2:1	In those days Mattathias son of John son of Simeon, a priest of the family of Joarib, moved from Jerusalem and settled in Modein.	Damals trat ein Priester auf aus dem Geschlecht des Jojarib namens Mattatias; sein Vater war Johanan, der Sohn Simeons. Er stammte aus Jerusalem, hatte sich aber in Modeïn niedergelassen. 2:2	He had five sons, John surnamed Gaddi,	Er hatte fünf Söhne: Johanan, den man auch Gaddi nannte,	Egli aveva cinque figli: Giovanni chiamato anche Gaddi,	Matatiasi anali ndi ana aamuna asanu. Maina ao naŵa: Yohane wotchedwa Gadisi,	و كان له خمسة بنين يوحنا الملقب بكديس
2:3	Simon called Thassi,	Simeon mit dem Beinamen Tassi,	Simeone chiamato Tassi,	Simoni wotchedwa Tasi,	و سمعان المسمى بطسي
2:4	Judas called Maccabeus,	Judas, der als der Makkabäer bekannt wurde,	Giuda chiamato Maccabeo,	Yudasi wotchedwa Makabeo,	و يهوذا الملقب بالمكابي
2:5	Eleazar called Avaran, and Jonathan called Apphus.	Eleasar, dem man den Namen Awaran gab, und Jonatan, der auch Apphus hieß.	Eleàzaro chiamato Auaran, Giònata chiamato Affus.	Eleazara wotchedwa Avarano, ndi Yonatani wotchedwa Afusi.	و العازار الملقب باواران ويوناتان الملقب بافوس
2:6	He saw the blasphemies being committed in Judah and Jerusalem,	Als er das gotteslästerliche Treiben in Judäa und in Jerusalem sah, sagte er:	Viste le empietà che si commettevano in Giuda e Gerusalemme,	Matatiasi adaona zoipa za kunyoza Mulungu zimene zinkachitika ku Yuda ndi ku Yerusalemu.	و لما راى ما يصنع من المنكرات في يهوذا واورشليم
2:7	and said, Alas! Why was I born to see this, the ruin of my people, the ruin of the holy city, and to live there when it was given over to the enemy, the sanctuary given over to aliens?	Ach, warum bin ich geboren, dass ich erleben muss, wie man mein Volk vernichtet und die heilige Stadt zerstört? Ohnmächtig musste man zusehen, wie sie in die Gewalt ihrer Feinde geriet, wie die heilige Stätte Fremden in die Hände fiel.	disse: «Ohimè! perché mai sono nato per vedere lo strazio del mio popolo e lo strazio della città santa e debbo sedere qui mentre essa è in balìa dei nemici e il santuario in mano agli stranieri? 2:8	Her temple has become like a person without honor;	Ihr Tempel wurde wie ein ehrloser Mann,	Il suo tempio è diventato come un uomo ignobile,	Nyumba ya Mulungu yasanduka ngati munthu wotha ulemu.	و ارى المقدس في ايدي الاجانب وهيكلها كرجل ذليل
2:9	her glorious vessels have been carried into exile. Her infants have been killed in her streets, her youths by the sword of the foe.	ihre Kostbarkeiten schleppte man als Beute fort. Auf den Plätzen erschlug man ihre kleinen Kinder; ihre jungen Männer fielen unter dem Schwert des Feindes.	gli ornamenti della sua gloria sono stati portati via come preda, sono stati sgozzati i suoi bambini nelle piazze e i giovinetti dalla spada nemica. 2:10	What nation has not inherited her palaces and has not seized her spoils?	Welches Volk hat nicht ein Stück des Reiches erhalten, hat sich nicht seinen Anteil an der Beute errafft?	Qual popolo non ha invaso il suo regno e non si è impadronito delle sue spoglie?	Kodi ulipo mtundu wa anthu umene sudalandeko chigawo cha ufumu wake ndi kufunkha katundu wake?	اية امة لم ترث ملكها ولم تسلب غنائمها
2:11	All her adornment has been taken away; no longer free, she has become a slave.	Ihren ganzen Schmuck nahm man ihr weg. Die Freie wurde zur Sklavin.	Ogni ornamento le è stato strappato, da padrona è diventata schiava.	Adauchotsera makaka ake onse. Udaali mfulu, koma wasanduka kapolo.	جميع حلاها قد نزعت والتي كانت حرة صارت امة
