In quei giorni venne a conoscenza della situazione Giuditta figlia di Merari, figlio di Oks, figlio di Giuseppe, figlio di Oziel, figlio di Elkia, figlio di Anania, figlio di Gedeone, figlio di Rafain, figlio di Achitob, figlio di Elia, figlio di Chelkia, figlio di Eliàb, figlio di Natanaèl, figlio di Salamiel, figlio di Sarasadai, figlio di Israele.	و لما سمعت هذا الكلام يهوديت الارملة وهي بنت مراري بن ايدوس ابن يوسف بن عزيا بن الاي ابن يمنور بن جدعون بن رفائيم بن احيطوب بن ملكيا ابن عانان بن نتنيا بن شالتيئيل بن شمعون بن راوبين
8:2	Her husband Manasseh, who belonged to her tribe and family, had died during the barley harvest.	Ihr Mann Manasse, der aus ihrem Stamm und ihrer Sippe war, hatte zur Zeit der Gerstenernte den Tod gefunden.	Suo marito era stato Manàsse, della stessa tribù e famiglia di lei; egli era morto al tempo della mietitura dell'orzo.	و كان بعلها منسى وقد مات في ايام حصاد الشعير
8:3	For as he stood overseeing those who were binding sheaves in the field, he was overcome by the burning heat, and took to his bed and died in his town Bethulia. So they buried him with his ancestors in the field between Dothan and Balamon.	Als er nämlich bei den Garbenbindern auf dem Feld stand, traf ihn ein Hitzschlag; er musste sich zu Bett legen und starb in seiner Heimatstadt Betulia. Man begrub ihn bei seinen Vätern auf dem Feld zwischen Dotan und Jibleam.	Mentre stava sorvegliando quelli che legavano i covoni nella campagna, il suo capo fu colpito da insolazione. Dovette mettersi a letto e morì in Betulia sua città e lo seppellirono con i suoi padri nel campo che sta tra Dotain e Balamon.	لانه كان يحث رابطي الحزم في الحقل فصخد الحر راسه فمات في بيت فلوى مدينته وقبر هناك مع ابائه
8:4	Judith remained as a widow for three years and four months	Nun lebte Judit schon drei Jahre und vier Monate als Witwe in ihrem Haus.	Giuditta era rimasta nella sua casa in stato di vedovanza ed erano passati gia tre anni e quattro mesi.	و كانت يهوديت قد بقيت ارملة منذ ثلاث سنين وستة اشهر
8:5	at home where she set up a tent for herself on the roof of her house. She put sackcloth around her waist and dressed in widow's clothing.	Sie hatte für sich auf dem flachen Dach ihres Hauses ein Zelt aufstellen lassen, hatte ein Trauergewand angelegt und trug die Kleider einer Witwe.	Si era fatta preparare una tenda sul terrazzo della sua casa, si era cinta i fianchi di sacco e portava le vesti delle vedove.	و كانت قد هيات لها في اعلى بيتها غرفة سرية وكانت تقيم فيها مع جواريها وتغلقها
8:6	She fasted all the days of her widowhood, except the day before the sabbath and the sabbath itself, the day before the new moon and the day of the new moon, and the festivals and days of rejoicing of the house of Israel.	Sie fastete, seit sie Witwe war, alle Tage, außer am Sabbat und am Vortag des Sabbats, am Neumond und am Vortag des Neumonds und an den Festen und Freudentagen des Hauses Israel.	Da quando era vedova digiunava tutti i giorni, eccetto le vigilie dei sabati e i sabati, le vigilie dei noviluni e i noviluni, le feste e i giorni di gioia per Israele.	و كان على حقويها مسح وكانت تصوم جميع ايام حياتها ما خلا السبوت ورؤوس الشهور واعياد ال اسرائيل
8:7	She was beautiful in appearance, and was very lovely to behold. Her husband Manasseh had left her gold and silver, men and women slaves, livestock, and fields; and she maintained this estate.	Sie hatte eine schöne Gestalt und ein blühendes Aussehen. Ihr Gatte Manasse hatte ihr Gold und Silber, Knechte und Mägde, Vieh und Felder hinterlassen, die sie in ihrem Besitz hielt.	Era bella d'aspetto e molto avvenente nella persona; inoltre suo marito Manàsse le aveva lasciato oro e argento, schiavi e schiave, armenti e terreni ed essa era rimasta padrona di tutto.	و كانت جميلة المنظر جدا وقد ترك لها بعلها ثروة واسعة وحشما كثيرين واملاكا مملوءة باصورة البقر وقطعان الغنم
