15:2	its contents were as follows: King Antiochus to Simon the high priest and ethnarch and to the nation of the Jews, greetings.	Es hatte folgenden Inhalt: König Antiochus grüßt Simeon, den Hohenpriester und Fürsten, und das jüdische Volk.	il cui contenuto era del seguente tenore: «Il re Antioco a Simone sommo sacerdote ed etnarca e al popolo dei Giudei salute.	و هذه فحواها من انطيوكس الملك الى سمعان الكاهن الاعظم رئيس الامة والى شعب اليهود سلام
15:3	Whereas certain scoundrels have gained control of the kingdom of our ancestors, and I intend to lay claim to the kingdom so that I may restore it as it formerly was, and have recruited a host of mercenary troops and have equipped warships,	Ein paar Verbrecher haben die Herrschaft über das Reich unserer Väter an sich gerissen. Ich will nun das Reich wieder übernehmen und in ihm die alte Ordnung wiederherstellen. Ich habe zahlreiche Streitkräfte angeworben, mehrere Kriegsschiffe ausgerüstet	Poiché alcuni uomini pestiferi si sono impadroniti del regno dei nostri padri, voglio rivendicare i miei diritti sul regno, per ricostruirlo com'era prima; ho reclutato un esercito ingente di mercenari e allestito navi da guerra.	انه اذ كان قوم من ذوي الفساد قد تسلطوا على مملكة ابائنا كان من همي الان ان استخلص المملكة حتى اعيدها الى ما كانت عليه منقبل وقد حشدت جيوشا كثيرة وجهزت اسطولا للحرب
15:4	and intend to make a landing in the country so that I may proceed against those who have destroyed our country and those who have devastated many cities in my kingdom,	und will mit ihnen landen, um alle zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen, die unser Land verwüstet und so viele Städte in meinem Reich entvölkert haben.	E' mia volontà sbarcare nella regione, per punire coloro che hanno rovinato il nostro paese e desolato molte città nel mio regno.	و انا عازم ان اتقدم على البلاد لانتقم من الذين افسدوا في بلادنا وخربوا مدنا كثيرة في المملكة
15:5	now therefore I confirm to you all the tax remissions that the kings before me have granted you, and a release from all the other payments from which they have released you.	Ich bestätige dir den Erlass aller Steuern, auf die die Könige vor mir verzichtet haben, und aller sonstigen Geschenke, die sie dir erlassen haben.	Ora ti confermo tutte le esenzioni che ti hanno concesse i re miei predecessori, e tutti gli altri esoneri dai doni.	فالان اقرر لك كل حطيطة حطها عنك الملوك من قبلي وكل ما اعفوك منه من التقادم
15:6	I permit you to mint your own coinage as money for your country,	Hiermit gestatte ich dir, eigene Münzen für dein Land zu prägen.	Ti concedo di batter moneta propria con corso legale al tuo paese;	و قد ابحت لك ان تضرب في بلادك سكة خاصة
15:7	and I grant freedom to Jerusalem and the sanctuary. All the weapons that you have prepared and the strongholds that you have built and now hold shall remain yours.	Jerusalem und das Heiligtum sollen frei sein. Du darfst alle Waffen behalten, die du dir beschafft hast, dazu alle Festungen, die du angelegt hast und die in deiner Hand sind.	Gerusalemme e il suo santuario siano liberi; tutti gli armamenti che hai preparato e le fortezze che hai costruite e occupi, restino in tuo possesso.	و ان تكون اورشليم والاقداس حرة وكل ما جهزته من الاسلحة وبنيته من الحصون التي في يدك فليبق لك
