4:1	When the Israelites living in Judea heard of everything that Holofernes, the general of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of the Assyrians, had done to the nations, and how he had plundered and destroyed all their temples,	Die Israeliten, die in Judäa wohnten, hörten von allem, was Holofernes, der oberste Feldherr des Assyrerkönigs Nebukadnezzar, den Völkern angetan und wie er alle ihre Heiligtümer geplündert und vernichtet hatte.	Quando gli Israeliti che abitavano in tutta la Giudea sentirono per fama quanto Oloferne, il comandante supremo di Nabucodònosor, aveva fatto agli altri popoli e come aveva messo a sacco tutti i loro templi e li aveva votati allo sterminio,	و سمع بنو اسرائيل المقيمون بارض يهوذا فخافوا جدا من وجهه
4:2	they were therefore greatly terrified at his approach; they were alarmed both for Jerusalem and for the temple of the Lord their God.	Da befiel sie Furcht und Schrecken vor ihm und sie hatten Angst um Jerusalem und den Tempel des Herrn, ihres Gottes.	furono presi da indescrivibile terrore all'avanzarsi di lui e furono costernati a causa di Gerusalemme e del tempio del Signore, loro Dio.	و اخذ الارتعاد بفرائصهم مخافة ان يفعل باورشليم وبهيكل الرب كما فعل بسائر المدن وهياكلها
4:3	For they had only recently returned from exile, and all the people of Judea had just now gathered together, and the sacred vessels and the altar and the temple had been consecrated after their profanation.	Denn sie waren noch nicht lange aus der Gefangenschaft heimgekehrt; erst kürzlich hatte sich das ganze Volk von Judäa wieder gesammelt und waren die heiligen Geräte, der Altar und der Tempel nach der Entweihung neu geweiht worden.	Oltre tutto, essi erano tornati da poco dalla prigionia e di recente tutto il popolo si era radunato in Giudea; erano stati consacrati gli arredi sacri e l'altare e il tempio dopo la profanazione.	فارسلوا الى جميع السامرة في كل وجه الى حد اريحا وضبطوا رؤوس الجبال كلها
4:4	So they sent word to every district of Samaria, and to Kona, Beth-horon, Belmain, and Jericho, and to Choba and Aesora, and the valley of Salem.	Sie schickten Boten in das ganze Gebiet von Samarien und Kona, nach Bet-Horon, Abel-Majim und Jericho sowie nach Choba, Hazor und in das Tal von Salim.	Perciò spedirono messaggeri in tutto il territorio della Samaria, a Kona, a Bet-Coron, a Belmain, a Gerico e ancora a Choba, ad Aisora e alle strette di Salem,	و سوروا قراهم وجمعوا الحنطة استعدادا للقتال
4:5	They immediately seized all the high hilltops and fortified the villages on them and stored up food in preparation for war-since their fields had recently been harvested.	Sie besetzten alle hohen Bergkuppen, befestigten die Ortschaften und versahen sie mit Lebensmitteln für den Krieg, denn ihre Felder waren eben abgeerntet worden.	e disposero di occupare in anticipo le cime dei monti più alti, di circondare di mura i villaggi di quelle zone e di raccogliere vettovaglie in preparazione alla guerra, tanto più che nelle loro campagne era appena terminata la mietitura.	و كتب الياقيم الكاهن الى جميع الساكنين قبالة يزرعيل التي حيال الصحراء الكبيرة الى جانب دوتان والى جميع الذين يمكن ان يجاز في اراضيهم
4:6	The high priest, Joakim, who was in Jerusalem at the time, wrote to the people of Bethulia and Betomesthaim, which faces Esdraelon opposite the plain near Dothan,	Jojakim, der zu jener Zeit Hoherpriester in Jerusalem war, schrieb an die Einwohner von Betulia und Betomestajim, das Jesreel gegenüber vor der Ebene nahe bei Dotan liegt,	Inoltre Ioakìm, sommo sacerdote in Gerusalemme in quel periodo di tempo, scrisse agli abitanti di Betulia e Betomestaim, situata di fronte a Esdrelon all'imbocco della pianura che si stende vicino a Dotain,	ان يضبطوا مراقي الجبال التي يمكن ان تسلك الى اورشليم ويحفظوا المضايق التي يمكن ان يجاز منها بين الجبال
4:7	ordering them to seize the mountain passes, since by them Judea could be invaded; and it would be easy to stop any who tried to enter, for the approach was narrow, wide enough for only two at a time to pass.	sie sollten die Gebirgspässe besetzt halten. Durch sie konnte man nach Judäa vordringen. Es war aber auch leicht, den Vormarsch der Heranrückenden dort aufzuhalten; die Gebirgswege waren nämlich so schmal, dass jeweils nur zwei Mann nebeneinander hindurchgehen konnten.	ordinando loro di occupare i valichi dei monti, perché di là si apriva la via d'ingresso alla Giudea e sarebbe stato facile arrestarli al valico, dove erano obbligati per la strettezza del passaggio a procedere tutti a due a due.	ففعل بنو اسرائيل كما رسم كاهن الرب الياقيم
