23:2	Who will set whips over my thoughts, and the discipline of wisdom over my mind, so as not to spare me in my errors, and not overlook my sins?		Wer hält eine Peitsche bereit für mein Denken und eine Zuchtrute für mein Herz, um ihre Vergehen nicht zu schonen und ihnen keine Sünden zu gestatten,	Chi applicherà la frusta ai miei pensieri, al mio cuore la disciplina della sapienza? Perché non siano risparmiati i miei errori e i miei peccati non restino impuniti,	من ياخذ افكاري بالسياط وقلبي بتاديب الحكمة بحيث لا يشفق على جهالاتي ولا تهمل خطاياي
23:3	Otherwise my mistakes may be multiplied, and my sins may abound, and I may fall before my adversaries, and my enemy may rejoice over me.		damit meine Fehler sich nicht mehren, meine Sünden sich nicht häufen und ich nicht zu Fall komme vor meinen Feinden, sodass mein Gegner sich über mich freuen könnte?	perché non si moltiplichino i miei errori e non aumentino di numero i miei peccati, io non cada davanti ai miei avversari e il nemico non gioisca sul mio conto.	لكي لا تتكاثر جهالاتي وتتوافر خطاياي فاسقط تجاه اضدادي ويشمت عدوي بي
23:4	O Lord, Father and God of my life, do not give me haughty eyes,		Herr, Vater und Gott meines Lebens, überlass mich nicht ihrem Plan!	Signore, padre e Dio della mia vita, non mettermi in balìa di sguardi sfrontati	ايها الرب الاب يا اله حياتي لا تتركني ومشورة شفتاي
23:5	and remove evil desire from me.		Übermütige Augen gib mir nicht, halte fern von mir die Begierde!	e allontana da me la concupiscenza.	لا تدعني اطمح بعيني والهوى اصرفه عني
23:6	Let neither gluttony nor lust overcome me, and do not give me over to shameless passion.		Unzucht und Sinnenlust sollen mich nicht ergreifen, schamloser Gier gib mich nicht preis!	Sensualità e libidine non s'impadroniscano di me; a desideri vergognosi non mi abbandonare.	لا تملكني شهوة البطن ولا الزنى ولا تسلمني الى نفس وقحة
23:7	Listen, my children, to instruction concerning the mouth; the one who observes it will never be caught.	ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲣⲱⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϫⲉⲙⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲟⲧⲟⲩ	Ihr Söhne, vernehmt die Unterweisung über das Reden; wer sie beachtet, verfehlt sich nicht.	Figli, ascoltate l'educazione della bocca, chi l'osserva non si perderà.	ايها البنون دونكم ادب الفم فان من يحفظه لا يؤخذ بشفتيه
23:8	Sinners are overtaken through their lips; by them the reviler and the arrogant are tripped up.	ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓϭⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲉⲣⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ	Durch seine Lippen verstrickt sich der Sünder, Lästerer und Stolze stürzen durch sie.	Il peccatore è vittima delle proprie labbra, il maldicente e il superbo vi trovano inciampo.	انه بهما يصطاد الخاطئ وبهما يعثر القاذف والمتكبر
23:9	Do not accustom your mouth to oaths, nor habitually utter the name of the Holy One;	ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲣⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲱⲣⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ	Gewöhn deinen Mund nicht ans Schwören, den Namen des Heiligen zu nennen, gewöhn dir nicht an!	Non abituare la bocca al giuramento, non abituarti a nominare il nome del Santo.	لا تعود فاك الحلف
23:10	for as a servant who is constantly under scrutiny will not lack bruises, so also the person who always swears and utters the Name will never be cleansed from sin.	ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲩϣⲉⲛϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲉⲣⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ϣⲁϣ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲱⲣⲕ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϣⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲛⲟⲃⲓ	Wie ein Sklave, der dauernd straffällig wird, von Striemen nie frei bleibt, so bleibt von Sünde nicht rein, wer immerfort schwört und Gottes Namen ausspricht.	Come uno schiavo interrogato di continuo non sarà senza lividure, così chi giura e ha sempre in bocca Dio non sarà esente da peccato.	و لا تالف تسمية القدوس
23:11	The one who swears many oaths is full of iniquity, and the scourge will not leave his house. If he swears in error, his sin remains on him, and if he disregards it, he sins doubly; if he swears a false oath, he will not be justified, for his house will be	ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲱⲣⲕ ϥⲛⲁⲙⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲥ ⲭⲁ ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ	Ein Mensch, der viel schwört, häuft Schuld auf sich, die Strafrute weicht nicht von seinem Haus. Verfehlt er sich unbedacht, lastet seine Sünde auf ihm; übersieht er den Schwur, sündigt er doppelt, schwört er falsch, bleibt er nicht ungestraft; ja, sein Haus wird von Leiden erfüllt.	Un uomo dai molti giuramenti si riempie di iniquità; il flagello non si allontanerà dalla sua casa. Se cade in fallo, il suo peccato è su di lui; se non ne tiene conto, pecca due volte. Se giura il falso non sarà giustificato, la sua casa si riempirà di sventure.	فانه كما ان العبد الذي لا يزال يفحص لا يخلو من الحبط كذلك من لم يبرح يحلف ويسمي لا يتزكى
