48:2	He brought a famine upon them, and by his zeal he made them few in number.	Er entzog ihnen ihren Vorrat an Brot, durch sein Eifern verringerte er ihre Zahl.	Egli fece venire su di loro la carestia e con zelo li ridusse a pochi.	بعث عليهم الجوع وبغيرته ردهم نفرا قليلا
48:3	By the word of the Lord he shut up the heavens, and also three times brought down fire.	Auf Gottes Wort hin verschloss er den Himmel und dreimal ließ er Feuer herniederfallen.	Per comando del Signore chiuse il cielo, fece scendere così tre volte il fuoco.	اغلق السماء بكلام الرب وانزل منها نارا ثلاث مرات
48:4	How glorious you were, Elijah, in your wondrous deeds! Whose glory is equal to yours?	Wie Ehrfurcht gebietend warst du, Elija, wer dir gleichkommt, kann sich rühmen.	Come ti rendesti famoso, Elia, con i prodigi! E chi può vantarsi di esserti uguale?	ما اعظم مجدك يا ايليا بعجائبك ومن له فخر كفخرك
48:5	You raised a corpse from death and from Hades, by the word of the Most High.	Einen Verstorbenen hast du vom Tod erweckt, aus der Unterwelt, nach Gottes Willen.	Risvegliasti un defunto dalla morte e dagli inferi, per comando dell'Altissimo;	انت الذي اقمت ميتا من الموت ومن الجحيم بكلام العلي
48:6	You sent kings down to destruction, and famous men, from their sickbeds.	Könige hast du ins Grab geschickt, Vornehme von ihren Lagern hinweg.	tu che spingesti re alla rovina, uomini gloriosi dal loro letto.	و اهبطت الملوك الى الهلاك والمفتخرين من اسرتهم
48:7	You heard rebuke at Sinai and judgments of vengeance at Horeb.	Am Sinai hast du Strafbefehle vernommen, am Horeb Urteile der Rache.	Sentisti sul Sinai rimproveri, sull'Oreb sentenze di vendetta.	و سمعت في سيناء القضاء وفي حوريب احكام الانتقام
48:8	You anointed kings to inflict retribution, and prophets to succeed you.	Könige hast du gesalbt für die Vergeltung und einen Propheten als deinen Nachfolger.	Ungesti re come vindici e profeti come tuoi successori.	و مسحت ملوكا للنقمة وانبياء خلائف لك
48:9	You were taken up by a whirlwind of fire, in a chariot with horses of fire.	Du wurdest im Wirbelsturm nach oben entrückt, in Feuermassen himmelwärts.	Fosti assunto in un turbine di fuoco su un carro di cavalli di fuoco,	و خطفت في عاصفة من النار في مركبة خيل نارية
48:10	At the appointed time, it is written, you are destined to calm the wrath of God before it breaks out in fury, to turn the hearts of parents to their children, and to restore the tribes of Jacob.	Von dir sagt die Schrift, du stehst bereit für die Endzeit, um den Zorn zu beschwichtigen, bevor er entbrennt, um den Söhnen das Herz der Väter zuzuwenden und Jakobs Stämme wieder aufzurichten.	designato a rimproverare i tempi futuri per placare l'ira prima che divampi, per ricondurre il cuore dei padri verso i figli e ristabilire le tribù di Giacobbe.	و قد اكتتبك الرب لاقضية تجرى في اوقاتها ولتسكين الغضب قبل حدته ورد قلب الاب الى الابن واصلاح اسباط يعقوب
48:11	Happy are those who saw you and were adorned with your love! For we also shall surely live.	Wohl dem, der dich sieht und stirbt; denn auch er wird leben.	Beati coloro che ti videro e che si sono addormentati nell'amore! Perché anche noi vivremo certamente.	طوبى لمن عاينك ولمن حاز فخر مصافاتك
48:12	When Elijah was enveloped in the whirlwind, Elisha was filled with his spirit. He performed twice as many signs, and marvels with every utterance of his mouth. Never in his lifetime did he tremble before any ruler, nor could anyone intimidate him at all	Elija ist im Wirbelsturm entschwunden, Elischa wurde mit seinem Geist erfüllt. Doppelt so viele Zeichen wirkte er, zu Wundern wurden alle Worte aus seinem Mund.Solange er lebte, hat er vor niemand gezittert, kein Sterblicher hatte Macht über seinen Geist.	Appena Elia fu avvolto dal turbine, Eliseo fu pieno del suo spirito; durante la sua vita non tremò davanti ai potenti e nessuno riuscì a dominarlo.	انا نحيا هذه الحياة وبعد الموت لا يكون لنا مثل هذا الاسم
48:13	Nothing was too hard for him, and when he was dead, his body prophesied.	Nichts war für ihn unerreichbar, noch im Grab zeigte sein Leichnam Prophetenkraft.	Nulla fu troppo grande per lui; nel sepolcro il suo corpo profetizzò.	و توارى ايليا في العاصفة فامتلا اليشاع من روحه وفي ايامه لم يتزعزع مخافة من ذي سلطان ولم يستول عليه احد
48:14	In his life he did wonders, and in death his deeds were marvelous.	In seinem Leben vollbrachte er Wunder und bei seinem Tod erstaunliche Taten.	Nella sua vita compì prodigi e dopo la morte meravigliose furono le sue opere.	لم يغلبه كلام وفي رقاد الموت جسده تنبا
