1:2	May God do good to you, and may he remember his covenant with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, his faithful servants.	Gott möge euch Gutes erweisen und seines Bundes gedenken, den er mit seinen treuen Dienern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschlossen hat. 1:3	May he give you all a heart to worship him and to do his will with a strong heart and a willing spirit.	Er gebe euch allen ein Herz, das euch fähig macht, ihn zu fürchten und seiner Lehre mutig und bereitwillig zu folgen.	conceda a tutti voi volontà di adorarlo e di compiere i suoi desideri con cuore generoso e animo pronto;	و ليؤتكم جميعا قلبا لان تعبدوه وتصنعوا مشيئته بصدر مشروح ونفس راضية
1:4	May he open your heart to his law and his commandments, and may he bring peace.	Er öffne euer Herz für sein Gesetz und für die Gebote und schenke euch Frieden.	vi dia una mente aperta ad intender la sua legge e i suoi comandi, e volontà di pace.	و يفتح قلوبكم لشريعته ووصاياه ويجعلكم في سلام
1:5	May he hear your prayers and be reconciled to you, and may he not forsake you in time of evil.	Er erhöre eure Gebete, schenke euch Versöhnung und verlasse euch nicht in der Not.	Esaudisca le vostre preghiere e vi sia propizio e non vi abbandoni nell'ora dell'avversità.	و ليستجب لصلواتكم ويتب عليكم ولا يخذلكم في اوان السوء
1:6	We are now praying for you here.	So beten wir hier für euch.	Noi qui appunto preghiamo per voi.	و نحن ههنا نصلي من اجلكم
1:7	In the reign of Demetrius, in the one hundred sixty-ninth year, we Jews wrote to you, in the critical distress that came upon us in those years after Jason and his company revolted from the holy land and the kingdom	Unter der Regierung des Demetrius, im Jahr 169, haben wir Juden euch geschrieben: In der höchsten Not, die in diesen Jahren über uns kam, als Jason und sein Anhang vom Heiligen Land und vom Königreich abfielen,	Quando regnava Demetrio nell'anno centosessantanove, noi Giudei vi abbiamo scritto: "Nelle calamità e angosce che ci hanno colpiti in questi anni da quando Giasone e i suoi partigiani hanno apostatato dalla città santa e dal regno,	كنا نحن اليهود قد كتبنا اليكم في عهد ديمتريوس في السنة المئة والتاسعة والستين حين الضيق والشدة التي نزلت بنا في تلك السنين بعد انصراف ياسون والذين معه من الارض المقدسة والمملكة
1:8	and burned the gate and shed innocent blood. We prayed to the Lord and were heard, and we offered sacrifice and grain offering, and we lit the lamps and set out the loaves.	verbrannten sie das Tempeltor und vergossen unschuldiges Blut. Wir aber beteten zum Herrn und er hat uns erhört. So konnten wir wieder Brand- und Speiseopfer darbringen; wir zündeten die Leuchter an und legten die Schaubrote aus.	incendiando il portone e versando sangue innocente, noi abbiamo pregato il Signore e siamo stati esauditi. Quindi abbiamo preso l'offerta delle vittime e del fior di farina, abbiamo acceso le lampade e presentato i panì'.	فانهم احرقوا الباب وسفكوا الدم الزكي فابتهلنا الى الرب فاستجاب لنا وقربنا الذبيحة والسميذ واوقدنا السرج وقدمنا الخبز
1:9	And now see that you keep the festival of booths in the month of Chislev, in the one hundred eighty-eighth year.	Und nun begeht die Tage des Laubhüttenfestes im Monat Kislew! Geschrieben im Jahr 188.	Vi scriviamo la presente per esortarvi a celebrare i giorni delle Capanne nel mese di Casleu. L'anno centottantotto.	فالان عليكم ان تعيدوا ايام المظال التي في شهر كسلو