23:12	There is a manner of speaking comparable to death; may it never be found in the inheritance of Jacob! Such conduct will be far from the godly, and they will not wallow in sins.	ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ϩⲑⲏϥ ⲡⲉϥⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲃϣϥ ⲁ ⲡⲉϥⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲣ ⲃ̅	Es gibt ein Reden, das der Pest vergleichbar ist; möge es sich im Erbland Jakobs nicht finden. Den Frommen liegt dies alles fern, sie wälzen sich nicht in Sünden.	C'è un modo di parlare che si può paragonare alla morte; non si trovi nella discendenza di Giacobbe. Dagli uomini pii tutto ciò sia respinto, così non si rotoleranno nei peccati.	الرجل الحلاف يمتلئ اثما ولا يبرح السوط من بيته
23:13	Do not accustom your mouth to coarse, foul language, for it involves sinful speech.	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲱⲣⲕ ⲉ̀ⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲑⲙⲁⲓⲟ ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲙⲟϩ ⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲕⲟ	Gewöhn deinen Mund nicht an Zuchtlosigkeit; denn es kommt dabei zu sündhaften Reden.	La tua bocca non si abitui a volgarità grossolane, in esse infatti c'è motivo di peccato.	و هو ان لم يف فعليه خطيئة وان استخف فخطيئته مضاعفة
23:14	Remember your father and mother when you sit among the great, or you may forget yourself in their presence, and behave like a fool through bad habit; then you will wish that you had never been born, and you will curse the day of your birth.	ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱⲗϫ ⲉ̀ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϫⲉⲙϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉⲙⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ	Denk an Vater und Mutter, wenn du im Kreis der Großen sitzt, damit du bei ihnen keinen Anstoß erregst und nicht durch dein Benehmen dich zum Toren machst und wünschen musst, nicht geboren zu sein, und den Tag deiner Geburt verfluchst.	Ricorda tuo padre e tua madre, quando siedi tra i grandi, non dimenticarli mai davanti a costoro, e per abitudine non dire sciocchezze; potresti desiderare di non essere nato e maledire il giorno della tua nascita.	و ان حلف باطلا لا يبرر وبيته يملا نوائب
23:15	Those who are accustomed to using abusive language will never become disciplined as long as they live.	ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲣⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲥⲃⲱ ⲉ̀ⲥϩⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ	Hat sich einer an schändliche Reden gewöhnt, nimmt er sein Leben lang keine Zucht mehr an.	Un uomo abituato a discorsi ingiuriosi non si correggerà in tutta la sua vita.	و من الكلام كلام اخر يلابسه الموت لا كان في ميراث يعقوب
23:16	Two kinds of individuals multiply sins, and a third incurs wrath. Hot passion that blazes like a fire will not be quenched until it burns itself out; one who commits fornication with his near of kin will never cease until the fire burns him up.	ⲁⲣⲓⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲁⲩ ⲭⲛⲁⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲙⲏϯ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ	Zwei Gruppen von Menschen häufen die Sünden, drei ziehen den Zorn herbei: Leidenschaftliche Begierde, sie brennt wie Feuer und erlischt nicht, bis sie sich verzehrt hat;der Mensch, der am eigenen Leib Unzucht treibt und nicht aufhört, bis das Feuer verglüht;	Due specie di colpe moltiplicano i peccati, la terza provoca l'ira:	ان هذه كلها تبعد عن الاتقياء فلا يتمرغون في الخطايا
23:17	To a fornicator all bread is sweet; he will never weary until he dies.	ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲙⲑⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲣⲥⲟϫ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲧⲁⲡⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⲉⲛⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲫⲟⲕ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲥϩⲟⲩⲉⲣ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲁⲥⲕ	der Wollüstige, dem jedes Brot süß schmeckt, der nicht aufhört, bis er tot ist;	una passione ardente come fuoco acceso non si calmerà finché non sarà consumata; un uomo impudico nel suo corpo non smetterà finché non lo divori il fuoco; per l'uomo impuro ogni pane è appetitoso, non si stancherà finché non muoia.	لا تعود فاك فحش الكلام فان ذلك لا يخلو من خطيئة