8:8	No one spoke ill of her, for she feared God with great devotion.	Niemand konnte ihr etwas Böses nachsagen, denn sie war sehr gottesfürchtig.	Né alcuno poteva dire una parola maligna a suo riguardo, perché temeva molto Dio.	و كانت لها شهرة بين جميع الناس من اجل انها كانت تتقي الرب جدا ولم يكن احد يقول عليها كلمة سوء
8:9	When Judith heard the harsh words spoken by the people against the ruler, because they were faint for lack of water, and when she heard all that Uzziah said to them, and how he promised them under oath to surrender the town to the Assyrians after five da	Judit hörte von den Vorwürfen des Volkes gegen das Stadtoberhaupt, als es wegen des Wassermangels den Mut verlor. Ebenso erfuhr sie, was Usija den Leuten geantwortet hatte und dass er ihnen unter Eid versprochen hatte, nach Ablauf von fünf Tagen die Stadt an die Assyrer auszuliefern.	Venne dunque a sapere le parole esasperate rivolte dal popolo alle autorità, perché erano demoralizzati per la mancanza d'acqua, e anche Giuditta seppe di tutte le risposte che aveva date loro Ozia e come avesse giurato loro di consegnare la città agli Assiri dopo cinque giorni.	فهذه لما سمعت ان عزيا وعد بان يسلم المدينة بعد خمسة ايام انفذت الى الشيخين كبري وكرمي
8:10	she sent her maid, who was in charge of all she possessed, to summon Uzziah and Chabris and Charmis, the elders of her town.	Da ließ sie durch ihre Dienerin, die ihrem ganzen Hauswesen vorstand, die Ältesten ihrer Heimatstadt, Kabri und Karmi, herbeiholen.	Subito mandò la sua ancella particolare che aveva in cura tutte le sue sostanze a chiamare Cabri e Carmi, che erano gli anziani della sua città.	فوافياها فقالت لهما ما هذا الامر الذي وافق عليه عزيا ان يسلم المدينة الى الاشوريين اذا لم تاتنا معونة الى خمسة ايام
8:11	They came to her, and she said to them: Listen to me, rulers of the people of Bethulia! What you have said to the people today is not right; you have even sworn and pronounced this oath between God and you, promising to surrender the town to our enemies u	Als sie zu ihr kamen, sagte sie zu ihnen: Hört mich an, ihr Vorsteher der Einwohner von Betulia! Es war nicht recht, was ihr heute vor dem Volk gesagt habt. Durch diesen Eid, den ihr geschworen habt, habt ihr Gott und euch selbst festgelegt; denn ihr habt erklärt, dass ihr die Stadt unseren Feinden ausliefern wollt, wenn der Herr euch nicht inzwischen Hilfe schickt.	Vennero da lei ed essa disse loro: «Ascoltatemi bene, voi capi dei cittadini di Betulia. Non è stato affatto conveniente il discorso che oggi avete tenuto al popolo, aggiungendo il giuramento che avete pronunziato e interposto tra voi e Dio, di mettere la città in mano ai nostri nemici, se nel frattempo il Signore non vi avrà mandato aiuto.	من انتم حتى تجربوا الرب
8:12	Who are you to put God to the test today, and to set yourselves up in the place of God in human affairs?	Wer seid ihr denn, dass ihr am heutigen Tag Gott auf die Probe stellt und euch vor allen Leuten an die Stelle Gottes setzt?	Chi siete voi dunque che avete tentato Dio in questo giorno e vi siete posti al di sopra di lui, mentre non siete che uomini?	ليس هذا بكلام يستعطف الرحمة ولكنه بالاحرى يهيج الغضب ويضرم السخط
8:13	You are putting the Lord Almighty to the test, but you will never learn anything!	Ihr wollt den Herrn, den Allmächtigen, auf die Probe stellen und kommt doch ewig zu keiner Erkenntnis.	Certo, voi volete mettere alla prova il Signore onnipotente, ma non ci capirete niente, né ora né mai.	فانكم قد ضربتم اجلا لرحمة الرب وعينتم له يوما كما شئتم
