3:2	it came about that the kings themselves honored the place and glorified the temple with the finest presents,	Darum ehrten sogar die Könige den Ort und schmückten das Heiligtum mit den kostbarsten Weihegaben.	gli stessi re avevano preso ad onorare il luogo santo e a glorificare il tempio con doni insigni,	كان الملوك انفسهم يعظمون المقدس ويكرمون الهيكل بافخر التقادم
3:3	even to the extent that King Seleucus of Asia defrayed from his own revenues all the expenses connected with the service of the sacrifices.	So bestritt Seleukus, der König Asiens, aus seinen eigenen Einkünften alle Kosten, die durch den Opferdienst entstanden.	al punto che Selèuco, re dell'Asia, provvedeva con le proprie entrate a tutte le spese riguardanti il servizio dei sacrifici.	حتى ان سلوقس ملك اسية كان يؤدي من دخله الخاص جميع النفقات المختصة بتقديم الذبائح
3:4	But a man named Simon, of the tribe of Benjamin, who had been made captain of the temple, had a disagreement with the high priest about the administration of the city market.	Ein gewisser Simeon aus dem Stamm Benjamin war als Tempelvorsteher eingesetzt worden. Er entzweite sich jedoch mit dem Hohenpriester wegen der Marktordnung in der Stadt.	Ma un certo Simone della tribù di Bilga, nominato sovrintendente del tempio, venne a trovarsi in contrasto con il sommo sacerdote intorno all'amministrazione della città.	و ان رجلا اسمه سمعان من سبط بنيامين كان مقلدا الوكالة على الهيكل وقعت مخاصمة بينه وبين الكاهن الاعظم لاجل ظلم جناه علىالمدينة
3:5	Since he could not prevail over Onias, he went to Apollonius of Tarsus, who at that time was governor of Coelesyria and Phoenicia,	Weil er sich gegen Onias nicht durchsetzen konnte, ging er zu Apollonius, dem Sohn des Tharseas, der damals Befehlshaber in Zölesyrien und Phönizien war.	Non potendo aver ragione con Onia, si recò da Apollonio di Tarso, che in quel periodo era stratega della Celesiria e della Fenicia,	و اذ لم يمكنه التغلب على اونيا انطلق الى ابلونيوس بن ترساوس وكان اذ ذاك قائدا في بقاع سورية وفينيقية
3:6	and reported to him that the treasury in Jerusalem was full of untold sums of money, so that the amount of the funds could not be reckoned, and that they did not belong to the account of the sacrifices, but that it was possible for them to fall under the	Er erzählte ihm, der Tempelschatz in Jerusalem sei voll von unvorstellbaren Reichtümern; unzählbar sei die Menge des Geldes. Sie stehe in keinem Verhältnis zu dem, was man für die Opfer aufwenden müsse, und lasse sich leicht für den König beschlagnahmen.	e gli riferì che il tesoro di Gerusalemme era colmo di ricchezze immense tanto che l'ammontare del capitale era incalcolabile e non serviva per le spese dei sacrifici; era quindi ben possibile ridurre tutto in potere del re.	و اخبره ان الخزانة التي في اورشليم مشحونة من الاموال بما لا يستطاع وصفه حتى ان الدخل لا يحصى لكثرته وان ذلك ليس بمختص بنفقة الذبائح فيتهيا للملك ادخال ذلك كله في حوزته
3:7	When Apollonius met the king, he told him of the money about which he had been informed. The king chose Heliodorus, who was in charge of his affairs, and sent him with commands to effect the removal of the reported wealth.	Als Apollonius mit dem König zusammentraf, berichtete er, was man ihm über die Gelder hinterbracht hatte. Der aber bestimmte seinen Kanzler Heliodor und schickte ihn auf den Weg mit dem Auftrag, sich die erwähnten Gelder ausliefern zu lassen.	Apollonio si incontrò con il re e gli riferì intorno alle ricchezze a lui denunciate; quegli designò l'incaricato degli affari Eliodòro e lo inviò con l'ordine di effettuare il prelevamento delle suddette ricchezze.	ففاوض ابلونيوس الملك واعلمه بالاموال التي وصفت له فاختار هليودورس قيم المصالح وارسله وامره بجلب الاموال المذكورة