15:8	Every debt you owe to the royal treasury and any such future debts shall be canceled for you from henceforth and for all time.	Alle Schulden an die königliche Kasse, auch die künftigen Forderungen der Krone, seien dir von jetzt an für immer erlassen.	Quanto devi al re e i debiti che potrai avere verso il re in avvenire da ora e sempre ti sono rimessi.	و كل ضريبة ملكية كانت فيما سلف او تكون فيما ياتي تفعى منها من الان على طول الزمان
15:9	When we gain control of our kingdom, we will bestow great honor on you and your nation and the temple, so that your glory will become manifest in all the earth.	Sobald wir die Herrschaft angetreten haben, werden wir dich, dein Volk und den Tempel mit hohen Ehren auszeichnen, sodass sich euer Ruhm über die ganze Welt verbreitet.	Quando poi avremo preso possesso del nostro regno, onoreremo te, il tuo popolo e il tempio con grandi onori, così da render chiara la vostra gloria in tutta la terra».	و اذا فزنا بمملكتنا اعززناك انت وامتك والهيكل اعزازا عظيما حتى يتلالا مجدكم في الارض كلها
15:10	In the one hundred seventy-fourth year Antiochus set out and invaded the land of his ancestors. All the troops rallied to him, so that there were only a few with Trypho.	Im Jahr 174 kam Antiochus in das Land seiner Väter. Alle Truppen schlossen sich ihm an; nur wenige blieben bei Tryphon.	Nell'anno centosettantaquattro Antioco entrò nella terra dei suoi padri e si schierarono con lui tutte le milizie, così che pochi rimasero con Trifone.	و في السنة المئة والرابعة والسبعين خرج انطيوكس الى ارض ابائه فاجتمع اليه جميع الجيوش حتى لم يبق مع تريفون الا نفر يسير
15:11	Antiochus pursued him, and Trypho came in his flight to Dor, which is by the sea;	Antiochus verfolgte ihn und Tryphon flüchtete nach Dor am Meer.	Antioco si diede ad inseguirlo e quegli dovette fuggire e venne fino a Dora situata sul mare,	فتعقبه انطيوكس الملك فانطلق هاربا الى دورا التي على البحر
15:12	for he knew that troubles had converged on him, and his troops had deserted him.	Er hatte gemerkt, dass für ihn schlimme Zeiten angebrochen waren; denn seine Truppen hatten ihn verlassen.	perché vedeva che i mali si addensavano su di lui, mentre le truppe lo abbandonavano.	اذ ايقن ان قد تراكم عليه الشر وخذلته الجيوش
15:13	So Antiochus encamped against Dor, and with him were one hundred twenty thousand warriors and eight thousand cavalry.	Antiochus belagerte Dor mit hundertzwanzigtausend Soldaten und achttausend Reitern.	Antioco pose il campo contro Dora, avendo con sé centoventimila armati e ottomila cavalli.	فنزل انطيوكس على دورا ومعه مئة وعشرون الفا من رجال الحرب وثمانية الاف فارس
15:14	He surrounded the town, and the ships joined battle from the sea; he pressed the town hard from land and sea, and permitted no one to leave or enter it.	Er schloss die Stadt ein und ließ sie mit den Schiffen vom Meer her angreifen. So setzte er ihr zu Wasser und zu Land hart zu und ließ niemand hinein oder heraus.	Egli circondò la città mentre le navi attaccarono dal mare; fece così pressione contro la città dalla terra e dal mare, non lasciando più entrare né uscire nessuno.	و احاط بالمدينة وتقدم الاسطول من البحر فضايق المدينة برا وبحرا ولم يدع احدا يدخل او يخرج
15:15	Then Numenius and his companions arrived from Rome, with letters to the kings and countries, in which the following was written:	Zu dieser Zeit kam Numenius mit seinen Begleitern aus Rom zurück; er hatte Briefe mit folgendem Inhalt an verschiedene Könige und Länder bei sich:	Intanto arrivarono da Roma Numenio e i suo compagni, portando lettere per i re dei vari paesi. Esse dicevano:	و قدم نومانيوس والذين معه من رومية كتبا الى الملوك والبلاد كتب فيها هكذا