8:14	You cannot plumb the depths of the human heart or understand the workings of the human mind; how do you expect to search out God, who made all these things, and find out his mind or comprehend his thought? No, my brothers, do not anger the Lord our God.	Nicht einmal die Tiefe des Menschenherzens könnt ihr ergründen und die Gedanken seines Geistes erfassen. Wie wollt ihr dann Gott erforschen, der das alles geschaffen hat? Wie wollt ihr seine Gedanken erkennen und seine Absichten verstehen? Nein, meine Brüder, reizt den Herrn, unseren Gott, nicht zum Zorn!	Se non siete capaci di scorgere il fondo del cuore dell'uomo né di afferrare i pensieri della sua mente, come potrete scrutare il Signore, che ha fatto tutte queste cose, e conoscere i suoi pensieri o comprendere i suoi disegni? No, fratelli, non vogliate irritare il Signore nostro Dio.	و لكن بما ان الرب طويل الاناة فلنندم على هذا ونلتمس غفرانه بالدموع المسكوبة
8:15	For if he does not choose to help us within these five days, he has power to protect us within any time he pleases, or even to destroy us in the presence of our enemies.	Auch wenn er nicht gewillt ist, uns in diesen fünf Tagen Hilfe zu schaffen, so hat doch er zu bestimmen, zu welcher Zeit er uns helfen oder uns vor den Augen unserer Feinde vernichten will.	Se non vorrà aiutarci in questi cinque giorni, egli ha pieno potere di difenderci nei giorni che vuole o anche di farci distruggere da parte dei nostri nemici.	انه ليس وعيد الله كوعيد الانسان ولا هو يستشيط حنقا كابن البشر
8:16	Do not try to bind the purposes of the Lord our God; for God is not like a human being, to be threatened, or like a mere mortal, to be won over by pleading.	Versucht nicht, die Entscheidungen des Herrn, unseres Gottes, zu erzwingen; denn Gott ist nicht wie ein Mensch, dem man drohen kann, und wie ein Menschenkind, das man beeinflussen kann.	E voi non pretendete di impegnare i piani del Signore Dio nostro, perché Dio non è come un uomo che gli si possan fare minacce e pressioni come ad uno degli uomini.	لذلك فلنذلل له انفسنا ونعبده بروح متواضع
8:17	Therefore, while we wait for his deliverance, let us call upon him to help us, and he will hear our voice, if it pleases him.	Darum wollen wir die Rettung von ihm erwarten und ihn um Hilfe anrufen. Er wird unser Flehen erhören, wenn es seinem Willen entspricht.	Perciò attendiamo fiduciosi la salvezza che viene da lui, supplichiamolo che venga in nostro aiuto e ascolterà il nostro grido se a lui piacerà.	و لنسال الرب باكين ان يؤتينا رحمته بحسب مشيئته لنفتخر بتواضعنا مثلما اضطربت قلوبنا بتكبرهم
8:18	For never in our generation, nor in these present days, has there been any tribe or family or people or town of ours that worships gods made with hands, as was done in days gone by.	Denn eines gab es bei uns nicht und gibt es auch heute nicht: Es gibt weder einen Stamm noch eine Familie, weder einen Gau noch eine Stadt, die von Menschen gemachte Götter anbeten, wie es in früherer Zeit geschah.	Realmente in questa nostra generazione non c'è mai stata, né esiste oggi una tribù o famiglia o popolo o città tra di noi, che adori gli dei fatti da mano d'uomo, come è avvenuto nei tempi passati.	فانا لم نجر على خطايا ابائنا الذين تركوا الههم وعبدوا الهة غريبة
8:19	That was why our ancestors were handed over to the sword and to pillage, and so they suffered a great catastrophe before our enemies.	Damals wurden unsere Väter dem Schwert und der Plünderung preisgegeben und mussten vor den Augen unserer Feinde schwere Niederlagen erleiden.	Per questo motivo i nostri padri furono abbandonati alla spada e alla devastazione e caddero rovinosamente davanti ai loro nemici.	فاسلموا من اجل ذلك الاثم الى السيف والنهب والخزي بين اعدائهم لكنا نحن لا نعرف الها غيره
8:20	But we know no other god but him, and so we hope that he will not disdain us or any of our nation.	Wir aber kennen keinen anderen Gott als ihn allein. Daher dürfen wir hoffen, dass er uns und unser Volk nicht im Stich lassen wird.	Noi invece non riconosciamo altro Dio fuori di lui e per questo speriamo che egli non trascurerà noi e neppure la nostra nazione.	فنترجى بالتواضع تعزيته وهو ينتقم لدمنا عن اعنات اعدائنا لنا ويذل جميع الامم الواثبين علينا ويخزيهم الرب الهنا
