13:1	There was a man living in Babylon whose name was Joakim.	Ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲃⲁⲃⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ.
13:2	He married the daughter of Hilkiah, named Susanna, a very beautiful woman and one who feared the Lord.	Ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲭⲁⲗⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙ̀Ⲫϯ.
13:3	Her parents were righteous, and had trained their daughter according to the law of Moses.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲥⲓⲟϯ ⲛⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲒ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯⲥ̀ⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲙ̀Ⲙⲱⲩ̀ⲥⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ.
13:4	Joakim was very rich, and had a fine garden adjoining his house; the Jews used to come to him because he was the most honored of them all.	Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ̀ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲑⲟⲩⲟϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲛⲁϥⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
13:5	That year two elders from the people were appointed as judges. Concerning them the Lord had said: Wickedness came forth from Babylon, from elders who were judges, who were supposed to govern the people.	Ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲏⲃ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ Ⲃⲁⲃⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲕ̀ⲣⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲉⲣϩⲉⲙⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
13:6	These men were frequently at Joakim's house, and all who had a case to be tried came to them there.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ϣⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑϭⲓϩⲁⲡ.
13:7	When the people left at noon, Susanna would go into her husband's garden to walk.	Ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲁϣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲉⲥⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ.
13:8	Every day the two elders used to see her, going in and walking about, and they began to lust for her.	Ⲛⲁⲩϯⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲧⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲥⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ̀.
13:9	They suppressed their consciences and turned away their eyes from looking to Heaven or remembering their duty to administer justice.	Ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲉ̀ϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛϩⲁⲡ ⲛ̀ⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲓ.
13:10	Both were overwhelmed with passion for her, but they did not tell each other of their distress,	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲃ̅ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ.
13:11	for they were ashamed to disclose their lustful desire to seduce her.	Ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲃ̅ ⲡⲉ.
13:12	Day after day they watched eagerly to see her.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯϩ̀ⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲓ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ.
13:13	One day they said to each other, Let us go home, for it is time for lunch. So they both left and parted from each other.	ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϣⲉⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲫ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲡⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ.
13:14	But turning back, they met again; and when each pressed the other for the reason, they confessed their lust. Then together they arranged for a time when they could find her alone.	Ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϯⲉ̀ⲧⲓⲁ̀ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩϯⲛⲉⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϫⲉⲙⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲥ.
13:15	Once, while they were watching for an opportune day, she went in as before with only two maids, and wished to bathe in the garden, for it was a hot day.	Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥϩⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲅ̅ ⲙ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲁ̀ⲗⲟⲩ ⲥ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲣⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲕⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁⲩⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ.
13:16	No one was there except the two elders, who had hidden themselves and were watching her.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ϩ̀ⲗⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ⲉⲩⲭⲏⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲉ.
13:17	She said to her maids, Bring me olive oil and ointments, and shut the garden doors so that I can bathe.	Ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲥⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ ϫⲉ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲥⲙⲏⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲙⲁϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁϫⲱⲕⲉⲙ.
13:18	They did as she told them: they shut the doors of the garden and went out by the side doors to bring what they had been commanded; they did not see the elders, because they were hiding.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲥϫⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲙⲁϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲟ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲓ̀ⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲥⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲃ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲛⲁⲩⲭⲏⲡ ⲡⲉ.
13:19	When the maids had gone out, the two elders got up and ran to her.	Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ⲁⲩϭⲟϫⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ.
13:20	They said, Look, the garden doors are shut, and no one can see us. We are burning with desire for you; so give your consent, and lie with us.	Ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲥⲉϣⲟⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ϩ̀ⲗⲓ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ̀ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲧⲟϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ.
13:21	If you refuse, we will testify against you that a young man was with you, and this was why you sent your maids away.	Ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϧⲁⲣⲟ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϧⲉⲗϣⲓⲣⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲁⲣⲟ.
13:22	Susanna groaned and said, I am completely trapped. For if I do this, it will mean death for me; if I do not, I cannot escape your hands.	Ⲁⲥϥⲓⲁ̀ϩⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ϯϩⲉϫϩⲱϫ ⲙ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲥⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲉⲣ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲓϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲁⲓϥ ⲟⲛ ϯⲛⲁϣ̀ⲫⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲓϫ.
