Mutter kränkt.	Chi abbandona il padre è come un bestemmiatore, chi insulta la madre è maledetto dal Signore.	و باحتمالك هفوات امك تجزى خيرا
3:17	My child, perform your tasks with humility; then you will be loved by those whom God accepts.	Mein Sohn, bei all deinem Tun bleibe bescheiden und du wirst mehr geliebt werden als einer, der Gaben verteilt.	Figlio, nella tua attività sii modesto, sarai amato dall'uomo gradito a Dio.	و على برك يبنى لك بيت وتذكر يوم ضيقك وكالجليد في الصحو تحل خطاياك
3:18	The greater you are, the more you must humble yourself; so you will find favor in the sight of the Lord.	Je größer du bist, umso mehr bescheide dich, dann wirst du Gnade finden bei Gott.	Quanto più sei grande, tanto più umìliati; così troverai grazia davanti al Signore;	من خذل اباه فهو بمنزلة المجدف ومن غاظ امه فهو ملعون من الرب
3:19	Many are lofty and renowned, but to the humble he reveals his secrets.	[]	perché grande è la potenza del Signore	يا بني اقض اعمالك بالوداعة فيحبك الانسان الصالح
3:20	For great is the might of the Lord; but by the humble he is glorified.	Denn groß ist die Macht Gottes und von den Demütigen wird er verherrlicht.	e dagli umili egli è glorificato.	ازدد تواضعا ما ازددت عظمة فتنال حظوة لدى الرب
3:21	Neither seek what is too difficult for you, nor investigate what is beyond your power.	Such nicht zu ergründen, was dir zu wunderbar ist, untersuch nicht, was dir verhüllt ist.	Non cercare le cose troppo difficili per te, non indagare le cose per te troppo grandi.	لان قدرة الرب عظيمة وبالمتواضعين يمجد
3:22	Reflect upon what you have been commanded, for what is hidden is not your concern.	Was dir zugewiesen ist, magst du durchforschen, doch das Verborgene hast du nicht nötig.	Bada a quello che ti è stato comandato, poiché tu non devi occuparti delle cose misteriose.	لا تطلب ما يعييك نيله ولا تبحث عما يتجاوز قدرتك لكن ما امرك الله به فيه تامل ولا ترغب في استقصاء اعماله الكثيرة
3:23	Do not meddle in matters that are beyond you, for more than you can understand has been shown you.	Such nicht hartnäckig zu erfahren, was deine Kraft übersteigt. Es ist schon zu viel, was du sehen darfst.	Non sforzarti in ciò che trascende le tue capacità, poiché ti è stato mostrato più di quanto comprende un'intelligenza umana.	فانه لا حاجة لك ان ترى المغيبات بعينيك
3:24	For their conceit has led many astray, and wrong opinion has impaired their judgment.	Vielfältig sind die Gedanken der Menschen, schlimmer Wahn führt in die Irre.	Molti ha fatto smarrire la loro presunzione, una misera illusione ha fuorviato i loro pensieri.	و ما جاوز اعمالك فلا تكثر الاهتمام به
3:25	Without eyes there is no light; without knowledge there is no wisdom.	[Wer kein Auge hat, dem fehlt das Licht, wer keine Einsicht hat, dem fehlt die Weisheit.]	Un cuore ostinato alla fine cadrà nel male; chi ama il pericolo in esso si perderà.	فانك قد اطلعت على اشياء كثيرة تفوق ادراك الانسان
3:26	A stubborn mind will fare badly at the end, and whoever loves danger will perish in it.	Ein trotziges Herz nimmt ein böses Ende, wer aber das Gute liebt, den wird es geleiten.	Un cuore ostinato sarà oppresso da affanni, il peccatore aggiungerà peccato a peccato.	و ان كثيرين قد اضلهم زعمهم وازل عقولهم وهمهم الفاسد
3:27	A stubborn mind will be burdened by troubles, and the sinner adds sin to sins.	Ein trotziges Herz schafft sich viel Leid und der Frevler häuft Sünde auf Sünde.	La sventura non guarisce il superbo, perché la pianta del male si è radicata in lui.	القلب القاسي عاقبته السوء والذي يحب الخطر يسقط فيه
3:28	When calamity befalls the proud, there is no healing, for an evil plant has taken root in him.	Für die Wunde des Übermütigen gibt es keine Heilung, denn ein giftiges Kraut hat in ihm seine Wurzeln.	Una mente saggia medita le parabole, un orecchio attento è quanto desidera il saggio.	القلب الساعي في طريقين لا ينجح والفاسد القلب يعثر فيهما
3:29	The mind of the intelligent appreciates proverbs, and an attentive ear is the desire of the wise.	Ein weises Herz versteht die Sinnsprüche [der Weisen], ein Ohr, das auf die Weisheit hört, macht Freude.	L'acqua spegne un fuoco acceso, l'elemosina espia i peccati.	القلب القاسي يثقل بالمشقات والخاطئ يزيد خطيئة على خطيئة
3:30	As water extinguishes a blazing fire, so almsgiving atones for sin.	Wie Wasser loderndes Feuer löscht, so sühnt Mildtätigkeit Sünde.	Chi ricambia il bene provvede all'avvenire, al momento della sua caduta troverà un sostegno.	داء المتكبر لا دواء له لان جرثومة الشر قد تاصلت فيه
3:31	Those who repay favors give thought to the future; when they fall they will find support.	Wer Gutes tut, dem begegnet es auf seinen Wegen, sobald er wankt, findet er eine Stütze.		قلب العاقل يتامل في المثل ومنية الحكيم اذن سامعة