8:21	For if we are captured, all Judea will be captured and our sanctuary will be plundered; and he will make us pay for its desecration with our blood.	Wenn wir nämlich überwältigt werden, dann wird auch ganz Judäa erobert und unser Heiligtum geplündert werden. Von uns aber wird Gott für die Entweihung des Heiligtums blutige Rechenschaft fordern.	Perché se noi saremo presi, resterà presa anche tutta la Giudea e sarà saccheggiato il nostro santuario e Dio chiederà ragione di quella profanazione al nostro sangue.	و الان يا اخوتي بما انكم انتم شيوخ في شعب الله وبكم نفوسهم منوطة فانهضوا قلوبهم بكلامكم حتى يذكروا ان اباءنا انما ورد عليهم البلاء ليمتحنوا هل يعبدون الههم بالحق
8:22	The slaughter of our kindred and the captivity of the land and the desolation of our inheritance-all this he will bring on our heads among the Gentiles, wherever we serve as slaves; and we shall be an offense and a disgrace in the eyes of those who acquir	Uns wird er die Ermordung unserer Brüder, die Entvölkerung des Landes, die Verwüstung unseres Erbbesitzes zur Last legen, inmitten der Heiden, bei denen wir als Sklaven dienen und unseren Herren Anlass zu Spott und Verachtung sein werden.	L'uccisione dei nostri fratelli, l'asservimento della patria, la devastazione della nostra eredità Dio la farà ricadere sul nostro capo in mezzo ai popoli pagani tra i quali ci capiterà di essere schiavi e saremo così motivo di scandalo e di disprezzo di fronte ai nostri padroni.	فينبغي لهم ان يذكروا كيف امتحن ابونا ابراهيم وبعد ان جرب بشدائد كثيرة صار خليلا لله
8:23	For our slavery will not bring us into favor, but the Lord our God will turn it to dishonor.	Unsere Knechtschaft wird dann nicht mehr zum Guten gewendet werden, sondern der Herr, unser Gott, wird sie für uns zur Schande werden lassen.	La nostra schiavitù non ci guadagnerà alcun favore, perché la porrà a nostro disonore il Signore Dio nostro.	و هكذا اسحق وهكذا يعقوب وهكذا موسى وجميع الذين رضي الله منهم جازوا في شدائد كثيرة وبقوا على امانتهم
8:24	Therefore, my brothers, let us set an example for our kindred, for their lives depend upon us, and the sanctuary-both the temple and the altar-rests upon us.	Daher, liebe Brüder, wollen wir jetzt unseren Stammesbrüdern beweisen, dass wir für ihr Leben einstehen und dass das Heiligtum, der Tempel und der Altar, sich auf uns verlassen können.	Dunque, fratelli, dimostriamo ai nostri fratelli che la loro vita dipende da noi, che i nostri sacri pegni, il tempio e l'altare, poggiano su di noi.	فاما الذين لم يقبلوا البلايا بخشية الرب بل ابدوا جزعهم وعاد تذمرهم على الرب
8:25	In spite of everything let us give thanks to the Lord our God, who is putting us to the test as he did our ancestors.	Bei alldem aber lasst uns dem Herrn, unserem Gott, danken, dass er uns ebenso prüft wie schon unsere Väter.	Oltre tutto ringraziamo il Signore Dio nostro che ci mette alla prova, come ha gia fatto con i nostri padri.	فاستاصلهم المستاصل وهلكوا بالحيات
8:26	Remember what he did with Abraham, and how he tested Isaac, and what happened to Jacob in Syrian Mesopotamia, while he was tending the sheep of Laban, his mother's brother.	Denkt daran, was er mit Abraham machte, wie er Isaak prüfte und was Jakob im syrischen Mesopotamien erlebte, als er die Schafe Labans, des Bruders seiner Mutter, hütete.	Ricordatevi quanto ha fatto con Abramo, quali prove ha fatto passare ad Isacco e quanto è avvenuto a Giacobbe in Mesopotamia di Siria, quando pascolava i greggi di Làbano suo zio materno.	و اما نحن الان فلا نجزع لما نقاسيه