15:16	Lucius, consul of the Romans, to King Ptolemy, greetings.	Der römische Konsul Luzius grüßt König Ptolemäus.	«Lucio console dei Romani al re Tolomeo salute.	من لوكيوس وزير الرومانيين الى بطلماوس الملك سلام
15:17	The envoys of the Jews have come to us as our friends and allies to renew our ancient friendship and alliance. They had been sent by the high priest Simon and by the Jewish people	Die jüdischen Gesandten sind als Freunde und Verbündete zu uns gekommen, um das alte Freundschaftsbündnis zu erneuern; der Hohepriester Simeon und das jüdische Volk hatten sie geschickt.	Gli anziani dei Giudei sono giunti a noi come amici nostri e alleati, a rinnovare l'antica amicizia e alleanza, inviati da Simone sommo sacerdote e dal popolo dei Giudei.	لقد اتانا رسل اليهود اوليائنا ومناصرينا يجددون قديم الموالاة والمناصرة مرسلين من قبل سمعان الكاهن وشعب اليهود
15:18	and have brought a gold shield weighing one thousand minas.	Sie brachten auch einen goldenen Schild im Wert von tausend Minen mit.	Essi hanno portato uno scudo d'oro di mille mine.	و معهم ترس من ذهب وزنه الف منا
15:19	We therefore have decided to write to the kings and countries that they should not seek their harm or make war against them and their cities and their country, or make alliance with those who war against them.	Wir haben nun beschlossen, Könige und Länder schriftlich anzuweisen, nichts gegen die Juden zu unternehmen, gegen sie, ihre Städte und ihr Land keinen Krieg zu führen und ihre Gegner nicht zu unterstützen.	E' piaciuto a noi di scrivere ai re dei vari paesi, perché non procurino loro del male, né facciano guerra alle loro città o alla loro regione, né prestino alleanza a chi entri in guerra con loro.	فلذلك راينا ان نكتب الى الملوك والبلاد ان لا يطلبوهم بسوء ولا يقيموا عليهم حربا ولا على شيء من مدنهم وبلادهم ولا يناصروا من يحاربهم
15:20	And it has seemed good to us to accept the shield from them.	Auch beschlossen wir, den Schild von ihnen anzunehmen.	Ci è parso bene accettare da essi lo scudo.	و حسن لدينا ان نقبل منهم الترس
15:21	Therefore if any scoundrels have fled to you from their country, hand them over to the high priest Simon, so that he may punish them according to their law.	Wenn nun irgendwelche Verbrecher aus ihrem Land zu euch geflohen sind, so liefert sie dem Hohenpriester Simeon aus, damit er sie nach dem jüdischen Gesetz bestrafen kann.	Se pertanto uomini pestiferi sono fuggiti dalla loro regione presso di voi, consegnateli a Simone, perché ne faccia giustizia secondo la loro legge».	فان فر اليكم من بلادهم بعض من رجال الفساد فاسلموهم الى سمعان الكاهن الاعظم لينتقم منهم على مقتضى شريعتهم
15:22	The consul wrote the same thing to King Demetrius and to Attalus and Ariarathes and Arsaces,	Im gleichen Sinn schrieb Luzius an die Könige Demetrius, Attalus, Ariarathes und Arsakes	Uguali espressioni scrissero al re Demetrio, ad Attalo, ad Ariarate e Arsace	و كتب مثل ذلك الى ديمتريوس الملك واتالس وارياراطيس وارساكيس