2:12	And see, our holy place, our beauty, and our glory have been laid waste; the Gentiles have profaned them.	Seht, unser Heiligtum, unsere Zierde und unser Ruhm, liegt verödet; fremde Völker haben es entweiht.	Ecco, le nostre cose sante, la nostra bellezza, la nostra gloria sono state devastate, le hanno profanate i pagani. 2:14	Then Mattathias and his sons tore their clothes, put on sackcloth, and mourned greatly.	Und Mattatias und seine Söhne zerrissen ihre Gewänder, zogen Bußkleider an und gaben sich tiefer Trauer hin.	Mattatia e i suoi figli si stracciarono le vesti, si vestirono di sacco e si misero in grande lutto. 2:15	The king's officers who were enforcing the apostasy came to the town of Modein to make them offer sacrifice.	Da kamen die Beamten, die vom König den Auftrag hatten, die Einwohner zum Abfall von Gott zu zwingen, in die Stadt Modeïn, um die Opfer durchzuführen.	Ora vennero nella città di Modin i messaggeri del re, incaricati di costringere all'apostasia e a far sacrificare. 2:16	Many from Israel came to them; and Mattathias and his sons were assembled.	Viele Männer aus Israel kamen zu ihnen; auch Mattatias und seine Söhne mussten erscheinen.	Molti Israeliti andarono da loro; invece Mattatia e i suoi figli si raccolsero in disparte.	Aisraele ambiri adakasonkhana nao, koma Matatiasi ndi ana ake adaima pa okha.	فاقبل عليهم كثيرين من اسرائيل واجتمع متتيا وبنوه
2:17	Then the king's officers spoke to Mattathias as follows: You are a leader, honored and great in this town, and supported by sons and brothers.	Da wandten sich die Leute des Königs an Mattatias und sagten: Du besitzt in dieser Stadt Macht, Ansehen und Einfluss und hast die Unterstützung deiner Söhne und Verwandten.	I messaggeri del re si rivolsero a Mattatia e gli dissero: «Tu sei uomo autorevole e stimato e grande in questa città e sei sostenuto da figli e fratelli;	Asilikali a mfumu Antioko adauza Matatiasi kuti, “Iwe ndiwe mtsogoleri ndiponso munthu womveka ndi wamphamvu mu mzinda uno, ndipo ana ako ndi abale ako ali pambuyo pako.	فاجاب رسل الملك وكلموا متتيا قائلين انت رئيس في هذه المدينة شريف عظيم معزز بالبنين والاخوة
2:18	Now be the first to come and do what the king commands, as all the Gentiles and the people of Judah and those that are left in Jerusalem have done. Then you and your sons will be numbered among the Friends of the king, and you and your sons will be honored with silver and gold and many gifts."	Tritt also als erster vor und tu, was der König angeordnet hat. So haben es alle Völker getan, auch die Männer in Judäa und alle, die in Jerusalem geblieben sind. Dann wirst du mit deinen Söhnen zu den Freunden des Königs gehören; auch wird man dich und deine Söhne mit Silber, Gold und vielen Geschenken überhäufen.	su, fatti avanti per primo e adempi il comando del re, come hanno fatto tutti i popoli e gli uomini di Giuda e quelli rimasti in Gerusalemme; così passerai tu e i tuoi figli nel numero degli amici del re e tu e i tuoi figli avrete in premio oro e argento e doni in quantità». Adzakulemekezani nkukupatsani golide, siliva ndi mphatso zina zambiri.”	فالان ابدا انت وتقدم لامضاء امر الملك كما فعلت الامم كلها ورجال يهوذا ومن بقي في اورشليم فتكون انت واهل بيتك من اصدقاء الملك وتكرم انت وبنوك بالذهب والفضة والهدايا الكثيرة