3:8	Heliodorus at once set out on his journey, ostensibly to make a tour of inspection of the cities of Coelesyria and Phoenicia, but in fact to carry out the king's purpose.	Heliodor machte sich sofort auf die Reise, angeblich um die Städte in Zölesyrien und Phönizien zu besuchen, in Wirklichkeit jedoch, um das Vorhaben des Königs auszuführen.	Eliodòro si mise subito in viaggio, in apparenza per visitare le città della Celesiria e della Fenicia, in realtà per compiere l'incarico del re.	فتوجه هليودورس لساعته قاصدا في الظاهر التطوف في مدن بقاع سورية وفينيقية وكان في الواقع يقصد انفاذ مرام الملك
3:9	When he had arrived at Jerusalem and had been kindly welcomed by the high priest of the city, he told about the disclosure that had been made and stated why he had come, and he inquired whether this really was the situation.	Als er nach Jerusalem kam, wurde er vom Hohenpriester der Stadt freundlich empfangen. Da gab er bekannt, welche Anzeige gemacht worden sei, und teilte den wahren Grund seiner Anwesenheit mit. Er fragte, ob sich die Sache wirklich so verhalte.	Giunto a Gerusalemme e accolto con deferenza dal sommo sacerdote della città, espose le segnalazioni ricevute e disse chiaro il motivo per cui era venuto; domandava poi se le cose stavano realmente così.	فلما جاء اورشليم احسن الكاهن الاعظم ملتقاه فحدثه بما كوشفوا به وصرح له بسبب قدومه وساله هل الامر في الحقيقة كماذكر له
3:10	The high priest explained that there were some deposits belonging to widows and orphans,	Der Hohepriester erklärte ihm, es handele sich um hinterlegtes Gut von Witwen und Waisen;	Il sommo sacerdote gli spiegò che quelli erano i depositi delle vedove e degli orfani;	فذكر له الكاهن الاعظم ان المال هو ودائع للارامل واليتامى
3:11	and also some money of Hyrcanus son of Tobias, a man of very prominent position, and that it totaled in all four hundred talents of silver and two hundred of gold. To such an extent the impious Simon had misrepresented the facts.	ein Teil gehöre auch Hyrkanus, dem Sohn des Tobija, einem sehr einflussreichen Mann. - So hatte der ruchlose Simeon gelogen. - Alles zusammen belaufe sich nur auf vierhundert Talente Silber und zweihundert Talente Gold.	che una parte era anche di Ircano, figlio di Tobia, persona di condizione assai elevata; che l'empio Simone andava denunciando la cosa a suo modo, ma complessivamente si trattava di quattrocento talenti d'argento e duecento d'oro;	و ان قسما منه لهركانس بن طوبيا احد عظماء الاشراف ثم ان الامر ليس على ما وشى به سمعان المنافق وانما المال كله اربعون قنطار فضة ومئتا قنطار ذهب
3:12	And he said that it was utterly impossible that wrong should be done to those people who had trusted in the holiness of the place and in the sanctity and inviolability of the temple that is honored throughout the whole world.	Man dürfe aber doch denen nicht Unrecht tun, die ihr Vertrauen auf die Heiligkeit des Ortes und auf die Würde und Unantastbarkeit des weltberühmten Heiligtums gesetzt hätten.	che era assolutamente impossibile permettere che fossero ingannati coloro che si erano fidati della santità del luogo e del carattere sacro e inviolabile di un tempio venerato in tutto il mondo.	فلا يجوز بوجه من الوجوه هضم الذين ائتمنوا قداسة الموضع ومهابة وحرمة الهيكل المكرم في المسكونة كلها
3:13	But Heliodorus, because of the orders he had from the king, said that this money must in any case be confiscated for the king's treasury.	Heliodor berief sich jedoch auf die Befehle, die er vom König erhalten hatte, und bestand darauf, alles für die königliche Schatzkammer zu beschlagnahmen.	Ma Eliodòro, a causa degli ordini ricevuti dal re, rispose recisamente che quelle ricchezze dovevano essere trasferite nell'erario del re.	لكن هليودورس بناء على امر الملك اصر على حمل الاموال الى خزانة الملك