1:10	The people of Jerusalem and of Judea and the senate and Judas, To Aristobulus, who is of the family of the anointed priests, teacher of King Ptolemy, and to the Jews in Egypt, Greetings and good health.	Die Bewohner Jerusalems und Judäas, der Hohe Rat und Judas wünschen dem Aristobul, dem Lehrer des Königs Ptolemäus, aus dem Geschlecht der gesalbten Priester, und den Juden Ägyptens Glück und Heil.	I Giudei residenti in Gerusalemme e nella Giudea, il consiglio degli anziani e Giuda, ad Aristòbulo, maestro del re Tolomeo, appartenente alla stirpe dei sacerdoti consacrati con l'unzione, e ai Giudei dimoranti in Egitto, salute e prosperità.	في السنة المئة والثامنة والثمانين من سكان اورشليم واليهودية والشيوخ ويهوذا الى ارسطوبولس مؤدب بطلماوس الملك الذي من ذرية الكهنة المسحاء والى اليهود الذين في مصر سلام وعافية
1:11	Having been saved by God out of grave dangers we thank him greatly for taking our side against the king,	Wir danken Gott von Herzen, der uns aus großen Gefahren errettet hat. So sind wir bereit, selbst mit einem König zu streiten.	Salvati da grandi pericoli per l'intervento di Dio, lo ringraziamo molto per esserci potuti schierare contro il re.	نشكر الله الشكر الجزيل على انه خلصنا من اخطار جسيمة عند مناصبتنا للملك
1:12	for he drove out those who fought against the holy city.	Gott selbst nämlich hat alle verjagt, die gegen die Heilige Stadt gekämpft haben.	Perché egli stesso ha respinto le forze schierate contro la santa città.	و دحر الذين يقاتلوننا في المدينة المقدسة
1:13	When the leader reached Persia with a force that seemed irresistible, they were cut to pieces in the temple of Nanea by a deception employed by the priests of the goddess Nanea.	Denn als der Fürst mit seinem Heer, das als unüberwindlich galt, nach Persien zog, fanden sie im Tempel der Nanäa den Tod. Die Priester der Nanäa hatten sie nämlich überlistet.	Recatosi in Persia, il loro capo e con lui l'esercito creduto invincibile, fu ucciso nel tempio della dea Nanea, per gli inganni orditi dai sacerdoti di Nanea.	فانه اذ كان الملك في فارس يقود جيشا لا يثبت امامه احد نكبوا في هيكل النناية بحيلة احتالها عليهم كهنة النناية
1:14	On the pretext of intending to marry her, Antiochus came to the place together with his Friends, to secure most of its treasures as a dowry.	Unter dem Vorwand, sich mit der Göttin zu vermählen, war Antiochus mit seinen Freunden, die ihn begleiteten, zum Tempel gekommen; sozusagen als Mitgift wollte er sich dabei die großen Reichtümer aneignen.	Con il pretesto di celebrare le nozze con lei, Antioco con i suoi amici si era recato sul posto per prelevarne le immense ricchezze a titolo di dote.	و ذلك انه جاء انطيوكس ومن معه من اصحابه الى هناك متظاهرا بانه يريد ان يقارنها وفي نفسه ان ياخذ الاموال على سبيل الصداق
1:15	When the priests of the temple of Nanea had set out the treasures and Antiochus had come with a few men inside the wall of the sacred precinct, they closed the temple as soon as he entered it.	Die Priester der Nanäa legten die Schätze für sie auch bereit und Antiochus ging mit einigen wenigen Männern in den heiligen Bezirk. Sobald er aber das Heiligtum betreten hatte, schlossen sie das Tor.	Dopo che i sacerdoti del tempio di Nanea gliele ebbero mostrate, egli entrò con pochi nel recinto sacro e quelli, chiuso il tempio alle spalle di Antioco	فابرز كهنة النناية الاموال ودخل هو مع نفر يسير الى داخل المعبد ثم اغلقوا الهيكل
1:16	Opening a secret door in the ceiling, they threw stones and struck down the leader and his men; they dismembered them and cut off their heads and threw them to the people outside.	Sie öffneten eine geheime Tür an der Decke, warfen schwere Steine herab, zerschmetterten den Fürsten (und seine Begleiter), zerstückelten sie, schnitten ihnen die Köpfe ab und warfen sie hinaus zu denen, die draußen stehen geblieben waren.	e aperta una porta segreta nel soffitto, scagliarono pietre e fulminarono il condottiero e i suoi. Poi fattili a pezzi e tagliate le loro teste, le gettarono a quelli di fuori.	فلما دخل انطيوكس فتحوا بابا خفيا كان في ارض الهيكل وقذفوا حجارة رجموا بها القائد ثم قطعوهم قطعا وحزوا رؤوسهم والقوها الى الذين كانوا في الخارج