48:15	Despite all this the people did not repent, nor did they forsake their sins, until they were carried off as plunder from their land, and were scattered over all the earth. The people were left very few in number, but with a ruler from the house of David.	Trotz allem bekehrte das Volk sich nicht; sie ließen nicht ab von ihren Sünden, bis sie aus ihrem Land verschleppt und in alle Welt verstreut wurden. Aber für Juda ist ein kleiner Rest geblieben und dem Haus David noch ein Fürst.	Con tutto ciò il popolo non si convertì e non rinnegò i suoi peccati, finché non fu deportato dal proprio paese e disperso su tutta la terra.	صنع في حياته الايات وبعد موته الاعمال العجيبة
48:16	Some of them did what was right, but others sinned more and more.	Von ihnen taten einige, was recht ist, andere verübten unerhörten Frevel.	Rimase soltanto un popolo poco numeroso con un principe della casa di Davide. Alcuni di costoro fecero ciò che è gradito a Dio, ma altri moltiplicarono i peccati.	و مع هذه كلها لم يتب الشعب ولم يقلعوا عن الخطايا الى ان طردوا من ارضهم وتبددوا في كل الارض
48:17	Hezekiah fortified his city, and brought water into its midst; he tunneled the rock with iron tools, and built cisterns for the water.	Hiskija sicherte seine Stadt, indem er Wasser hineinleitete. Mit dem Eisen durchbrach er Felsen und dämmte den Teich zwischen Bergen ein.	Ezechia fortificò la sua città e condusse l'acqua nel suo interno; scavò con il ferro un canale nella roccia e costruì cisterne per l'acqua.	و ابقى شعب قليل ورؤساء لبيت داود
48:18	In his days Sennacherib invaded the country; he sent his commander and departed; he shook his fist against Zion, and made great boasts in his arrogance.	In seinen Tagen zog Sanherib herauf und entsandte den Rabschake. Dieser streckte seine Hand gegen Zion aus und übermütig lästerte er Gott.	Nei suoi giorni Sennàcherib fece una spedizione e mandò il gran coppiere; egli alzò la mano contro Sion e si vantò spavaldamente con superbia.	بعضهم صنعوا المرضي وبعضهم اكثروا من الخطايا
48:19	Then their hearts were shaken and their hands trembled, and they were in anguish, like women in labor.	Da zitterten sie trotz allem Übermut ihres Herzens und wanden sich wie eine Gebärende.	Allora si agitarono loro il cuore e le mani, soffrirono come le partorienti.	حزقيا حصن مدينته وادخل اليها ماء جيحون حفر الصخر بالحديد وبنى ابارا للماء
48:20	But they called upon the Lord who is merciful, spreading out their hands toward him. The Holy One quickly heard them from heaven, and delivered them through Isaiah.	Sie riefen zu Gott, dem Höchsten, und streckten nach ihm die Hände aus. Er hörte auf ihr lautes Flehen und half ihnen durch Jesaja.	Invocarono il Signore misericordioso, stendendo le mani verso di lui. Il Santo li ascoltò subito dal cielo e li liberò per mezzo di Isaia.	في ايامه صعد سنحاريب وبعث ربشاقا فاقبل ورفع يده على صهيون وتنفخ بكبريائه
48:21	The Lord struck down the camp of the Assyrians, and his angel wiped them out.	Er schlug die Assyrer in ihrem Lager und verwirrte sie durch eine Seuche.	Egli colpì l'accampamento degli Assiri, e il suo angelo li sterminò,	حينئذ ارتجفت قلوبهم وايديهم وتمخضوا كالوالدات
48:22	For Hezekiah did what was pleasing to the Lord, and he kept firmly to the ways of his ancestor David, as he was commanded by the prophet Isaiah, who was great and trustworthy in his visions.	Denn Hiskija hatte das Rechte getan, war fest geblieben auf Davids Wegen, die der Prophet Jesaja ihm gewiesen hatte, der große und zuverlässige Seher.	perché Ezechia aveva fatto quanto è gradito al Signore, e seguito con fermezza le vie di Davide suo antenato, come gli additava il profeta Isaia, grande e verace nella visione.	فدعوا الرب الرحيم باسطين اليه ايديهم فالقدوس من السماء استجاب لهم سريعا
48:23	In Isaiah's days the sun went backward, and he prolonged the life of the king.	Auf Jesajas Befehl ging die Sonne zurück und er verlängerte dem König das Leben.	Nei suoi giorni retrocedette il sole, egli prolungò la vita del re.	و افتداهم على يد اشعيا
48:24	By his dauntless spirit he saw the future, and comforted the mourners in Zion.	Mit großer Geisteskraft schaute er die Zukunft und tröstete die Trauernden in Zion.	Con grande ispirazione vide gli ultimi tempi, e consolò gli afflitti di Sion.	ضرب محلة اشور وملاكه حطمهم
48:25	He revealed what was to occur to the end of time, and the hidden things before they happened.	Für fernste Zeit verkündete er das Kommende und das Verborgene, bevor es geschah.	Egli manifestò il futuro sino alla fine dei tempi, le cose nascoste prima che avvenissero.	لان حزقيا صنع المرضي امام الرب وجد في السلوك في طرق داود ابيه التي اوصاه بها اشعيا النبي العظيم الصادق في رؤياه