15:23	and to all the countries, and to Sampsames, and to the Spartans, and to Delos, and to Myndos, and to Sicyon, and to Caria, and to Samos, and to Pamphylia, and to Lycia, and to Halicarnassus, and to Rhodes, and to Phaselis, and to Cos, and to Side, and to	sowie an alle folgenden Länder: nach Sampsame, Sparta, Delos, Myndos, Sikyon, Karien, Samos, Pamphylien, Lyzien, Halikarnass, Rhodos, Phaselis, Kos, Side, Arwad, Gortyna, Knidos, Zypern und Zyrene.	e a tutti i paesi: a Sampsame, agli Spartani, a Delo, a Mindo, a Sicione, alla Caria, a Samo, alla Pamfilia, alla Lidia, ad Alicarnasso, a Rodi, a Faselide, a Coo, a Side, ad Arado, a Gortina, a Cnido, a Cipro e a Cirene.	و الى جميع البلاد الى لمساكس واسبرطة وديلس ومندس وسيكيون وكارية وسامس وبمفيلية وليكية واليكرنسس ورودس وفسيليس وكوس وسيدن وارادس وجرتينة وكنيدس وقبرس والقيروان
15:24	They also sent a copy of these things to the high priest Simon.	Eine Abschrift schickten die Römer an den Hohenpriester Simeon.	Copia di queste lettere avevano trascritto per Simone sommo sacerdote.	و كتبوا بنسخة تلك الكتب الى سمعان الكاهن الاعظم
15:25	King Antiochus besieged Dor for the second time, continually throwing his forces against it and making engines of war; and he shut Trypho up and kept him from going out or in.	König Antiochus belagerte Dor von der Vorstadt aus. Er ließ seine Truppen ununterbrochen gegen die Stadt anrennen, stellte Belagerungsmaschinen auf und hielt Tryphon eingeschlossen, sodass niemand hinein oder heraus konnte.	Antioco dunque teneva il campo contro Dora da due giorni, lanciando continuamente contro di essa le schiere e costruendo macchine; aveva precluso a Trifone ogni possibilità di uscire ed entrare.	و عاد انطيوكس الملك فحاصر دورا ولم يزل يضايقها وينصب عليها المجانيق واحاط بالتريفون لئلا يدخل ويخرج
15:26	And Simon sent to Antiochus two thousand picked troops, to fight for him, and silver and gold and a large amount of military equipment.	Simeon sandte dem König zu seiner Unterstützung zweitausend ausgesuchte Krieger, dazu Silber und Gold und viel Kriegsausrüstung.	Simone gli inviò duemila uomini scelti per combattere al suo fianco e insieme argento, oro e molti equipaggiamenti.	فارسل اليه سمعان الفي رجل منتخبين نصرة له وفضة وذهبا وانية كثيرة
15:27	But he refused to receive them, and broke all the agreements he formerly had made with Simon, and became estranged from him.	Aber der König wollte es nicht annehmen; er brach vielmehr mit ihm und machte alles rückgängig, was er vorher mit ihm vertraglich vereinbart hatte.	Ma Antioco non volle accettare niente, anzi ritirò quanto aveva prima concesso a Simone e si inimicò con lui.	فابى انطيوكس ان يقبلها ونقض كل ما كان عاهده به من قبل وتغير عليه
15:28	He sent to him Athenobius, one of his Friends, to confer with him, saying, You hold control of Joppa and Gazara and the citadel in Jerusalem; they are cities of my kingdom.	Er schickte einen seiner Freunde namens Athenobius als Unterhändler zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Ihr habt Jafo, Geser und die Burg von Jerusalem besetzt, Städte meines Königreiches.	Poi gli inviò Atenobio, uno dei suoi amici, a trattare con lui in questi termini: «Voi occupate Giaffa, Ghezer e l'Acra in Gerusalemme, tutte città del mio regno.	و ارسل اليه اتينوبيوس احد اصحابه ليفاوضه قائلا انكم مستولون على يافا وجازر والقلعة التي باورشليم وهي من مدن مملكتي
15:29	You have devastated their territory, you have done great damage in the land, and you have taken possession of many places in my kingdom.	Ihr Gebiet habt ihr verwüstet und großen Schaden im Land angerichtet und viele Orte in meinem Reich habt ihr an euch gerissen.	Avete devastato il loro territorio e avete causato rovina grande nel paese e vi siete impadroniti di molte località nel mio regno.	و قد خربتم تخومها وضربتم الارض ضربة عظيمة وتسلطتم على اماكن كثيرة في مملكتي