1:17	Blessed in every way be our God, who has brought judgment on those who have behaved impiously.	Für all das sei unser Gott gepriesen: Er hat die Sünder dem Untergang preisgegeben.	In tutto sia benedetto il nostro Dio, che ha consegnato alla morte gli empi.	ففي كل شيء تبارك الهنا الذي اسلم الكفرة
1:18	Since on the twenty-fifth day of Chislev we shall celebrate the purification of the temple, we thought it necessary to notify you, in order that you also may celebrate the festival of booths and the festival of the fire given when Nehemiah, who built the	Wir wollen nun am fünfundzwanzigsten Kislew die Reinigung des Tempels feiern. Darum hielten wir es für unsere Pflicht, euch davon zu benachrichtigen, damit auch ihr sie wie die Tage des Laubhüttenfestes feiern könnt und wie die Tage des Feuers. (Letztere erinnern an den Tag,) an dem Nehemia nach dem Aufbau von Tempel und Altar erstmals wieder Opfer darbrachte.	Stando noi per celebrare la purificazione del tempio il venticinque di Casleu, abbiamo creduto necessario darvi qualche spiegazione, perché anche voi celebriate la festa delle Capanne e del fuoco, apparso quando Neemia offrì i sacrifici dopo la ricostruzione del tempio e dell'altare.	وبعد فإذ كنا مزمعين ان نعيد عيد تطهير الهيكل في اليوم الخامس والعشرين من شهر كسلو راينا من الواجب ان نعلن اليكم انتعيدوا انتم ايضا عيد المظال والنار التي ظهرت حين بنى نحميا الهيكل والمذبح وقدم الذبيحة
1:19	For when our ancestors were being led captive to Persia, the pious priests of that time took some of the fire of the altar and secretly hid it in the hollow of a dry cistern, where they took such precautions that the place was unknown to anyone.	Denn als unsere Väter nach Persien in die Verbannung geführt wurden, nahmen die Priester, die fromm geblieben waren, etwas von dem Feuer des Altars mit und verbargen es heimlich im Schacht eines leeren Brunnens. Sie versteckten es so, dass die Stelle allen unbekannt blieb.	Infatti quando i nostri padri furono deportati in Persia, i sacerdoti fedeli di allora, preso il fuoco dall'altare, lo nascosero con cautela nella cavità di un pozzo che aveva il fondo asciutto e là lo misero al sicuro, in modo che il luogo rimanesse ignoto a tutti.	فانه حين اجلي اباؤنا الى فارس اخذ بعض اتقياء الكهنة من نار المذبح سرا وخباوها في جوف بئر لا ماء فيها وحافظوا عليها بحيث بقي الموضع مجهولا عند الجميع
1:20	But after many years had passed, when it pleased God, Nehemiah, having been commissioned by the king of Persia, sent the descendants of the priests who had hidden the fire to get it. And when they reported to us that they had not found fire but only a thi	Darüber vergingen viele Jahre. Doch als es Gott gefiel, sandte der König von Persien den Nehemia her. Der schickte die Nachkommen jener Priester aus, um das Feuer holen zu lassen, das ihre Väter einst versteckt hatten.	Dopo un buon numero di anni, quando piacque a Dio, Neemia, rimandato dal re di Persia, inviò i discendenti di quei sacerdoti che avevano nascosto il fuoco, a farne ricerca; quando essi ci riferirono che non avevano trovato il fuoco ma acqua grassa, comandò loro di attingerne e portarne.	و بعد انقضاء سنين كثيرة حين شاء الله ارسل ملك فارس نحميا الى هنا فبعث اعقاب الكهنة الذين خباوا النار لالتماسها الا انهم كما حدثونا لم يجدوا نارا بل ماء خاثرا