13:23	I choose not to do it; I will fall into your hands, rather than sin in the sight of the Lord.	Ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲁⲓϥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲟⲩⲱ̀ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀Ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.
13:24	Then Susanna cried out with a loud voice, and the two elders shouted against her.	Ⲁⲥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲙ̀ⲑⲟ.
13:25	And one of them ran and opened the garden doors.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ.
13:26	When the people in the house heard the shouting in the garden, they rushed in at the side door to see what had happened to her.	Ϩⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓϧ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲓ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.
13:27	And when the elders told their story, the servants felt very much ashamed, for nothing like this had ever been said about Susanna.	Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲩϣ̀ⲫⲓⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲉ̀ⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ϧⲁ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ.
13:28	The next day, when the people gathered at the house of her husband Joakim, the two elders came, full of their wicked plot to have Susanna put to death. In the presence of the people they said,	Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϩⲁ Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ̀ ϧⲁ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛϧⲟⲑⲃⲉⲥ.
13:29	Send for Susanna daughter of Hilkiah, the wife of Joakim.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲭⲁⲗⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲧ̀ⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ ⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ.
13:30	So they sent for her. And she came with her parents, her children, and all her relatives.	Ⲁⲥⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥⲓⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
13:31	Now Susanna was a woman of great refinement and beautiful in appearance.	Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲓⲏ ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲥⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲧⲉ.
13:32	As she was veiled, the scoundrels ordered her to be unveiled, so that they might feast their eyes on her beauty.	Ⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲕⲉⲗⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲃⲁϣ ϫⲱⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ϫⲱⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲟⲃⲥ ⲡⲉ ϩⲟⲡⲱⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲥⲁⲓ.
13:33	Those who were with her and all who saw her were weeping.	Ⲛⲁⲩⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲏⲡ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
13:34	Then the two elders stood up before the people and laid their hands on her head.	Ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑ̀ⲙⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲁ̀ⲫⲉ.
13:35	Through her tears she looked up toward Heaven, for her heart trusted in the Lord.	Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲥϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲒ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲉϩ ⲉ̀Ⲫϯ ⲡⲉ.
13:36	The elders said, While we were walking in the garden alone, this woman came in with two maids, shut the garden doors, and dismissed the maids.	Ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲥ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲁϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ.
13:37	Then a young man, who was hiding there, came to her and lay with her.	Ⲁϥⲓ̀ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϧⲉⲗϣⲓⲣⲓ ⲉϥⲭⲏⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲛ̀ⲕⲟⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ.
13:38	We were in a corner of the garden, and when we saw this wickedness we ran to them.	Ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲏⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲉⲗⲕⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ϯⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲁⲛϭⲟϫⲓ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ.
13:39	Although we saw them embracing, we could not hold the man, because he was stronger than we, and he opened the doors and got away.	Ⲫⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲛϣ̀ϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁϥϫⲟⲣ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲫⲱⲧ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ.
13:40	We did, however, seize this woman and asked who the young man was,	Ⲑⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛϣⲉⲛⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓϧⲉⲗϣⲓⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲛ.
13:41	but she would not tell us. These things we testify. Because they were elders of the people and judges, the assembly believed them and condemned her to death.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ϩⲱⲥ ϩⲁⲛⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲕ̀ⲣⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ.
13:42	Then Susanna cried out with a loud voice, and said, O eternal God, you know what is secret and are aware of all things before they come to be;	Ⲁⲥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲡⲓϣⲁⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲧⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ.
13:43	you know that these men have given false evidence against me. And now I am to die, though I have done none of the wicked things that they have charged against me!	Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲱ̀ Ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϫ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉⲣ ϩ̀ⲗⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
13:44	The Lord heard her cry.	Ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲥⲥ̀ⲙⲏ.
13:45	Just as she was being led off to execution, God stirred up the holy spirit of a young lad named Daniel,	Ⲉⲩⲱ̀ⲗⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟⲥ ⲁ Ⲫϯ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲗⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ.