3:14	So he set a day and went in to direct the inspection of these funds. There was no little distress throughout the whole city.	Am festgesetzten Tag schickte er sich an hineinzugehen, um eine Untersuchung der Schätze anzustellen.	Venne in un giorno da lui stabilito per ordinare l'inventario delle medesime, mentre tutta la città era in grande agitazione.	و عين يوما دخل فيه للفحص عن ذلك فكان في جميع المدينة ارتعاش شديد
3:15	The priests prostrated themselves before the altar in their priestly vestments and called toward heaven upon him who had given the law about deposits, that he should keep them safe for those who had deposited them.	Da geriet die ganze Stadt in nicht geringe Bestürzung. Die Priester warfen sich in ihren heiligen Gewändern vor dem Altar nieder und riefen den Himmel an: Er habe die Hinterlegung von Geld durch Gesetze geordnet; so solle er es jetzt denen, die es hinterlegt hatten, unversehrt bewahren.	I sacerdoti, rivestiti degli abiti sacerdotali, si erano prostrati davanti all'altare ed elevavano suppliche al Cielo che aveva sancito la legge dei depositi, perché fossero conservati integri a coloro che li avevano consegnati.	و انطرح الكهنة امام المذبح بحللهم الكهنوتية يبتهلون نحو السماء الى الذي سن في الودائع ان تصان لمستودعها
3:16	To see the appearance of the high priest was to be wounded at heart, for his face and the change in his color disclosed the anguish of his soul.	Wer aber die Gestalt des Hohenpriesters sah, dem blutete das Herz. Wie er aussah und wie sein Gesicht sich verfärbt hatte, verriet seine innere Qual.	Chi guardava l'aspetto del sommo sacerdote riportava uno strazio al cuore, poiché il volto e il cambiamento di colore ne mostravano l'intimo tormento.	و كان من راى وجه الكاهن الاعظم يتفطر فؤاده لان منظره وامتقاع لونه كانا ينبئان بما في نفسه من الارتعاش
3:17	For terror and bodily trembling had come over the man, which plainly showed to those who looked at him the pain lodged in his heart.	Furcht und Zittern nämlich hatten den Mann befallen und er bebte am ganzen Leib. Allen, die ihn sahen, wurde der Schmerz seines Herzens offenbar.	Tutta la sua persona era immersa in un timore e in un tremito del corpo da cui appariva manifesta, a chi osservava, l'angoscia che aveva in cuore.	اذ كان الرجل قد اشتمل عليه الرعب والقشعريرة فكانا يدلان الرائين على ما في قلبه من الكابة
3:18	People also hurried out of their houses in crowds to make a general supplication because the holy place was about to be brought into dishonor.	Die Leute stürzten in Scharen aus den Häusern heraus zum öffentlichen Gebet; denn dem Tempel drohte Schande.	Anche dalle case uscivano per accorrere in folla a una pubblica supplica, perché il luogo santo stava per essere violato.	و كان الناس يتبادرون من البيوت افواجا ليصلوا صلاة عامة لسبب الهوان المشرف على الموضع
3:19	Women, girded with sackcloth under their breasts, thronged the streets. Some of the young women who were kept indoors ran together to the gates, and some to the walls, while others peered out of the windows.	Die Frauen zogen Trauerkleider an, die die Brüste freiließen, und drängten sich auf die Straßen. Von den jungen Mädchen aber, die man sonst eingeschlossen hielt, liefen die einen an die Türen, die andern auf die Mauern; einige beugten sich aus den Fenstern heraus.	Le donne, cingendo sotto il petto il cilicio, riempivano le strade; anche le fanciulle, di solito ritirate, in parte accorrevano alle porte, in parte sulle mura, altre si sporgevano dalle finestre;	و كانت النساء يزدحمن في الشوارع وهن متحزمات بالمسوح تحت ثديهن والعذارى ربات الخدور يتجارين بعضهن الى الابواب وبعضهن الى الاسوار واخريات يتطلعن من الكوى