1:21	When the materials for the sacrifices were presented, Nehemiah ordered the priests to sprinkle the liquid on the wood and on the things laid upon it.	Als sie uns erklärten, kein Feuer gefunden zu haben, sondern nur eine dicke Flüssigkeit, befahl er ihnen, etwas davon zu schöpfen und zu ihm zu bringen. Das Opfer wurde hergerichtet. Dann ließ Nehemia von den Priestern das Brennholz, und was darauf lag, mit diesem zähflüssigen Wasser begießen.	Poi furono portate le offerte per i sacrifici e Neemia comandò che venisse aspersa con quell'acqua la legna e quanto vi era sopra.	فامرهم ان يغرفوا وياتوا به ولما احضرت الذبائح امر نحميا الكهنة ان ينضحوا بهذا الماء الخشب والموضوع عليه
1:22	When this had been done and some time had passed, and when the sun, which had been clouded over, shone out, a great fire blazed up, so that all marveled.	So geschah es. Nach einiger Zeit brach die Sonne hervor, die von Wolken verdeckt gewesen war. Da flammte ein großes Feuer auf und alle staunten.	Così fu fatto e dopo un pò di tempo il sole, che prima era coperto di nubi, cominciò a risplendere e si accese un gran rogo, con grande meraviglia di tutti.	فصنعوا كذلك ولما برزت الشمس وقد كانت محجوبة بالغيم اتقدت نار عظيمة حتى تعجب الجميع
1:23	And while the sacrifice was being consumed, the priests offered prayer-the priests and everyone. Jonathan led, and the rest responded, as did Nehemiah.	Während das Opfer verbrannte, beteten die Priester und alle Anderen, die bei ihnen waren; Jonatan stimmte an und die Übrigen, darunter auch Nehemia, beteten laut mit.	I sacerdoti si posero allora in preghiera, mentre il sacrificio veniva consumato, e con i sacerdoti tutti gli altri: Giònata intonava, gli altri continuavano in coro insieme a Neemia.	و عند احراق الذبيحة كان الكهنة كلهم يصلون وكان يوناتان يبدا والباقون يجيبونه
1:24	The prayer was to this effect: O Lord, Lord God, Creator of all things, you are awe-inspiring and strong and just and merciful, you alone are king and are kind,	Das Gebet aber lautete so: Herr, o Herr, du Gott und Schöpfer aller Dinge, furchtbarer, starker, gerechter und barmherziger Gott! Du allein bist König und du bist gütig.	La preghiera era formulata in questo modo: Signore, Signore Dio, creatore di tutto, tremendo e potente, giusto e misericordioso, tu solo re e buono,	و هذا ما صلى به نحميا ايها الرب الرب الاله خالق الكل المرهوب القوي العادل الرحيم يا من هو وحده الملك والبار
1:25	you alone are bountiful, you alone are just and almighty and eternal. You rescue Israel from every evil; you chose the ancestors and consecrated them.	Du allein gibst alle Gaben. Nur du bist gerecht, allmächtig und ewig. Du rettest Israel aus aller Not. Du hast unsere Väter erwählt und sie heilig gemacht.	tu solo generoso, tu solo giusto e onnipotente ed eterno, che salvi Israele da ogni male, che hai fatto i nostri padri oggetto di elezione e santificazione,	يا من هو وحده المتفضل العادل القدير الازلي مخلص اسرائيل من كل شر الذي اصطفى اباءنا وقدسهم
1:26	Accept this sacrifice on behalf of all your people Israel and preserve your portion and make it holy.	Nimm dieses Opfer an für dein ganzes Volk Israel! Behüte dein Erbteil und mach es heilig!	accetta il sacrificio offerto per Israele tuo popolo, custodisci la tua porzione e santificala.	تقبل الذبيحة من اجل جميع شعبك اسرائيل وصن ميراثك وقدسه
1:27	Gather together our scattered people, set free those who are slaves among the Gentiles, look on those who are rejected and despised, and let the Gentiles know that you are our God.	Sammle uns aus der Zerstreuung, befrei alle, die bei den Heiden in Knechtschaft leben, schau auf die Verachteten und Verabscheuten! Dadurch sollen die Heiden erkennen, dass du unser Gott bist.	Raccogli i nostri dispersi, libera quelli che sono schiavi in mano ai pagani, guarda benigno i disprezzati e gli oltraggiati; sappiano i pagani che tu sei il nostro Dio.	و اجمع شتاتنا واعتق المستعبدين عند الامم وانظر الى الممتهنين والممقوتين ولتعلم الامم انك انت الهنا
