4:1	Better than this is childlessness with virtue, for in the memory of virtue is immortality, because it is known both by God and by mortals.	Besser ist Kinderlosigkeit mit Tugend; unsterblich ist ihr Ruhm, sie steht in Ehren bei Gott und bei den Menschen.	Meglio essere senza figli e avere la virtù, poiché nel ricordo di questa c'è immortalità, per il fatto che è riconosciuta da Dio e dagli uomini.	ان البتولية مع الفضيلة اجمل فان معها ذكرا خالدا لانها تبقى معلومة عند الله والناس
4:2	When it is present, people imitate it, and they long for it when it has gone; throughout all time it marches, crowned in triumph, victor in the contest for prizes that are undefiled.	Ist sie zugegen, ahmt man sie nach; ist sie entschwunden, sehnt man sie herbei. In der Ewigkeit triumphiert sie, geschmückt mit dem Kranz, Siegerin im Wettstreit um einen edlen Preis.	Presente è imitata; assente è desiderata; nell'eternità trionfa, cinta di corona, per aver vinto nella gara di combattimenti senza macchia.	اذا حضرت يقتدى بها واذا غابت يشتاق اليها ومدى الدهور تفتخر باكليل الظفر بعد انتصارها في ساحة المعارك الطاهرة
4:3	But the prolific brood of the ungodly will be of no use, and none of their illegitimate seedlings will strike a deep root or take a firm hold.	Doch die große Kinderschar der Frevler bringt keinen Nutzen; sie ist ein unechtes Gewächs, treibt keine Wurzeln in die Tiefe und fasst keinen sicheren Grund.	La discendenza numerosa degli empi non servirà a nulla; e dalle sue bastarde propaggini non metterà profonde radici né si consoliderà su una base sicura.	اما لفيف المنافقين الكثير التوالد فلا ينجح وفراخهم النغلة لا تتعمق اصولها ولا تقوم على ساق راسخة
4:4	For even if they put forth boughs for a while, standing insecurely they will be shaken by the wind, and by the violence of the winds they will be uprooted.	Breitet es auch eine Zeit lang üppig seine Zweige aus, so wird es doch vom Wind hin und her geschüttelt und von der Gewalt der Stürme entwurzelt.	Anche se per qualche tempo mette gemme sui rami, i suoi germogli precari saranno scossi dal vento e sradicati dalla violenza delle bufere.	و ان اخرجت فروعا الى حين فانها لعدم رسوخها تزعزعها الريح وتقتلعها الزوبعة
4:5	The branches will be broken off before they come to maturity, and their fruit will be useless, not ripe enough to eat, and good for nothing.	Die Äste, die noch schwach sind, werden geknickt; ihre Frucht ist unbrauchbar, unreif und ungenießbar, zu gar nichts geeignet.	Si spezzeranno i ramoscelli ancora teneri; il loro frutto sarà inutile, non maturo da mangiare, e a nulla servirà.	فتنقصف فروعها قبل اناها وتكون ثمرتها خبيثة غير ناضجة للاكل ولا تصلح لشيء
4:6	For children born of unlawful unions are witnesses of evil against their parents when God examines them.	Denn die Kinder eines sündigen Beischlafs treten im Gericht als Zeugen auf für die Schlechtigkeit ihrer Eltern.	Infatti i figli nati da unioni illegali attestano la perversità dei genitori nel giudizio di essi.	و المولودون من المضجع الاثيم يشهدون بفاحشة والديهم عند استنطاق حالهم
4:7	But the righteous, though they die early, will be at rest.	Der Gerechte aber, kommt auch sein Ende früh, geht in Gottes Ruhe ein.	Il giusto, anche se muore prematuramente, troverà riposo.	اما الصديق فانه وان تعجله الموت يستقر في الراحة
4:8	For old age is not honored for length of time, or measured by number of years;	Denn ehrenvolles Alter besteht nicht in einem langen Leben und wird nicht an der Zahl der Jahre gemessen.	Vecchiaia veneranda non è la longevità, né si calcola dal numero degli anni;	لان الشيخوخة المكرمة ليست هي القديمة الايام ولا هي تقدر بعدد السنين
4:9	but understanding is gray hair for anyone, and a blameless life is ripe old age.	Mehr als graues Haar bedeutet für die Menschen die Klugheit und mehr als Greisenalter wiegt ein Leben ohne Tadel.	ma la canizie per gli uomini sta nella sapienza; e un'età senile è una vita senza macchia.	و لكن شيب الانسان هو الفطنة وسن الشيخوخة هي الحياة المنزهة عن العيب
4:10	There were some who pleased God and were loved by him, and while living among sinners were taken up.	Er gefiel Gott und wurde von ihm geliebt; da er mitten unter Sündern lebte, wurde er entrückt.	Divenuto caro a Dio, fu amato da lui e poiché viveva fra peccatori, fu trasferito.	انه كان مرضيا لله فاحبه وكان يعيش بين الخطاة فنقله