2:19	But Mattathias answered and said in a loud voice: Even if all the nations that live under the rule of the king obey him, and have chosen to obey his commandments, everyone of them abandoning the religion of their ancestors,	Mattatias aber antwortete mit lauter Stimme: Auch wenn alle Völker im Reich des Königs ihm gehorchen und jedes von der Religion seiner Väter abfällt und sich für seine Anordnungen entscheidet -	Ma Mattatia rispose a gran voce: «Anche se tutti i popoli nei domini del re lo ascolteranno e ognuno si staccherà dal culto dei suoi padri e vorranno tutti aderire alle sue richieste,	Pa zimenezi Matatiasi adayankha ndi mau okweza kuti, “Ngakhale anthu a mitundu ina yonse, okhala mu ulamuliro wa mfumu, amamumvera ndi kusiya chipembedzo cha makolo ao, ndi kutsata malamulo ake,	فاجاب متتيا بصوت عظيم وقال انه وان طاعت للملك كل الامم التي في دار ملكه وارتد كل احد عن دين ابائه ورضي باوامره
2:20	I and my sons and my brothers will continue to live by the covenant of our ancestors.	ich, meine Söhne und meine Verwandten bleiben beim Bund unserer Väter.	io, i miei figli e i miei fratelli cammineremo nell'alleanza dei nostri padri;	ine ndekha, ana anga ndi abale anga, tidzasunga chipangano cha makolo athu.	فانا وبني واخوتي نسلك في عهد ابائنا
2:21	Far be it from us to desert the law and the ordinances.	Der Himmel bewahre uns davor, das Gesetz und seine Vorschriften zu verlassen.	ci guardi il Signore dall'abbandonare la legge e le tradizioni;	Atithandize Mulungu kuti tisaleke kutsata Malamulo ake.	فحاشا لنا ان نترك الشريعة والاحكام
2:22	We will not obey the king's words by turning aside from our religion to the right hand or to the left.	Wir gehorchen den Befehlen des Königs nicht und wir weichen weder nach rechts noch nach links von unserer Religion ab.	non ascolteremo gli ordini del re per deviare dalla nostra religione a destra o a sinistra».	Sitidzamvera kulamula kwa mfumu. Sitidzapatuka pa chipembedzo chathu, kuloŵera kumanja kapena kumanzere.”	انا لن نسمع لكلام الملك فنحيد عن ديننا يمنة او يسرة
2:23	When he had finished speaking these words, a Jew came forward in the sight of all to offer sacrifice on the altar in Modein, according to the king's command.	Kaum hatte er das gesagt, da trat vor aller Augen ein Jude vor und wollte auf dem Altar von Modeïn opfern, wie es der König angeordnet hatte.	Terminate queste parole, si avvicinò un Giudeo alla vista di tutti per sacrificare sull'altare in Modin secondo il decreto del re. 2:24	When Mattathias saw it, he burned with zeal and his heart was stirred. He gave vent to righteous anger; he ran and killed him on the altar.	Als Mattatias das sah, packte ihn leidenschaftlicher Eifer; er bebte vor Erregung und ließ seinem gerechten Zorn freien Lauf: Er sprang vor und erstach den Abtrünnigen über dem Altar.	Ciò vedendo Mattatia arse di zelo; fremettero le sue viscere ed egli ribollì di giusto sdegno. Fattosi avanti di corsa, lo uccise sull'altare;	Matatiasi atampenya adapsa mtima zedi, nayamba kunjenjemera ndi ukali. Adamlumphira munthuyo ndi mkwiyo wachilungamo, namuphera paguwa pomwepo.	فلما راى متتيا ذلك غار وارتعش حقواه واستشاط غضبا وفاقا للشريعة فوثب عليه وقتله على المذبح
2:25	At the same time he killed the king's officer who was forcing them to sacrifice, and he tore down the altar.	Zusammen mit ihm erschlug er auch den königlichen Beamten, der sie zum Opfer zwingen wollte, und riss den Altar nieder;	uccise nel medesimo tempo il messaggero del re, che costringeva a sacrificare, e distrusse l'altare.	Nthaŵi yomweyo adaphanso nduna ya mfumu imene inkaumiriza anthu kupereka nsembe, kenaka nkuligamula guwalo.	و في ذلك الوقت قتل ايضا رجل الملك الذي كان يجبر على الذبح وهدم المذبح