8:27	For he has not tried us with fire, as he did them, to search their hearts, nor has he taken vengeance on us; but the Lord scourges those who are close to him in order to admonish them.	Denn wie er diese Männer im Feuer geläutert hat, um ihr Herz zu prüfen, so hat er auch mit uns kein Strafgericht vor, sondern der Herr züchtigt seine Freunde, um sie zur Einsicht zu führen.	Certo, come ha passato al crogiuolo costoro non altrimenti che per saggiare il loro cuore, così ora non vuol far vendetta di noi, ma è a fine di correzione che il Signore castiga coloro che gli stanno vicino».	بل لنحسب ان هذه العقوبات هي دون خطايانا ونعتقد ان ضربات الرب التي نؤدب بها كالعبيد انما هي للاصلاح لا للاهلاك
8:28	Then Uzziah said to her, All that you have said was spoken out of a true heart, and there is no one who can deny your words.	Da sagte Usija zu ihr: Alles, was du gesagt hast, kam aus einem edlen Herzen und es gibt niemand, der deinen Worten widersprechen kann.	Allora rispose a lei Ozia: «Quanto hai detto, l'hai proferito con cuore retto e nessuno può contraddire alle tue parole.	فقال لها عزيا والشيوخ جميع مقالك حق ولا عيب في كلماتك
8:29	Today is not the first time your wisdom has been shown, but from the beginning of your life all the people have recognized your understanding, for your heart's disposition is right.	Deine Weisheit wird ja nicht erst heute offenbar, sondern schon von deiner frühesten Jugend an kennt das ganze Volk deine Einsicht und weiß, wie edel die Gedanken deines Herzens sind.	Poiché non da oggi è manifesta la tua saggezza, ma dall	فالان صلي عنا لانك امراة قديسة متقية لله
8:30	But the people were so thirsty that they compelled us to do for them what we have promised, and made us take an oath that we cannot break.	Aber das Volk leidet furchtbaren Durst; sie zwangen uns zu tun, was wir ihnen versprochen haben, und einen Eid auf uns zu laden, den wir nicht brechen dürfen.		فقالت لهم يهوديت كما انكم عرفتم ان ما تكلمت به هو من قبل الله
8:31	Now since you are a God-fearing woman, pray for us, so that the Lord may send us rain to fill our cisterns. Then we will no longer feel faint from thirst.	Doch bete du jetzt für uns, denn du bist eine gottesfürchtige Frau. Dann wird der Herr Regen schicken, um unsere Zisternen zu füllen, und wir brauchen nicht zu verschmachten.		فاعلموا عن خبرة ان ما عزمت عليه هو من قبل الله وصلوا حتى يؤيد الله مشورتي
8:32	Then Judith said to them, Listen to me. I am about to do something that will go down through all generations of our descendants.	Da sagte Judit zu ihnen: Hört mich an! Ich will eine Tat vollbringen, von der man noch in fernsten Zeiten den Kindern unseres Volkes erzählen wird.		ففي هذه الليلة تقفون انتم على الباب وانا اخرج مع وصيفتي وصلوا ان ينظر الرب الى شعبه اسرائيل خمسة ايام كما قلتم
8:33	Stand at the town gate tonight so that I may go out with my maid; and within the days after which you have promised to surrender the town to our enemies, the Lord will deliver Israel by my hand.	Kommt diese Nacht an das Tor, wenn ich mit meiner Dienerin hinausgehe. Bevor die Frist abgelaufen ist, die ihr für die Übergabe der Stadt an unsere Feinde gesetzt habt, wird der Herr durch meine Hand Israel gnädig Hilfe bringen.		و انا لا احب ان تفحصوا عن قصدي ومن الان حتى اعلمكم به لا تصنعوا شيئا غير الصلاة عني الى الرب الهنا
8:34	Only, do not try to find out what I am doing; for I will not tell you until I have finished what I am about to do.	Fragt nicht nach meinem Vorhaben; denn ich werde euch nichts mitteilen, bevor das vollendet ist, was ich tun will.		فقال لها عزيا امير يهوذا اذهبي بسلام وليكن الرب معك في الانتقام من اعدائنا وانصرفوا راجعين
8:35	Uzziah and the rulers said to her, Go in peace, and may the Lord God go before you, to take vengeance on our enemies.	Da sagten Usija und die Stadtältesten zu ihr: Geh in Frieden! Gott, der Herr, sei dein Führer bei dem Strafgericht an unseren Feinden.
8:36	So they returned from the tent and went to their posts.	Dann verließen sie das Zelt und kehrten auf ihre Posten zurück.