1:28	Punish those who oppress and are insolent with pride.	Strafe die stolzen und frechen Unterdrücker!	Punisci quelli che ci opprimono e ci ingiuriano con superbia.	و عاقب الظالمين والقاذفين بتجبر
1:29	Plant your people in your holy place, as Moses promised.	Pflanz dein Volk an deinem heiligen Ort ein! Denn so hat es Mose zugesagt.	Concedi al tuo popolo di radicarsi nel tuo luogo santo, come ha detto Mosè.	و اغرس شعبك في مكانك المقدس كما قال موسى
1:30	Then the priests sang the hymns.	Die Priester begleiteten die Loblieder, die man sang, mit Musik.	I sacerdoti a loro volta cantavano inni.	و كان الكهنة يرنمون بالاناشيد
1:31	After the materials of the sacrifice had been consumed, Nehemiah ordered that the liquid that was left should be poured on large stones.	Als das Opfer verbrannt war, ließ Nehemia das übrig gebliebene Wasser auf große Steine schütten.	Poi vennero consumate le vittime del sacrificio e Neemia ordinò che il resto dell'acqua venisse versata sulle pietre più grosse.	و لما احرقت الذبيحة امر نحميا بان يريقوا ما بقي من الماء على الحجارة الكبيرة
1:32	When this was done, a flame blazed up; but when the light from the altar shone back, it went out.	Da entzündete sich eine lodernde Flamme. Sie verzehrte sich im Schein des Feuers, das vom Altar her leuchtete.	Fatto questo, si accese una fiamma, la quale tuttavia fu assorbita dal bagliore del fuoco acceso sull'altare.	فلما صنعوا ذلك اتقد اللهيب فاطفاه النور المنبعث من المذبح
1:33	When this matter became known, and it was reported to the king of the Persians that, in the place where the exiled priests had hidden the fire, the liquid had appeared with which Nehemiah and his associates had burned the materials of the sacrifice,	Dieses Ereignis wurde überall bekannt und man meldete dem persischen König, an der Stelle, an der die Priester, die in die Verbannung gingen, das Feuer versteckt hätten, sei das Wasser zum Vorschein gekommen, das die Leute des Nehemia dann über das Opfer gossen.	Quando fu divulgato il fatto e fu annunciato al re dei Persiani che nel luogo dove i sacerdoti deportati avevano nascosto il fuoco era comparsa acqua e che i sacerdoti al seguito di Neemia avevano con quella purificato le cose necessarie al sacrificio,	فشاع ذلك واخبر ملك فارس ان الموضع الذي خبا فيه الكهنة النار حين جلائهم قد ظهر فيه ماء وبه طهر الذين مع نحميا الذبيحة
1:34	the king investigated the matter, and enclosed the place and made it sacred.	Nachdem der König die Sache geprüft hatte, ließ er den Ort umfrieden und für heilig erklären.	il re fece cingere il luogo e lo dichiarò sacro, dopo aver accertato il fatto.	فسيجه الملك وصيره مقدسا بعد الفحص عن الامر
1:35	And with those persons whom the king favored he exchanged many excellent gifts.	Auch nahm der König viele kostbare Geschenke und verteilte sie unter die, denen er wohlgesinnt war.	Il re ricevette anche molti doni da quelli che aveva favoriti e ne diede a sua volta.	و انعطف الملك اليهم واخذ عطايا كثيرة ووهبها لهم
1:36	Nehemiah and his associates called this nephthar, which means purification, but by most people it is called naphtha.	Die Leute um Nehemia nannten das Wasser Neftar, das heißt: Reinigung. Bei den meisten aber heißt es Neftai.	I compagni di Neemia chiamarono questo luogo Neftar che significa spurificaziones; ma i più lo chiamano Neftai.	و سماه الذين مع نحميا نفطار اي تطهيرا ويعرف عند كثيرين بنفطاي