3:20	And holding up their hands to heaven, they all made supplication.	Sie alle streckten die Hände zum Himmel empor und beteten flehentlich.	tutte, con le mani protese verso il Cielo, moltiplicavano le suppliche.	و كلهن باسطات ايديهن الى السماء يتضرعن بالابتهال
3:21	There was something pitiable in the prostration of the whole populace and the anxiety of the high priest in his great anguish.	Es war zum Erbarmen, wie die Menge sich in heillosem Durcheinander zu Boden warf und wie der Hohepriester sich in seinem Kummer so schrecklich ängstigte.	Muoveva a compassione il pianto confuso della moltitudine e l'ansia tormentosa del sommo sacerdote.	فكان انكسار الجمهور وانتظار الكاهن الاعظم وهو في ارتعاش شديد مما يصدع القلب رحمة
3:22	While they were calling upon the Almighty Lord that he would keep what had been entrusted safe and secure for those who had entrusted it,	So riefen sie zum Herrn, dem Allherrscher, er möge das anvertraute Gut denen, die es hinterlegt hatten, unversehrt und ganz sicher bewahren.	Essi supplicavano l'onnipotente Signore che volesse conservare intatti in piena sicurezza i depositi per coloro che li avevano consegnati.	و كانوا يتضرعون الى الاله القدير ان يحفظ الودائع موفوره لمستودعيها
3:23	Heliodorus went on with what had been decided.	Heliodor jedoch machte sich daran, seinen Entschluss auszuführen.	Eliodòro metteva ugualmente in esecuzione il suo programma.	اما هليودورس فكان اخذا في اتمام ما قضى به وقد حضر هناك مع شرطه في الخزانة
3:24	But when he arrived at the treasury with his bodyguard, then and there the Sovereign of spirits and of all authority caused so great a manifestation that all who had been so bold as to accompany him were astounded by the power of God, and became faint wit	Schon stand er mit der Leibwache an der Schatzkammer. Da ließ der Herr der Geister und aller Macht eine gewaltige Erscheinung sichtbar werden. Alle, die ihn frech begleitet hatten, erschraken vor Gottes Macht; ihre Kräfte verließen sie und sie bekamen große Angst.	Ma appena fu arrivato sul posto con gli armati, presso il tesoro, il Signore degli spiriti e di ogni potere compì un'apparizione straordinaria, così che tutti i temerari che avevano osato entrare, colpiti dalla potenza di Dio, si trovarono fiaccati e atterriti.	فصنع رب ابائنا وسلطان كل قدرة اية عظيمة حتى ان جميع الذين اجتراوا على الدخول صرعتهم قدرة الله واخذهم الانحلال والرعب
3:25	For there appeared to them a magnificently caparisoned horse, with a rider of frightening mien; it rushed furiously at Heliodorus and struck at him with its front hoofs. Its rider was seen to have armor and weapons of gold.	Denn es erschien ihnen ein Pferd mit einem schrecklichen Reiter darauf; das Pferd war mit prächtigem Geschirr geschmückt. Es stürmte wild auf Heliodor ein und traf ihn heftig mit den Vorderhufen. Sein Reiter aber trug eine goldene Rüstung.	Infatti apparve loro un cavallo, montato da un cavaliere terribile e rivestito di splendida bardatura, il quale si spinse con impeto contro Eliodòro e lo percosse con gli zoccoli anteriori, mentre il cavaliere appariva rivestito di armatura d'oro.	و ذلك انه ظهر لهم فرس عليه راكب مخيف وجهازه فاخر فوثب وضرب هليودورس بحوافر يديه وكانت عدة الراكب كانها من ذهب