15:30	Now then, hand over the cities that you have seized and the tribute money of the places that you have conquered outside the borders of Judea;	Nun gebt die Städte wieder heraus, die ihr besetzt habt; ebenso entrichtet die Steuern für die Orte außerhalb Judäas, die ihr euch angeeignet habt.	Ora, consegnate le città che avete occupate, insieme con i tributi delle località di cui vi siete impadroniti fuori del territorio della Giudea,	فالان اسلموا المدن التي استحوذتم عليها وادوا خراج الاماكن التي تسلطتم عليها في خارج تخوم اليهودية
15:31	or else pay me five hundred talents of silver for the destruction that you have caused and five hundred talents more for the tribute money of the cities. Otherwise we will come and make war on you.	Andernfalls gebt als Ersatz fünfhundert Talente Silber, weitere fünfhundert Talente für den Schaden, den ihr angerichtet habt, und für die Steuern der Städte. Sonst kommen wir und führen Krieg gegen euch.	oppure date in sostituzione cinquecento talenti d'argento e, in compenso dei danni arrecati e dei tributi delle città, altri cinquecento talenti; altrimenti verremo e vi muoveremo guerra».	و الا فادوا عنها خمس مئة قنطار فضة وعن الاتلاف الذي اتلفتموه وعن خراج المدن خمس مئة قنطار اخرى والا وفدنا عليكم مقاتلين
15:32	So Athenobius, the king's Friend, came to Jerusalem, and when he saw the splendor of Simon, and the sideboard with its gold and silver plate, and his great magnificence, he was amazed. When he reported to him the king's message,	Athenobius, der Freund des Königs, kam nach Jerusalem. Als er die Prachtentfaltung Simeons, den Schrank mit den goldenen und silbernen Geräten und den großen Hofstaat sah, war er sehr erstaunt. Er meldete Simeon die Worte des Königs;	Atenobio, l'amico del re, si recò in Gerusalemme e vide la gloria di Simone, il vasellame con lavori in oro e argento e il suo grande fasto, e ne rimase meravigliato; poi gli riferì le parole del re.	فجاء اتينوبيوس صاحب الملك الى اورشليم وشاهد مجد سمعان وخزانة انيته الفضية والذهبية واثاثا وافرا فبهت واخبرهبكلام الملك
15:33	Simon said to him in reply: We have neither taken foreign land nor seized foreign property, but only the inheritance of our ancestors, which at one time had been unjustly taken by our enemies.	doch der gab zur Antwort: Wir haben kein fremdes Land besetzt und uns nichts angeeignet, was uns nicht gehörte, sondern wir haben nur das Erbe unserer Väter zurückgeholt, das unsere Feinde zu Unrecht vorübergehend an sich gerissen hatten.	Simone gli rispose: «Non abbiamo occupato terra straniera né ci siamo impossessati di beni altrui ma dell'eredità dei nostri padri, che fu posseduta dai nostri nemici senza alcun diritto nel tempo passato.	فاجاب سمعان وقال له انا لم ناخذ ارضا لغريب ولم نستول على شيء لاجنبي ولكنه ميراث ابائنا الذي كان اعداؤنا قد استولوا عليه ظلما حينا من الدهر
15:34	Now that we have the opportunity, we are firmly holding the inheritance of our ancestors.	Wir nutzen nur die Gelegenheit und halten das Erbe unserer Väter fest.	Noi, avendone avuta l'opportunità, abbiamo ricuperato l'eredità dei nostri padri.	فلما اصبنا الفرصة استرددنا ميراث ابائنا