2:26	Thus he burned with zeal for the law, just as Phinehas did against Zimri son of Salu.	der leidenschaftliche Eifer für das Gesetz hatte ihn gepackt und er tat, was einst Pinhas mit Simri, dem Sohn des Salu, gemacht hatte.	Egli agiva per zelo verso la legge come aveva fatto Pincas con Zambri figlio di Salom.	Motero changu cha Matatiasi chokonda Malamulo chidamchititsa zimenezo, monga muja adaachitira Finehasi, kupha Zimuri, mwana wa Salu.	و غار للشريعة كما فعل فنحاس بزمري بن سالو
2:27	Then Mattathias cried out in the town with a loud voice, saying: Let every one who is zealous for the law and supports the covenant come out with me!	Dann ging Mattatias durch die Stadt und rief laut: Wer sich für das Gesetz ereifert und zum Bund steht, der soll mir folgen.	La voce di Mattatia tuonò nella città: «Chiunque ha zelo per la legge e vuol difendere l'alleanza mi segua!».	Pambuyo pake Matatiasi adalengeza mumzindamo mokweza mau kuti, “Aliyense wotsimikiza kusunga Chipangano ndi Malamulo abwere anditsate.”	و صاح متتيا في المدينة بصوت عظيم قائلا كل من غار للشريعة وحافظ على العهد فليخرج ورائي
2:28	Then he and his sons fled to the hills and left all that they had in the town.	Und er floh mit seinen Söhnen in die Berge; ihren ganzen Besitz ließen sie in der Stadt zurück.	Fuggì con i suoi figli tra i monti, abbandonando in città quanto avevano.	Tsono iye ndi ana ake adathaŵira ku mapiri, nkusiya zonse zimene anali nazo mumzindamo.	و هرب هو وبنوه الى الجبال وتركوا كل ما لهم في المدينة
2:29	At that time many who were seeking righteousness and justice went down to the wilderness to live there,	Damals gingen viele, die Recht und Gerechtigkeit suchten, in die Wüste hinunter, um dort zu leben.	Allora molti che ricercavano la giustizia e il diritto scesero per dimorare nel deserto	Pa nthaŵi imeneyo Ayuda ambiri ofuna kusunga chipembedzo chao ndi chilungamo, nawonso adakakhala ku chipululu.	حينئذ نزل كثيرون الى البرية ممن يبتغون العدل والحكم
2:30	they, their sons, their wives, and their livestock, because troubles pressed heavily upon them.	Ihre Kinder und ihre Frauen und auch ihr Vieh nahmen sie mit; denn ihre Lage zu Hause war unerträglich geworden.	con i loro figli, le loro mogli e i greggi, perché si erano addensati i mali sopra di essi.	Adapita ndi ana ao, akazi ao, ndi ziŵeto zao, chifukwa mavuto ao anali ochuluka.	ليسكنوا هناك هم وبنوهم ونساؤهم ومواشيهم لان الشرور كثرت عليهم
2:31	And it was reported to the king's officers, and to the troops in Jerusalem the city of David, that those who had rejected the king's command had gone down to the hiding places in the wilderness.	Aber man meldete den Beauftragten des Königs und der Besatzung, die in der Davidstadt von Jerusalem war: Die Leute, die die Anordnung des Königs missachtet haben, sind in die Wüste zu den Höhlen hinabgezogen.	Fu riferito agli uomini del re e alle milizie che stavano in Gerusalemme, nella città di Davide, che si erano raccolti laggiù in luoghi nascosti del deserto uomini che avevano stracciato l'editto del re. 2:32	Many pursued them, and overtook them; they encamped opposite them and prepared for battle against them on the sabbath day.	Da setzte ihnen eine starke Truppe nach; als sie die Juden eingeholt hatte, stellte sie sich ihnen gegenüber auf und machte sich zum Kampf bereit. An jenem Tag war gerade Sabbat.	Molti corsero ad inseguirli, li raggiunsero, si accamparono di fronte a loro e si prepararono a dar battaglia in giorno di sabato.	Pomwepo ankhondo ambiri adanyamuka mofulumira nkuŵalondola. 2:33	They said to them, Enough of this! Come out and do what the king commands, and you will live.	Die Soldaten riefen ihnen zu: Jetzt ist noch Zeit. Kommt heraus und tut, was der König sagt; dann bleibt ihr am Leben.	Dicevano loro: «Basta ormai; uscite, obbedite ai comandi del re e avrete salva la vita».	Adaŵafuulira kuti, “Nthaŵi ikalipo, tulukani, mumvere malamulo a mfumu, ndipo mudzakhala ndi moyo.”	و قالوا لهم حسبكم ما فعلتم فاخرجوا وافعلوا كما امر الملك فتحيوا