3:26	Two young men also appeared to him, remarkably strong, gloriously beautiful and splendidly dressed, who stood on either side of him and flogged him continuously, inflicting many blows on him.	Noch zwei andere junge Männer erschienen, voll gewaltiger Kraft, in strahlender Schönheit und herrlich gekleidet. Sie traten auf Heliodor zu und peitschten von beiden Seiten auf ihn ein; pausenlos schlugen sie ihn mit vielen Hieben.	A lui apparvero inoltre altri due giovani dotati di gran forza, splendidi di bellezza e con vesti meravigliose, i quali, postisi ai due lati, lo flagellavano senza posa, infliggendogli numerose percosse.	و تراءى ايضا لهليودورس فتيان عجيبا القوة بديعا البهاء حسنا اللباس فوقفا على جانبيه يجلدانه جلدا متواصلا حتى اثخناه بالضرب
3:27	When he suddenly fell to the ground and deep darkness came over him, his men took him up, put him on a stretcher,	Da stürzte er zu Boden und es wurde ihm schwarz vor den Augen. Man hob ihn schnell auf und legte ihn auf eine Bahre.	In un attimo fu atterrato e si trovò immerso in una fitta oscurità. Allora i suoi lo afferrarono e lo misero in una barella.	فسقط لساعته على الارض وغشيه ظلام كثيف فرفعوه وجعلوه على محمل
3:28	and carried him away-this man who had just entered the aforesaid treasury with a great retinue and all his bodyguard but was now unable to help himself. They recognized clearly the sovereign power of God.	Eben noch war er mit großem Gefolge und der ganzen Leibwache zu der genannten Schatzkammer gekommen; nun trug man ihn hilflos hinaus. Deutlich hatte man die Herrschermacht Gottes erkannt.	Egli che era entrato poco prima nella suddetta camera del tesoro con numeroso seguito e con tutta la guardia, fu portato via impotente ad aiutarsi. Dopo aver sperimentato nel modo più evidente la potenza di Dio.	فاذا به بعد ان دخل الخزانة المذكورة في موكب حافل وجند كثير قد اصبح محمولا لا مغيث له وقد تجلت لهم قدرة الله علانية
3:29	While he lay prostrate, speechless because of the divine intervention and deprived of any hope of recovery,	So lag er da, durch Gottes Macht gestürzt, der Sprache beraubt, ohne jede Hoffnung auf Rettung.	Così, mentre egli, prostrato dalla forza divina, era là senza voce e privo d'ogni speranza di salvezza,	فكان مطروحا بالقوة الالهية ابكم منقطع الرجاء من الخلاص
3:30	they praised the Lord who had acted marvelously for his own place. And the temple, which a little while before was full of fear and disturbance, was filled with joy and gladness, now that the Almighty Lord had appeared.	Die Juden aber priesen den Herrn, der an seinem Ort so herrlich seine Macht gezeigt hatte; und das Heiligtum, das eben noch voll war von Angst und Verwirrung, war erfüllt von Freude und Jubel; denn der allmächtige Herr hatte sich offenbart.	gli altri benedicevano il Signore che aveva glorificato il suo luogo santo; il tempio, che poco prima era pieno di trepidazione e confusione, dopo che il Signore onnipotente aveva manifestato il suo intervento, si riempì di gioia e letizia.	و اليهود يباركون الرب الذي مجد مقدسه وقد امتلا الهيكل ابتهاجا وتهللا اذ تجلى فيه الرب القدير بعدما كان قبيل ذلك مملوء اخوفا واضطرابا
3:31	Some of Heliodorus's friends quickly begged Onias to call upon the Most High to grant life to one who was lying quite at his last breath.	Sehr bald kamen ein paar Vertraute Heliodors zu Onias und baten ihn, er möge doch den Höchsten anrufen und so dem das Leben schenken, der in den letzten Zügen lag.	Subito alcuni compagni di Eliodòro pregarono Onia che supplicasse l'Altissimo e impetrasse la grazia della vita a costui che stava irrimediabilmente esalando l'ultimo respiro.	فبادر بعض من اصحاب هليودورس وسالوا اونيا ان يبتهل الى العلي ويمن عليه بالحياة اذ كان قد اصبح على اخر رمق