15:35	As for Joppa and Gazara, which you demand, they were causing great damage among the people and to our land; for them we will give you one hundred talents. Athenobius did not answer him a word,	Was aber Jafo und Geser betrifft, auf die du Anspruch erhebst, so ist zu sagen: Diese Städte haben unserem Volk und Land großen Schaden zugefügt. Wir wollen für sie hundert Talente zahlen. Athenobius gab ihm keine Antwort,	Quanto a Giaffa e a Ghezer, che tu reclami, esse causarono rovina grande nel nostro paese: per esse daremo cento talenti».	فاما يافا وجازر اللتان تطالب بهما فانهما كانتا تجلبان على الشعب في بلادنا نكبات شديدة غير انا نؤدي عنهما مئة قنطار فلم يجبه اتينوبيوس بكلمة
15:36	but returned in wrath to the king and reported to him these words, and also the splendor of Simon and all that he had seen. And the king was very angry.	sondern ging wütend zum König zurück. Er unterrichtete ihn über die Antwort Simeons, über seine Prachtentfaltung und über alles, was er gesehen hatte. Da geriet der König in heftigen Zorn.	Atenobio non gli rispose parola, ma tornò indispettito presso il re, al quale riferì quelle parole e la gloria di Simone e quanto aveva visto. Il re si adirò furiosamente.	و رجع الى الملك مغضبا واخبره بهذا الكلام وبمجد سمعان وكل ما شاهده فغضب الملك غضبا شديدا
15:37	Meanwhile Trypho embarked on a ship and escaped to Orthosia.	Tryphon entkam auf einem Schiff nach Orthosia.	Trifone intanto, salito su una nave, fuggì a Ortosia.	و ركب تريفون في سفينة وفر الى ارطوسياس
15:38	Then the king made Cendebeus commander-in-chief of the coastal country, and gave him troops of infantry and cavalry.	Der König ernannte Kendebäus zum Befehlshaber über die Küste und teilte ihm Fußtruppen und Reiterei zu.	Il re allora nominò Cendebèo primo stratega della zona litoranea e mise al suo comando forze di fanteria e cavalleria.	ففوض الملك قيادة الساحل الى كندباوس وجعل تحت يده جنودا من الرجالة وفرسانا
15:39	He commanded him to encamp against Judea, to build up Kedron and fortify its gates, and to make war on the people; but the king pursued Trypho.	Er gab ihm den Auftrag, an der Grenze Judäas ein Lager aufzuschlagen, den Ort Kidron auszubauen und mit festen Toren zu versehen, um gegen die Juden Krieg zu führen, während er selbst die Verfolgung des Tryphon aufnahm.	Poi gli ordinò di accamparsi in vista della Giudea e gli ordinò di ricostruire Cedron, rinforzando le porte, e di iniziare la guerra contro il popolo. Il re intanto coninuò la caccia a Trifone.	و امره ان يزحف على اليهودية واوعز اليه ان يبني قدرون ويحصن الابواب ويقاتل الشعب ثم ان الملك تعقب تريفون
15:40	So Cendebeus came to Jamnia and began to provoke the people and invade Judea and take the people captive and kill them.	Kendebäus zog nach Jamnia und begann, das jüdische Volk zu reizen, Überfälle auf Judäa zu machen, Juden gefangen zu nehmen und zu ermorden.	Cendebèo si recò a Iamnia e cominciò a molestare il popolo, a invadere la Giudea, a far prigionieri tra il popolo e metterli a morte.	فبلغ كندباوس الى يمنيا وجعل يرغم الشعب ويغير على اليهودية ويسبي في الشعب ويقتل وبني قدرون
15:41	He built up Kedron and stationed horsemen and troops there, so that they might go out and make raids along the highways of Judea, as the king had ordered him.	Er baute Kidron aus und legte Reiter und Fußtruppen hinein. Diese unternahmen Streifzüge auf den Straßen Judäas, wie ihnen der König befohlen hatte.	Egli ricostruì Cedron e vi dispose la cavalleria e la truppa perché potessero uscire e battere le strade della Giudea, come gli aveva ordinato il re.	و جعل فيها فرسانا وجنودا ليخرجوا وينتشروا في طرق اليهودية كما رسم له الملك
