9:1	Then Judith prostrated herself, put ashes on her head, and uncovered the sackcloth she was wearing. At the very time when the evening incense was being offered in the house of God in Jerusalem, Judith cried out to the Lord with a loud voice, and said,	Judit warf sich auf ihr Gesicht nieder, streute sich Asche auf das Haupt und öffnete das Bußgewand, das sie trug. Es war gerade die Zeit, zu der man an jenem Abend in Jerusalem im Haus Gottes das Rauchopfer darbrachte. 9:2	"O Lord God of my ancestor Simeon, to whom you gave a sword to take revenge on those strangers who had torn off a virgin's clothing to defile her, and exposed her thighs to put her to shame, and polluted her womb to disgrace her; for you said, 'It shall not be done' - yet they did it;	Herr, du Gott meines Stammvaters Simeon! Du hast ihm das Schwert in die Hand gegeben zur Bestrafung der Fremden, die den Gürtel der Jungfrau lösten, um sie zu beflecken, die ihre Schenkel entblößten, um sie zu schänden, und ihren Schoß entweihten zu ihrer Schande. Du hattest nämlich geboten: Das darf nicht geschehen. 9:3	so you gave up their rulers to be killed, and their bed, which was ashamed of the deceit they had practiced, was stained with blood, and you struck down slaves along with princes, and princes on their thrones.	Deswegen gabst du ihre Fürsten Mördern preis und tauchtest zur Vergeltung das Lager, das ihrer Arglist gedient hatte, in Blut; du erschlugst die Knechte samt ihren Herren, ja auch die Herren auf ihren Thronen. 9:4	You gave up their wives for booty and their daughters to captivity, and all their booty to be divided among your beloved children who burned with zeal for you and abhorred the pollution of their blood and called on you for help. O God, my God, hear me also, a widow.	Du gabst ihre Frauen dem Raub und ihre Töchter der Gefangenschaft preis und ihren ganzen Besitz gabst du deinen geliebten Söhnen; denn sie glühten vor Eifer für dich, hatten Abscheu vor der Befleckung ihres Blutes und riefen zu dir um Hilfe. Gott, mein Gott, erhöre auch mich, die Witwe! 9:5	For you have done these things and those that went before and those that followed. You have designed the things that are now, and those that are to come. What you had in mind has happened;	Du hast bewirkt, was damals war und auch was vorher und später geschah. Doch auch was jetzt geschieht und noch kommen wird, hast du erdacht und es ist eingetroffen, was du geplant hast.	Tu hai preordinato ciò che precedette quei fatti e i fatti stessi e ciò che seguì. Tu hai disposto le cose presenti e le future e quello che tu hai pensato si è compiuto.	“Pajatu ndinu amene mudachita zimene zidachitika nthaŵi imeneyo, ndi zimene zidaachitika kale ndiponso pambuyo pake. Zinthu zimene zilipo tsopano, ndi zimene zidzachitike, ndinu mudazikonzeratu. Zimene mudazikonza zidachitikadi.	فان طرائقك جميعها مهياة وقد اقمت احكامك بعنايتك
9:6	the things you decided on presented themselves and said, Here we are!' For all your ways are prepared in advance, and your judgment is with foreknowledge.	Deine Beschlüsse standen da und sagten: Hier sind wir! Denn alle deine Wege sind schon gebahnt und dein Gericht ist eine beschlossene Sache.	Le cose da te deliberate si sono presentate e hanno detto: Ecco ci siamo; perché tutte le tue vie sono preparate e i tuoi giudizi sono preordinati.	Zinthu zimene mudazifuna zidaoneka poyera ndi kunena kuti, ‘Tili pano.’ Paja Inu mumadziŵiratu zonse zimene muti muchite, ndipo mumazilamula mutaziganiziratu bwino.	فانظر الان الى معسكر الاشوريين كما تنازلت فنظرت الى معسكر المصريين حين كانوا يسعون في اثر عبيدك بسلاحهم متوكلين على مراكبهم وفرسانهم وعلى كثرة رجال حربهم