13:46	and he shouted with a loud voice, I want no part in shedding this woman's blood!	Ⲁϥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲁ ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ.
13:47	All the people turned to him and asked, What is this you are saying?	Ⲁϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲕϫⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ.
13:48	Taking his stand among them he said, Are you such fools, O Israelites, as to condemn a daughter of Israel without examination and without learning the facts?	Ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲏϯ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲟϫ ϧⲁ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲟⲧⲱⲉⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲥ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲁⲡ.
13:49	Return to court, for these men have given false evidence against her.	Ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛ̀ϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϫ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲥ.
13:50	So all the people hurried back. And the rest of the elders said to him, Come, sit among us and inform us, for God has given you the standing of an elder.	Ⲁϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲓⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲙⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲁ Ⲫϯ ϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ.
13:51	Daniel said to them, Separate them far from each other, and I will examine them.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ ϫⲉ ⲫⲟⲣϫⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲉⲣⲁ̀ⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
13:52	When they were separated from each other, he summoned one of them and said to him, You old relic of wicked days, your sins have now come home, which you have committed in the past,	Ϩⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲫⲟⲣϫⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲁ̀ⲡⲁⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲒ̀ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲕ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲕⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϣⲟⲣⲡ.
13:53	pronouncing unjust judgments, condemning the innocent and acquitting the guilty, though the Lord said, You shall not put an innocent and righteous person to death.'	Ⲉⲕϯϩⲁⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϩⲁⲡ ⲛ̀ⲟ̀ϫⲓ ⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲕϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲁⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲕⲭⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲑⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲕϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ.
13:54	Now then, if you really saw this woman, tell me this: Under what tree did you see them being intimate with each other? He answered, Under a mastic tree.	Ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲁⲓ ⲁ̀ϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲁϣ ⲛ̀ϣ̀ϣⲏⲛ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϧⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲭⲓⲛⲟⲛ.
13:55	And Daniel said, Very well! This lie has cost you your head, for the angel of God has received the sentence from God and will immediately cut you in two.	Ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲕϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲁⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲙ̀Ⲫϯ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲫⲟⲣϫⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲏϯ.
13:56	Then, putting him to one side, he ordered them to bring the other. And he said to him, You offspring of Canaan and not of Judah, beauty has beguiled you and lust has perverted your heart.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲭⲉⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϫ̀ⲣⲟϫ ⲛ̀Ⲭⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁ Ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲁ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ϯⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ̀ ⲑⲱⲙ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ.
13:57	This is how you have been treating the daughters of Israel, and they were intimate with you through fear; but a daughter of Judah would not tolerate your wickedness.	Ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲁ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲛϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲛⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲉⲣϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ̀.

13:59	Daniel said to him, Very well! This lie has cost you also your head, for the angel of God is waiting with his sword to split you in two, so as to destroy you both.	Ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲕ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲕϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲁⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ϥ̀ⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲉⲣⲉ ϯⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲥⲕ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲃ̅.
13:60	Then the whole assembly raised a great shout and blessed God, who saves those who hope in him.	Ⲁⲥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀Ⲫϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ.
13:61	And they took action against the two elders, because out of their own mouths Daniel had convicted them of bearing false witness; they did to them as they had wickedly planned to do to their neighbor.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥⲃ̅ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲉⲣⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲙ̀Ⲙⲱⲩ̀ⲥⲏⲥ.
13:62	Acting in accordance with the law of Moses, they put them to death. Thus innocent blood was spared that day.	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲁⲑⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ.
13:63	Hilkiah and his wife praised God for their daughter Susanna, and so did her husband Joakim and all her relatives, because she was found innocent of a shameful deed.	Ⲭⲉⲗⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉϥⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲩⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀Ⲫϯ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲧⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲱⲁⲕⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ⲉϥϣⲏϣ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ϧⲁ Ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ⲉϥϭⲓ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ.
13:64	And from that day onward Daniel had a great reputation among the people.	Ⲇⲁⲛⲓⲏⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱϥ.