2:34	But they said, We will not come out, nor will we do what the king commands and so profane the sabbath day.	Die Juden antworteten: Wir gehen nicht hinaus und tun nicht, was der König sagt; wir werden den Sabbat nicht entweihen.	Ma quelli risposero: «Non usciremo, né seguiremo gli ordini del re, profanando il giorno del sabato».	Ayuda aja adayankha kuti, “Iyai, ife sitituluka, sitidzatsata malamulo a mfumu kapena kuipitsa tsiku la Sabata.”	فقالوا لا نخرج ولا نفعل كما امر الملك لئلا ندنس يوم السبت
2:35	Then the enemy quickly attacked them.	Da gingen die Soldaten sofort zum Angriff über.	Quelli si precipitarono all'assalto contro di loro.	Pompo asilikaliwo adayambapo nkhondo.	فاثاروا عليهم القتال
2:36	But they did not answer them or hurl a stone at them or block up their hiding places,	Die Juden gaben keine Antwort mehr; sie warfen nicht einmal Steine auf sie, noch versperrten sie die Eingänge der Höhlen. 2:37	for they said, Let us all die in our innocence; heaven and earth testify for us that you are killing us unjustly.	Denn sie sagten: Wir wollen lieber alle sterben, als schuldig werden. Himmel und Erde sind unsere Zeugen, dass ihr uns gegen jedes Recht umbringt.	protestando: «Moriamo tutti nella nostra innocenza. Testimoniano per noi il cielo e la terra che ci fate morire ingiustamente».	Adangonena kuti, “Ife tonse mutipha popanda chifukwa, tilibe cholakwa chilichonse, kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi ndi mboni.”	قائلين لنمت جميعا في استقامتنا والسماء والارض شاهدتان لنا بانكم تهلكوننا ظلما
2:38	So they attacked them on the sabbath, and they died, with their wives and children and livestock, to the number of a thousand persons.	Am Sabbat begannen die Soldaten den Kampf; so starben die Juden mit ihren Frauen und Kindern, etwa tausend Menschen, und auch ihr Vieh kam zusammen mit ihnen um.	Così quelli mossero contro di loro a battaglia di sabato: essi morirono con le mogli e i figli e i loro greggi, in numero di circa mille persone.	Tsono iwo aja adaŵathira nkhondo tsiku la Sabata, naŵapha iwowo, akazi ao, ana ao ndi ziŵeto zao zomwe. 2:39	When Mattathias and his friends learned of it, they mourned for them deeply.	Als Mattatias und seine Anhänger das erfuhren, hielten sie für die Toten eine große Trauerfeier ab.	Quando Mattatia e i suoi amici lo seppero, ne fecero gran pianto.	Matatiasi ndi abwenzi ake atamva zimenezo, adaŵalira kwambiri.	و اخبر متتيا واصحابه فناحوا عليهم نوحا شديدا
2:40	And all said to their neighbors: If we all do as our kindred have done and refuse to fight with the Gentiles for our lives and for our ordinances, they will quickly destroy us from the earth.	Sie sagten zueinander: Wenn wir alle so handeln, wie unsere Brüder gehandelt haben, und nicht gegen die fremden Völker für unser Leben und unsere Gesetze kämpfen, dann vertilgen sie uns bald von der Erde.	Poi dissero tra di loro: «Se faremo tutti come hanno fatto i nostri fratelli e non combatteremo contro i pagani per la nostra vita e per le nostre leggi, ci faranno sparire in breve dalla terra».	Adauzana kuti, “Ife tikachita zonga zimene adachita abale athuŵa, tikapanda kumenyana nawo nkhondo anthu a mitundu inaŵa kuti tisunge moyo wathu ndi malamulo athu ndi mwambo wathu, ndiye kuti adzatiwononga tonse pa dziko lapansi.”	و قال بعضهم لبعض ان فعلنا كلنا كما فعل اخوتنا ولم نقاتل الامم عن نفوسنا واحكامنا لم يلبثوا ان يبيدونا عن الارض