3:32	So the high priest, fearing that the king might get the notion that some foul play had been perpetrated by the Jews with regard to Heliodorus, offered sacrifice for the man's recovery.	Aus Sorge, der König könne der Meinung verfallen, Heliodor sei einem hinterhältigen Anschlag der Juden zum Opfer gefallen, brachte der Hohepriester ein Opfer dar, damit der Mann wieder gesund würde.	Il sommo sacerdote, temendo che il re per avventura venisse a sospettare che i Giudei avessero teso un tranello a Eliodòro, offrì un sacrificio per la salute dell'uomo.	فخالج قلب الكاهن الاعظم ان الملك ربما اتهم اليهود بمكيدة كادوها لهليودورس فقدم الذبيحة من اجل خلاص الرجل
3:33	While the high priest was making an atonement, the same young men appeared again to Heliodorus dressed in the same clothing, and they stood and said, Be very grateful to the high priest Onias, since for his sake the Lord has granted you your life.	Während der Hohepriester noch mit dem Versöhnungsopfer beschäftigt war, erschienen dem Heliodor dieselben jungen Männer wie zuvor, in der gleichen Kleidung. Sie traten zu ihm und sagten: Danke dem Hohenpriester Onias vielmals; denn seinetwegen schenkt der Herr dir gnädig das Leben.	Mentre il sommo sacerdote compiva il rito propiziatorio, apparvero a Eliodòro gli stessi giovani adorni delle stesse vesti, i quali in piedi dissero: «Ringrazia ampiamente il sommo sacerdote Onia, per merito del quale il Signore ti ridà la vita.	و بينما الكاهن الاعظم يقدم الكفارة اذ عاد ذانك الفتيان فظهر لهليودورس بلباسهما الاول ووقفا وقالا عليك بجزيل الشكر لاونيا الكاهن الاعظم فان الرب قد من عليك بالحياة من اجله
3:34	And see that you, who have been flogged by heaven, report to all people the majestic power of God. Having said this they vanished.	Der Himmel hat dich gezüchtigt. Nun verkünde du allen die gewaltige Kraft Gottes! Nach diesen Worten entschwanden sie.	Tu poi, che hai sperimentato i flagelli del Cielo, annuncia a tutti la grande potenza di Dio». Dette queste parole, disparvero.	و انت ايها المجلود فاخبر الجميع بقدرة الله العظيمة قالا ذلك وغابا عن النظر
3:35	Then Heliodorus offered sacrifice to the Lord and made very great vows to the Savior of his life, and having bidden Onias farewell, he marched off with his forces to the king.	Da ließ Heliodor dem Herrn ein Opfer darbringen und machte ihm große Gelübde, weil er ihn am Leben gelassen hatte. Er nahm Abschied von Onias und zog mit seinen Truppen zum König zurück.	Eliodòro offrì un sacrificio al Signore e innalzò grandi preghiere a colui che gli aveva restituito la vita, poi si congedò da Onia e fece ritorno con il suo seguito dal re.	فقدم هليودورس ذبيحة للرب وصلى اليه صلوات عظيمة على انه من عليه بالحياة وشكر اونيا ورجع بجيشه الى الملك
3:36	He bore testimony to all concerning the deeds of the supreme God, which he had seen with his own eyes.	Vor allen Menschen bezeugte er die Taten des größten Gottes, die er mit eigenen Augen gesehen hatte.	Egli testimoniava a tutti le opere del sommo Dio, che aveva visto con i suoi occhi.	و كان يعترف امام الجميع بما عاينه من اعمال الله العظيم
3:37	When the king asked Heliodorus what sort of person would be suitable to send on another mission to Jerusalem, he replied,	Als der König ihn fragte, wer geeignet sei, noch einmal nach Jerusalem geschickt zu werden, gab er zur Antwort:	Quando poi il re gli domandava chi fosse adatto ad essere inviato ancora una volta in Gerusalemme, rispondeva:	و سال الملك هليودورس من ترى يكون اهلا لان نعود فنرسله الى اورشليم فقال
3:38	If you have any enemy or plotter against your government, send him there, for you will get him back thoroughly flogged, if he survives at all; for there is certainly some power of God about the place.	Wenn du einen Feind oder einen Hochverräter weißt, dann schick ihn dorthin! Du kannst sicher sein, dass er geprügelt zurückkommt, wenn er überhaupt am Leben bleibt; denn an jenem Ort wirkt wahrhaftig eine göttliche Kraft.