9:7	"Here now are the Assyrians, a greatly increased force, priding themselves in their horses and riders, boasting in the strength of their foot soldiers, and trusting in shield and spear, in bow and sling. They do not know that you are the Lord who crushes wars; the Lord is your name.	Sieh doch auf die Assyrer! Sie verfügen über ein gewaltiges Heer, brüsten sich mit ihren Rossen und Reitern, sind stolz auf die Schlagkraft ihres Fußvolkes, vertrauen auf ihre Schilde und Speere, ihre Bogen und Schleudern und wollen nicht einsehen, dass du der Herr bist, der den Kriegen ein Ende setzt. 9:8	Break their strength by your might, and bring down their power in your anger; for they intend to defile your sanctuary, and to pollute the tabernacle where your glorious name resides, and to break off the horns of your altar with the sword.	«Herr» ist dein Name. Brich ihre Stärke mit deiner Macht und vernichte ihre Kraft in deinem Zorn! Denn sie haben beschlossen, dein Heiligtum zu entweihen, das Zelt, in dem dein herrlicher Name wohnt, zu beflecken und die Hörner deines Altars mit dem Schwert abzuschlagen.	Signore è il tuo nome. Abbatti la loro forza con la tua potenza e rovescia la loro violenza con la tua ira: fanno conto di profanare il tuo santuario, di contaminare la Dimora ove riposa il tuo nome e la tua gloria, di abbattere con il ferro il corno del tuo altare. 9:9	Look at their pride, and send your wrath upon their heads. Give to me, a widow, the strong hand to do what I plan.	Schau dir ihren Übermut an und lass deinen Zorn auf ihr Haupt herabfahren! 9:10	By the deceit of my lips strike down the slave with the prince and the prince with his servant; crush their arrogance by the hand of a woman. 9:11	For your strength does not depend on numbers, nor your might on the powerful. But you are the God of the lowly, helper of the oppressed, upholder of the weak, protector of the forsaken, savior of those without hope.	Denn deine Macht stützt sich nicht auf die große Zahl, deine Herrschaft braucht keine starken Männer, sondern du bist der Gott der Schwachen und der Helfer der Geringen; du bist der Beistand der Armen, der Beschützer der Verachteten und der Retter der Hoffnungslosen. Mumapulumutsa otaya mtima.	فارفع ذراعك كما فعلت من البدء واحطم قوتهم بقوتك ولتسقط بغضبك قوة الذين يطمعون انفسهم في ابتذال اقداسك وتنجيس مسكن اسمك وهدم قرن مذبحك بسيفهم
9:12	Please, please, God of my father, God of the heritage of Israel, Lord of heaven and earth, Creator of the waters, King of all your creation, hear my prayer!	Ja, du Gott meines Vaters und Gott deines Erbbesitzes Israel, du Herr des Himmels und der Erde, Schöpfer der Meere und König deiner ganzen Schöpfung, erhöre mein Gebet!	Sì, sì, Dio del padre mio e di Israele tua eredità, Signore del cielo e della terra, creatore delle acque, re di tutte le tue creature, ascolta la mia preghiera;	Imvani pemphero langa, Inu Mulungu wa kholo langa Simeoni, Mulungu amene Aisraele amamkhulupirira, wolamulira dziko lakumwamba ndi dziko lapansi. Inu Mlengi wolenga mitsinje ndi nyanja, mfumu ya zonse, imvani pemphero langa.	اجعل يا رب كبرياءه تقطع بنفس سيفه
9:13	Make my deceitful words bring wound and bruise on those who have planned cruel things against your covenant, and against your sacred house, and against Mount Zion, and against the house your children possess.	Lass meine listigen Worte Wunden und Striemen schlagen bei denen, die gegen deinen Bund und dein heiliges Haus, gegen den Berg Zion und den Wohnsitz deiner Söhne Böses beschlossen haben.	fà che la mia parola e l'inganno diventino piaga e flagello di costoro, che fanno progetti crudeli contro la tua alleanza e il tuo tempio consacrato, contro il monte elevato di Sion e la sede dei tuoi figli. 9:14	Let your whole nation and every tribe know and understand that you are God, the God of all power and might, and that there is no other who protects the people of Israel but you alone!	Lass dein ganzes Volk und alle Stämme erkennen und wissen, dass du der wahre Gott bist, der Gott aller Macht und Stärke, und dass es für dein Volk Israel keinen anderen Beschützer gibt als dich allein.	Dà a tutto il tuo popolo e ad ogni tribù la prova che sei tu il Signore, il Dio d'ogni potere e d'ogni forza e non c'è altri fuori di te, che possa proteggere la stirpe d'Israele».