4:11	They were caught up so that evil might not change their understanding or guile deceive their souls.	Er wurde weggenommen, damit nicht Schlechtigkeit seine Einsicht verkehrte und Arglist seine Seele täuschte.	Fu rapito, perché la malizia non ne mutasse i sentimenti o l'inganno non ne traviasse l'animo,	خطفه لكي لا يغير الشر عقله ولا يطغي الغش نفسه
4:12	For the fascination of wickedness obscures what is good, and roving desire perverts the innocent mind.	Denn der Reiz des Bösen verdunkelt das Gute und der Taumel der Begierde verdirbt den arglosen Sinn.	poiché il fascino del vizio deturpa anche il bene e il turbine della passione travolge una mente semplice.	لان سحر الاباطيل يغشي الخير ودوار الشهوة يطيش العقل السليم
4:13	Being perfected in a short time, they fulfilled long years;	Früh vollendet, hat der Gerechte doch ein volles Leben gehabt;	Giunto in breve alla perfezione, ha compiuto una lunga carriera.	قد بلغ الكمال في ايام قليلة فكان مستوفيا سنين كثيرة
4:14	for their souls were pleasing to the Lord, therefore he took them quickly from the midst of wickedness.	da seine Seele dem Herrn gefiel, enteilte sie aus der Mitte des Bösen. Die Leute sahen es, ohne es zu verstehen; sie nahmen es sich nicht zu Herzen,	La sua anima fu gradita al Signore; perciò egli lo tolse in fretta da un ambiente malvagio. I popoli vedono senza comprendere; non riflettono nella mente a questo fatto	و اذ كانت نفسه مرضية للرب فقد اخرج سريعا من بين الشرور اما الشعوب فابصروا ولم يفقهوا ولم يجعلوا هذا فيقلوبهم
4:15	Yet the peoples saw and did not understand, or take such a thing to heart, that God's grace and mercy are with his elect, and that he watches over his holy ones.	dass Gnade und Erbarmen seinen Auserwählten zuteil wird, Belohnung seinen Heiligen.	che la grazia e la misericordia sono per i suoi eletti e la protezione per i suoi santi.	ان نعمته ورحمته لمختاريه وافتقاده لقديسيه
4:16	The righteous who have died will condemn the ungodly who are living, and youth that is quickly perfected will condemn the prolonged old age of the unrighteous.	Der Gerechte, der entschlafen ist, verurteilt die Frevler, die noch leben, die früh vollendete Jugend das hohe Alter des Ungerechten.	Il giusto defunto condanna gli empi ancora in vita; una giovinezza, giunta in breve alla perfezione, condanna la lunga vecchiaia dell'ingiusto.	لكن الصديق الذي قد مات يحكم على المنافقين الباقين بعده الشبيبة السريعة الكمال تحكم على شيخوخة الاثيم الكثيرة السنين
4:17	For they will see the end of the wise, and will not understand what the Lord purposed for them, and for what he kept them safe.	Die Frevler sehen das Ende des Weisen, verstehen aber nicht, was der Herr mit ihm wollte und warum er ihn in Sicherheit brachte.	Le folle vedranno la fine del saggio, ma non capiranno ciò che Dio ha deciso a suo riguardo né in vista di che cosa il Signore l'ha posto al sicuro.	فانهم يبصرون موت الحكيم ولا يفقهون ماذا اراد الرب به ولماذا نقله الى عصمته
4:18	The unrighteous will see, and will have contempt for them, but the Lord will laugh them to scorn. After this they will become dishonored corpses, and an outrage among the dead forever;	Sie sehen es und gehen darüber hinweg; doch der Herr lacht über sie.	Vedranno e disprezzeranno, ma il Signore li deriderà.	يبصرون ويزدرون والرب يستهزئ بهم
4:19	because he will dash them speechless to the ground, and shake them from the foundations; they will be left utterly dry and barren, and they will suffer anguish, and the memory of them will perish.	Dann werden sie verachtete Leichen sein, ewiger Spott bei den Toten. Sie werden verstummen, wenn er sie kopfüber hinabstürzt und aus ihren Grundfesten reißt. Sie werden völlig vernichtet und erleiden Qualen; die Erinnerung an sie verschwindet.	Infine diventeranno un cadavere spregevole, oggetto di scherno fra i morti per sempre. Dio infatti li precipiterà muti, a capofitto, e li schianterà dalle fondamenta; saranno del tutto rovinati, si troveranno tra dolori e il loro ricordo perirà.	سيسقطون من بعد سقوطا مهينا ويكونون عارا بين الاموات مدى الدهور فانه يحطمهم وهم مبلسون مطرقون ويقتلعهم من الاسس ويتم خرابهم فيكونون في العذاب وذكرهم يهلك
4:20	They will come with dread when their sins are reckoned up, and their lawless deeds will convict them to their face.	Zitternd kommen sie zum Gericht über ihre Sünden; ihre Vergehen treten ihnen entgegen und überführen sie.	Si presenteranno tremanti al rendiconto dei loro peccati; le loro iniquità si alzeranno contro di essi per accusarli.	يتقدمون فزعين من تذكر خطاياهم واثامهم تحجهم في وجوههم