4:8	So the Israelites did as they had been ordered by the high priest Joakim and the senate of the whole people of Israel, in session at Jerusalem.	Die Israeliten taten, was ihnen der Hohepriester Jojakim und die Ältesten des ganzen Volkes Israel in Jerusalem befohlen hatten.	Gli Israeliti fecero come aveva loro ordinato il sommo sacerdote Ioakìm e il consiglio degli anziani di tutto il popolo d'Israele, che si trovava a Gerusalemme.	و صرخ كل الشعب الى الرب بابتهال عظيم وذللوا نفوسهم بالصوم والصلاة هم ونساؤهم
4:9	And every man of Israel cried out to God with great fervor, and they humbled themselves with much fasting.	Alle Männer Israels aber flehten Gott inständig an und taten Buße unter strengem Fasten.	Nello stesso tempo ogni Israelita levò il suo grido a Dio con fervida insistenza e tutti si umiliarono con grande impegno.	و لبس الكهنة المسوح وطرحوا الاطفال امام هيكل الرب وغطوا مذبح الرب بمسح
4:10	They and their wives and their children and their cattle and every resident alien and hired laborer and purchased slave-they all put sackcloth around their waists.	Sie selbst, ihre Frauen, ihre Kinder und ihr Vieh, aber auch alle Fremden, die bei ihnen wohnten, die Tagelöhner und Sklaven, legten Bußgewänder an.	Essi con le mogli e i bambini, i loro armenti e ogni ospite e mercenario e i loro schiavi si cinsero di sacco i fianchi.	و صرخوا جملة الى الرب اله اسرائيل ان لا يجعل اطفالهم غنيمة ونساءهم مقتسما للاعداء ومدنهم خرابا واقداسهم نجاسة واياهم عارا بين الامم
4:11	And all the Israelite men, women, and children living at Jerusalem prostrated themselves before the temple and put ashes on their heads and spread out their sackcloth before the Lord.	Alle Israeliten in Jerusalem, ihre Frauen und Kinder warfen sich vor dem Tempel nieder, streuten sich vor dem Herrn Asche auf das Haupt und legten Bußgewänder an.	Ogni uomo o donna israelita e i fanciulli che abitavano in Gerusalemme si prostrarono davanti al tempio e cosparsero il capo di cenere e, vestiti di sacco, alzarono le mani davanti al Signore.	و جال الياقيم كاهن الرب العظيم في جميع اسرائيل وكلمهم قائلا
4:12	They even draped the altar with sackcloth and cried out in unison, praying fervently to the God of Israel not to allow their infants to be carried off and their wives to be taken as booty, and the towns they had inherited to be destroyed, and the sanctuar	Selbst den Altar umhüllten sie mit einem Bußgewand. Sie schrien alle einmütig in stürmischen Gebeten zu dem Gott Israels, er möge doch nicht zulassen, dass man ihre Kinder raube, ihre Frauen als Beute verteile, die Städte ihres Erbbesitzes zerstöre und das Heiligtum entweihe und verwüste, zum Gespött für die Heiden.	Ricoprirono di sacco anche l'altare e alzarono il loro grido al Dio di Israele tutt'insieme senza interruzione, supplicando che i loro figli non venissero abbandonati allo sterminio, le loro mogli alla schiavitù, le città di loro eredità alla distruzione, il santuario alla profanazione e al ludibrio in mano alle genti.	اعلموا ان الرب يستجيب لصلواتكم ان واظبتم على الصوم والصلوات امام الرب
4:13	The Lord heard their prayers and had regard for their distress; for the people fasted many days throughout Judea and in Jerusalem before the sanctuary of the Lord Almighty.	Und der Herr hörte ihr Rufen und sah auf ihre Not. Das Volk fastete mehrere Tage lang in ganz Judäa und in Jerusalem vor dem Heiligtum des Herrn, des Allmächtigen.	Il Signore porse l'orecchio al loro grido e volse lo sguardo alla loro tribolazione, mentre il popolo digiunava da molti giorni in tutta la Giudea e in Gerusalemme davanti al santuario del Signore onnipotente.	اذكروا موسى عبد الرب كيف قهر العمالقة الذين كانوا متكلين على باسهم وقدرتهم وجيشهم وتروسهم ومراكبهم وفرسانهم فقهرهم مقاتلا لا بالسيف بل بالصلوات الطاهرة
4:14	The high priest Joakim and all the priests who stood before the Lord and ministered to the Lord, with sackcloth around their loins, offered the daily burnt offerings, the votive offerings, and freewill offerings of the people.	Auch der Hohepriester Jojakim mit der ganzen Priesterschaft im Tempel und den Dienern des Herrn legten Bußgewänder an; so brachten sie das tägliche Brandopfer dar und dazu die gelobten und die freiwilligen Opfergaben des Volkes.	Ioakìm sommo sacerdote e tutti gli altri sacerdoti che stavano davanti al Signore e tutti i ministri del culto divino, con i fianchi cinti di sacco, offrivano l'olocausto perenne, i sacrifici votivi e le offerte volontarie del popolo.	هكذا يكون جميع اعداء اسرائيل اذا واظبتم على العمل الذي بداتم به
4:15	With ashes on their turbans, they cried out to the Lord with all their might to look with favor on the whole house of Israel.	Auf ihren Kopfbund hatten sie Asche gestreut und sie riefen mit aller Macht zum Herrn, er möge doch gnädig auf das ganze Haus Israel herabschauen.	Avevano cosparso di cenere i loro turbanti e invocavano a piena voce il Signore, perché provvedesse benignamente a tutta la casa di Israele.	و اذ خاطبهم بهذا الكلام تضرعوا الى الرب وكانوا لا يبرحون من امام الرب