23:18	The one who sins against his marriage bed says to himself, Who can see me? Darkness surrounds me, the walls hide me, and no one sees me. Why should I worry? The Most High will not remember sins.		der Mensch, der Ehebruch treibt auf seinem Lager, der bei sich denkt: Wer sieht mich?Dunkel umgibt mich, Wände verbergen mich, keiner sieht mich, warum sollte ich mich fürchten zu sündigen?	L'uomo infedele al proprio letto dice fra sé: «Chi mi vede? Tenebra intorno a me e le mura mi nascondono; nessuno mi vede, che devo temere? Dei miei peccati non si ricorderà l'Altissimo».	تذكر اباك وامك اذا جلست بين العظماء
23:19	His fear is confined to human eyes and he does not realize that the eyes of the Lord are ten thousand times brighter than the sun; they look upon every aspect of human behavior and see into hidden corners.		Er denkt nicht an den Höchsten, nur die Augen der Menschen fürchtet er. Er bedenkt nicht, dass die Augen des Herrn zehntausendmal heller sind als die Sonne, dass sie alle Wege des Menschen sehen und die geheimsten Winkel durchdringen.	Il suo timore riguarda solo gli occhi degli uomini; non sa che gli occhi del Signore sono miriadi di volte più luminosi del sole; essi vedono tutte le azioni degli uomini e penetrano fin nei luoghi più segreti.	لئلا تنساهما امامهم ويسفهك تعود معاشرتهم فتود لو لم تولد منهما وتلعن يوم ولادتك
23:20	Before the universe was created, it was known to him, and so it is since its completion.		Schon ehe es geschieht, ist ihm alles bekannt, ebenso, wenn es vollbracht ist.	Tutte le cose, prima che fossero create, gli erano note; allo stesso modo anche dopo la creazione.	من تعود كلام الشتيمة لا يتادب طول ايامه
23:21	This man will be punished in the streets of the city, and where he least suspects it, he will be seized.		Jener wird auf den Straßen der Stadt verurteilt; wo er es nicht vermutet, da wird er ergriffen.	Quest'uomo sarà punito nelle piazze della città, sarà preso dove meno se l'aspetta.	من الناس صنفان يكثران من الخطايا وصنف ثالث يجلب الغضب
23:22	So it is with a woman who leaves her husband and presents him with an heir by another man.		So auch die Frau, die ihren Mann verlässt und von einem andern einen Erben zur Welt bringt:	Così della donna che abbandona suo marito, e gli presenta eredi avuti da un estraneo.	النفس المتوهجة كنار ملتهبة فلا تنطفئ الى ان تفنى
23:23	For first of all, she has disobeyed the law of the Most High; second, she has committed an offense against her husband; and third, through her fornication she has committed adultery and brought forth children by another man.		Erstens war sie dem Gesetz des Höchsten untreu, zweitens hat sie sich gegen ihren Gatten vergangen, drittens hat sie in Unzucht die Ehe gebrochen und von einem andern Kinder zur Welt gebracht.	Prima di tutto ha disobbedito alle leggi dell'Altissimo, in secondo luogo ha commesso un torto verso il marito, in terzo luogo si è macchiata di adulterio e ha introdotto in casa figli di un estraneo.	و الانسان الزاني بنجاسة لحمه فلا يكف الى ان يوقد النار
23:24	She herself will be brought before the assembly, and her punishment will extend to her children.		Sie wird vor die Gemeinde geführt und ihre Kinder werden es büßen müssen.	Costei sarà trascinata davanti all'assemblea e si procederà a un'inchiesta sui suoi figli.	لان الانسان الزاني كل خبز يحلو له فلا يكل الى ان يفرغ
23:25	Her children will not take root, and her branches will not bear fruit.		Ihre Sprösslinge werden keine Wurzel treiben und ihre Zweige keine Frucht bringen.	I suoi figli non avranno radici, i suoi rami non porteranno frutto.	و الانسان الذي يتعدى على فراشه قائلا في نفسه من يراني
23:26	She will leave behind an accursed memory and her disgrace will never be blotted out.		Ihr Andenken hinterlässt sie zum Fluch, ihre Schande wird niemals getilgt.	Lascerà il suo ricordo in maledizione, la sua infamia non sarà cancellata.	حولي الظلمة والحيطان تسترني ولا احد يراني فماذا اخشى ان العلي لا يذكر خطاياي
23:27	Those who survive her will recognize that nothing is better than the fear of the Lord, and nothing sweeter than to heed the commandments of the Lord.		Alle Bewohner des Landes werden erkennen, alle Nachkommen werden einsehen: Nichts ist besser als die Furcht vor dem Herrn, nichts süßer, als seine Gebote zu halten.	I superstiti sapranno che nulla è meglio del timore del Signore, nulla più dolce dell'osservare i suoi comandamenti.	و هو انما يخاف من عيون البشر
