| 10:7 | Arrogance is hateful to the Lord and to mortals, and injustice is outrageous to both. | Dem Herrn und den Menschen ist Übermut verhasst, Unterdrückung gilt bei beiden als Untat. | Odiosa al Signore e agli uomini è la superbia, all'uno e agli altri è in abominio l'ingiustizia. | الكبرياء ممقوتة عند الرب والناس وشانها ارتكاب الاثم امام الفريقين | |||||||||||

| 10:10 | A long illness baffles the physician; the king of today will die tomorrow. | Ein wenig Krankheit bringt den Arzt in Erregung: Heute König, morgen tot! | La malattia è lunga, il medico se la ride; chi oggi è re, domani morirà. | لا احد اكبر اثما ممن يحب المال لان ذاك يجعل نفسه ايضا سلعة وقد اطرح احشاءه مدة حياته | |||||||||||

| 10:13 | For the beginning of pride is sin, and the one who clings to it pours out abominations. Therefore the Lord brings upon them unheard-of calamities, and destroys them completely. | Ein See der Maßlosigkeit ist die Sünde, aus ihr quillt Unrecht hervor. Darum wirkt Gott Wunder und Plagen und schlägt den Sünder bis zur Vernichtung. | Principio della superbia infatti è il peccato; chi vi si abbandona diffonde intorno a sé l'abominio.
